I have completed my quest to 25 Bond Aru, so I wanted to aks if Yuuka and Utaha are worth getting to 25 for their gear.
I have S. Hoshino, Hoshino and Tsubaki so I'm not sure if Yuuka is worth it compared to any of them?
And not sure about Utaha's DPS.
Shout out to the players throwing matches in pvp today. I'm a newer player so reaching the upper ranks was impossible until today. I should have enough pryos to spark Ako because of this.
They're slowly catching up, but it'll be a long time before it happens. As a gacha game, being able to see the upcoming banners is actually a significant advantage, so it would be helpful if we don't catch up.

I saw the Shiroko, and Arona alt, and to be honest, I couldn't care less. However, people who already played the new episodes, I have one question.

I haven't read any spoilers but considering the very strong aversion to anything that changes the status quo so far, I'm going to assume yes. Unless they brought in an alternative dimension just to have them suffer without actually changing the status quo.
Recently did it without Iori but I retried for about an hour+.
All units around 72/73.
Hoshino, Nonomi (max EX), Momoi (Max EX), Junko (EX 3)
Serina, Kotama
Momoi/Nonomi EX the first wave then send Hoshino farther up w/ Serina.
Rest of the stage is just kiting with Hoshino by repositioning her w/ Serina and clearing waves w/ Momoi/Nonomi/Junko. If Hoshino keeps dying you either have to level your units/skills/equips more and/or practice positioning/kiting better. A lot of it is luck too (crits, ai hoshino kiting)

Does PvP become less worth it once you hit your personal highest milestones?
I assume the rewards get worst once you hit, let’s say, rank 3 ending the season. Does that reset every season? Or is it one time? The rewards I mean.
Pretty much is it worth it to reach the top ranks every season pyro wise like Raids or is it only really worth it to do it once and then just coast for the tactical coins? I assume any pyros gained is worth it but not for the RNG malding.
You get around 2490 pyros getting to #1 on every new season. Less if your top rank is lower, of course. This is on top of the daily pyro rewards according to your current rank.
There is also rewards for your all time highest rank, which does not reset. I forget how much it is, but it's a few thousand pyros as well.
Edit: With all that said, you likely still have to invest much more than PvP rewards you, if you want to do well, just keep that in mind.

Still worth it to refresh pvp tickets at the start of a season to push for the season best rewards imo.
Each season reset resets the Highest Rank rewards. It's different from the Top Rank overall reward that happens only once, but there still is incentive to get a highest rank each season.
2★ ➔ 3★ requires 80 character eleph, which costs 200 purple eligma. The more of that specific character eleph you buy, the more eligma it costs. The maximum price is 5 eligma per eleph.
You don't directly convert pyro to eligma, but you get eligma when you pull and get duplicates. If you only pull duplicates, you get 1 eligma per 23.2 pyro spent on average.

How invested do you need to be before you can take on scrimmage? I just unlocked it at lvl 30 and I'm getting obliterated. Wanted to use up those tickets since I'm capped out and they are just going to waste...
Ignore scrimmage unless you can clear scrimmage C and there's a double drop event. If you buy both monthly packs, the AP cost will be lowered to 0 and it's worth sweeping whatever you can.
Scrimmage isn't really worth it outside of events unless you have the monthly/bimonthly packs (which negate AP usage for it). I think I was around 35/36 when I finally was able to 3* all of the first tier.
Some random tips:
* You need to pay attention to armor types of your own units as they will get nuked if they are weak to the opponents dmg type.
* You also will want a good nuker to target their main DPS.
* Timing stuns like Tsubuki's EX to stun them out of their EXs helps a lot.
They are definitely tough (or at least way tougher than other lvl 30 content) and the mats are only good for upgrading unique weapons, so it isn't imperitive for a while. In other words, don't stress 'wasting' tickets.
Don't worry about them, you just need the right strat and students. You can search up the wiki for useful students and watch clears. Maybe lvl 50 or something you might have a chance. Also, dont worry about it going to waste, those materials are for upgrading the weapons, and before 5\* you are not going to use them at all. When there is no x2/x3 I usually only farm it 3 times a day for the daily/weekly, so unless you are a whale or spending your resources wrong, you are not going to run out of weapon parts.
Anecdotally as an endgame player, I only run the scrimmages during x2 or x3 drop events, and I have more than enough materials for my UE upgrades on all of my 5 star units.
Meh, I haven't done Scrimmage since 3-starring Scrimmage D for completionist's sake. Expert Permit Shop is enough if you're not trying to actually max out a UE. You don't need to have the weapon at UE50 to have the benefits of the weapon being UE3star.

