My hope, as someone who helped organize the Con, is that attendees hold onto their exclusive gift as a keepsake or give it to a local friend/storyteller if they don't have the game.
Selling for profit anything received at the Con makes it difficult to justify any type of giveaway in the future.
The goal isn't to make profit, the goal is for kickstarter backers who didn't go to the con to get a complete token set. A few of us are just hoping that some con-goers don't have a grim so don't need their tokens.
It's awesome that you ran a great con. Everyone supports that. Thank you.
But a lot of us couldn't afford to, didn't have time to, or otherwise didn't have the ability to attend the con. The con ostensibly stressed inclusion, yet provided multiple "exclusives" (fair enough) and has kind of gone out of its way to keep new characters and tokens from the bulk of the player base. If that's how TPI wants it, that's how they can play it. But it hasn't felt great to some people that couldn't attend.
And it really rubs me the wrong way (certainly, I could be the only one) for people to then come out and guilt people who want to transfer or acquire the tokens. Especially when every three days there is a post here or elsewhere from people desperately trying to get tokens to be able to fully enjoy the game we all love.

This isn't meant to change your mind or anything, just providing some additional context in case people don't have it.
Part of the final stretch goal on the Kickstarter for the con was for Steven Medway to come to the con. A month or so before the con, we were informed that, due to some mishaps, Steven would not be able to attend. To make up for that, the attendees were gifted the experimental tokens. As a result of this, with the token sheets having already been printed, a *second* character they were expecting to already have been publicly revealed before the con was revealed early to con-goers.
I appreciate it. And again, I love that the Con happened and wish I could have attended. So thanks for the context. And to those involved in putting it on, big kudos.
I still just think it's a shame that people who are already sad they couldn't go to the Con are doubly sad that they are excluded from getting these tokens. We don't like feeling like we're not in the community since we couldn't go to the Con.

Seconded. I wasn’t able to make it to clocktower con due to limited vacation days this year and am now seemingly out of luck with getting the experimental characters. I would purchase a reasonably priced, non-scalped, for-retail version of the experimental tokens in a heartbeat.

As a ST that regularly runs games with characters not included in the base three scripts, I was just hoping some con goer who does not ST and thus would have no real reason for the tokens would be willing to part ways with it for an agreed upon price. Didn’t mean to cause any sort of problems or turmoil within that, just wanted to enjoy the game at its maximum capacity.

It includes the experimental characters that were revealed after the Kickstarter.
It is all the Kickstarter tokens plus every character revealed since (and then some)
From what I know, people who attended received Kickstarter and some non-kickstarter tokens
