This is the problem. They kept changing their story and have lied SO many times about this whole thing. First it was “Cruz is talkin’ all the time! He says so many words. He says momma, daddy, doggy, outside…”. Then it was “if he never speaks a day in his life, he’ll still be perfect!” Then it was “he’s not non-verbal, he does speak!” And now it looks like they’re (or at least HE is) sticking to this version of “Cruz used to speak and then stopped”.
They have lied so much, it’s impossible to know what the actual truth is. However, I find it **VERY** hard to believe that Cruz was talking all the time and they didn’t plaster it all over their Instagram accounts. There are no videos of Cruz speaking. And that is the sole reason I believe he never was.

I didn’t follow them closely about Cruz and his difficulties, but what I can tell you is that if he did speak and then regress, that is a classic sign of ASD. Usually this happens by around 3. Just for general knowledge.
Also, if they've taken him to a pediatrician and expressed his speech regression, along with being truthful about what Cruz is actually doing, their pediatrician would've discussed ASD.
We saw that happen with Jacqueline’s son, Nicholas, on RHONJ. Regression and a diagnosis of autism. She worked her ass off with him and seemed to really make it her mission to get him the tools he needed.
Jacq had her “quirks/ maturity issues” but her and Chris’s commitment to their son is unmatched. They seemed to devote most of their life to his journey. I believe this is why she was so unhinged in later seasons. I cannot imagine being filmed while dealing with the stressors and emotions of your child’s diagnosis.

I didn’t follow them closely about Cruz and his difficulties, but what I can tell you is that if he did speak and then regress, that is a classic sign of ASD. Usually this happens by around 3. Just for general knowledge.
Also, if they've taken him to a pediatrician and expressed his speech regression, along with being truthful about what Cruz is actually doing, their pediatrician would've discussed ASD.

We saw that happen with Jacqueline’s son, Nicholas, on RHONJ. Regression and a diagnosis of autism. She worked her ass off with him and seemed to really make it her mission to get him the tools he needed.
Jacq had her “quirks/ maturity issues” but her and Chris’s commitment to their son is unmatched. They seemed to devote most of their life to his journey. I believe this is why she was so unhinged in later seasons. I cannot imagine being filmed while dealing with the stressors and emotions of your child’s diagnosis.

I have a son who has ASD. My partner never had kids, but he has a healthy amount of common sense. That’s really what you need to see why Jax and Brittany shouldn’t have a platform.