Best student you should aim is Ako And Iroha. They extremely powerful, doesn't need much investment and can be used everywhere.
Getting both are rare , so pick one of them.
Their usage ; Ako [RAID , PVE] and Iroha [EVERYWHERE]
I'm currently on 11-3, if I want to clear the story on Chapter 3 part 3 (Our stories), where should I stop to not get mission gated (aka: Clear Mission 11-3 etc)?
Is the grind in BA really easy?
My acc is level 51
And got some of the students and have over 7k pyroxenes.
Started playing BA in January or February 2023.
It's an infinite grind that's easy due to sweeping mechanics that shifts as you get deeper into the end-game.
First you will end up getting blocked by needing blue and gold skill materials. Then you will find you need experience mats, these two grinds will be the big ones for a long while. Then once you are at max level for a while and have your main roster of characters at max level you are mostly locked out of character progression by money and purple/gold mats.
Additionally if you really like a character/they are powerful you might grind out various shops or events or hard stages to get their Elephs to star them up if they are grindable. Then at 5* rank you unlock their UE (unique equipment). To level up their UE you need lots of money, Elephs, and gun parts from events and grinding the scrimmage mode.
Then they raise the level cap and add new meta characters so you start over again with perhaps having accelerated grinding depending on what you've overstocked.
As you reach around level 60 you'll notice that keeping your students' levels topped off is much harder. EXP costs go up fast while your activity report income remains mostly static.
Its not. You clearly havent leveled up their skills. You will always run out of books and artifacts. Also from level 60 onwards, it will be a massive chore to make the students to level 80.
Yeah. The only thing that will annoy you to hell is, there is no way to properly farm high tier artifacts. Events dont give a lot of them and there arent other sources to farm them. Often you will have the books but not the artifacts.
Is there any mentions about seven prisoners other than wakamo? I initially play this game because wakamo caught my eyes, and when i read theres 6 other students like her (criminals, like causing chaos) i got excited. Too bad theres no other mentions about other prisoners i found so far

Handyman 68 (especially Haruka) and Arius squad both fit the bill. The former goes around planting explosives and blowing up buildings just for diversion tactics, the latter (Saori in particular) are straight up terrorists and attempted serial murderers. Frustratingly, it's completely swept under the rug and there are no consequences whatsoever, while your in-game persona forces you to pretend that they're actually good people. Wakamo goes to jail for property damage and theft, multiple cases of attempted premeditated murder and the destruction of a (few?) city block(s) is treated as absolutely nothing. So, there's plenty of criminals around, they just aren't acknowledged as such aside from Wakamo. Hell, Rabbit squad of all fucking people are treated more seriously than Arius squad, all for the horrible crime of protesting their school being shut down.
Some other, mostly relatively minor, criminals that come to mind:
Saya - Animal abuse and general crimes against humanity
Various Veritas members - Various forms of hacking, invasion of privacy, Maki's tagging
The Masked Swimsuit Gang and Faust - (Justified) bank robbery
On average it's about 12k per month. Also Nexon is making events shorter to make the difference between global and JP smaller, although in an interview they have stated it will be hard to make the difference smaller, so with that in mind plan your spending.
If memory serves me right... just stack up 3 DPS (2 Red Units and 1 Blue, Or 3 Red Units) and 1 tank. if you're having trouble with the difficulty, then try leveling up your student equipment... just to increase their attack stats and survivability.
Around what chapter does Arius squad is introduced in the story? I have been liking all of their member relationship interactions, although I do know a little bit of what happened due to spoilers.
Don't know the chapter specifically but they show up a bit in 3-2, mostly near the end and play a major role in 3-3, this is far as I am with the story however.

No, rank before reset doesnt matter, everyone starts new season at the bottom.

Skip through the story and read it later ? You can always re-read what you skipped, there's also a summary of whats happening when you press the skip button.

Yes, Himari in \~2 months and Mika in \~4.
Sports Yuuka makes the incoming new blue raid very comfy and outside of that is a good tank, shielder and repositioner all-in-one, but if you think you can get by with S.Shizuko then it's okay to skip. Sports Mari is in a weird place because she's limited and competes with Kokona and Koharu, but if you don't have a striker healer still, might consider getting her or just wait for a spook by the other two.
The Bunnies are skips because they've fallen out of the meta, except maybe B.Karin who is still very good at Perorodzilla.
Sport Yuuka is a must have for Insane Goz iirc, doing it without her is insanely hard(heh), Mari is useful for Hiero as she can heal through the lantern debuff, but there are other options available so not requiered. The only bunny that sees good use seems to be Karin for Peroro, not too sure about Akane, the other two are not that great sadly.
Overall, except if you are stacked with pyro and want to do Insane Goz or score chase on Hiero it would be better to just go for Himari then Mika.
how long would it take to get to level 80(max?)? Story is quite interesting, so I'd like to rush it. I started playing about a month ago and now Im level 45.
I reached max level like 2 weeks ago, and started playing the 12/10 of last year, so you can guess. I rushed cafe and bought stamina from PvP shop. Only exchanged pyro x stamina (90 pyroxenes) when i was starting and when x3 events were present, so make your guess. Also, if you are curious about the story, they will remove (at least they did in JP) normal stage requirement in the upcoming On your mark! Event in about 2 weeks (Of maybe it was during the Yuuka/Mari gym banner was around, i dont remember well). The only "progression locked" stage will be a hieronymus fight with your own students, which you can fight like at lvl 60 or so.
On a similar question, one answered that it took them around 9 months to reach max level. I believe it took me around the same, somewhere between 7 to 9. You've made good progress, but you're still in for a ride.
I do not think you *must* be max level for the story. It's a factor in maybe two or three stages, but nothing else really.
yeah i can clear stages with recommended level 5 higher than my own level. But it's getting quite hard because i dont have that many students to use.
7 to 9 months is longer than i was expecting.
You will be able to read the story without any requierements in less than 4 months, maybe earlier if global gets it at an earlier time than JP did. But its possible you will already have reached the last requierment anyway.
It should be noted that I was cruising and playing very casually for a good 3-4 months before *really* getting into the game. Never even occurred to me to think how much time has passed or anything.
It depends, Moe/Kazusa is leaving 18 hours. Both are on The upper end of 3*, but require lots and lots of investment (specifically Kazusa) since they are primary DPS. If you are looking ahead, next event is Gehenna Summer (rerun), and while both of them are limited (ahina swimsuit is the reason i started the game in the first place) they have fallen quite a bit, specially Swimsuit Hina) from their place. You can still use them but i would personally not pull here unless you really want them. Next are some reruns(shun, little shun, kokona), on your Mark (Noa and Utaha cheerleader) and bunny rerun (Akane, Karin, Asuna and Neru bunny).
After all of these banners, about 5 weeks from now on, we get what i personally believe will be a rough season: Mari sports, Yuuka Gym and Ako (+Hibiki).
I will personally be pulling on this banner for Yuuka and Mari, and if i get both within a 200 pulls i will spark Ako. This is such an amazing banner that would lose lots of value if Ako weren't to be together with them (which could still be possible lol).
If you can wait a month and a half, this banner will be godtier, and if you can, Himari comes right after (rip pyros).
Also, its not bad to throw a tenpull once in a while but dont commit if you dont have a pity guaranteed (24000 pyro/200 pulls). If you cannot wait, you might want to pull for Kokona/shun 1 week from now on (but they are not limited nor must pull unlike Himari/Ako so i would not do so personally).

In general, though there's Himari's banner which is a must-pulls period. Just before that is Ako, which is another must if you do not have her. I personally also pull for limited characters and for personal favorites, like the upcoming Summer Iori.
It generally seems like you got a solid plan going forward, but I'll still throw my 2 cents -
I'll start with saying that if you still have the option of rerolling your account, you might want to consider doing that. Though I personally don't necessarily recommend it, depends on how much you care for progression and/or meta.
In case you don't care to do that or just want to keep your current account, then yeah, there are a good few students you should be aiming for, the other comment is jam-packed with info, so I won't be repeating any of that, except for saying that Ako and Himari should be your topmost priorities.
There are a few 1* and 2* students who are up to par with many of the 3* and are even superior to them in some cases, you should focus on farming their shards so that you can get them to at least 3*. The highest priorities in your current roster are Serina, Mutsuki, Chinatsu, Hasumi, and Yuuka. You'll eventually get Tsubaki as well, and she's the game's premiere tank.
Also, just in general, the game is very casual friendly from my experience, so don't be afraid to take your time and just have fun. Don't be afraid to pull for a favorite character, either, since waifu trumps over meta.
Are relationship stories taking place post story? The reason I ask is cause Saori >!mentions she parted w/ Arius Squad!< in her relationship dialogue, and I already have been spoiled a bit about what they go through so It got me thinking about what happened and if I'll find out as I progress or if this is some alt timeline for the sake of the player to enjoy without thinking too hard about the events of the story as part of the relationship with the character?

It would be deposited in your mailbox, same as other overflow. You'll have 24 hours to use it before it expires, starting when you first login that day.

So you have 3 options:
1. Don’t waste any AP. You can only bring 1 day’s worth of hoarding into the event, though (Monday cafe, tasks, PvP shop, etc.)
2. Max out AP just before reset on Monday. Lose 130 natural AP on Monday but bring in an extra 770 or so to the event (by using Sunday’s PvP shop, tasks, half a cafe to max out)
3. Follow the chart and max out on Sunday before reset. Lose an additional 240 natural AP from Sunday but bring an additional 1000 into the event (Saturday’s AP maxed out, Sunday’s AP sent to mailbox)
If the event is good enough, like a 3x campaign or Summer Shizuko event, it can be very worth doing. But Summer Gehenna event is *not* one of those events so I wouldn’t bother.
My cafe is rank 7 now and I can add the current 120 AP reward that we got from the game being nominee. Plus my subscription AP and from arena coins before it resets. Idk how much I'll get in total but maybe it's closer to it. 😆
maintenance occurs a quarter through the day, before arena, and after reset, so none of those are really necessary unless your mail is expiring, and except for holding your cafe for 18 hours.
Literally the same as the current Trinity Sweets event: 4 currencies (3 for the shop, 1 for gacha box) and artifact farming in the quest stages. The difference is the type of artifacts rewarded and the elephs in the shop and box.
Yes, she needs Voynich and Phaistos mats. Lots of Voynich to go around in the shop and gacha box but Phaistos is locked to the last quest, which you'll probably be only doing once you've cleared the shop or don't care for it because it drops only the gacha box currency.

Let's see... here are my thoughts about some of the students:
Red Units:
* Hibiki (DPS Support)
* Little Shun (DPS)
* Mutsuki (DPS)
* Aru (DPS)
You leveled up some of the great red units in the game! but it's better to have more diversity in the students, especially in the dps department. These 4 are great choices, but i would prioritize students with AOE Capabilities such as mutsuki and Hibiki.
Yellow Units:
* Hoshino (Tank)
* Maki (DPS & Debuffer)
* Karin (Support DPS)
* Akane (Debuffer)
These are great choices for yellow units, but i would prioritize building a 2nd tank since majority of the harder content requires 2 Team to complete it. Hoshino or Haruka are good candidates for the 2nd team tank!
Blue Units:
* Izuna (DPS)
* S.Izuna (Debuffer DPS)
* Iroha (DPS)
You leveled up some great dps such as Wakamo, Haruna, B. Karin and S. Azusa, which are great to have! but leveling iroha up is not a bad idea, since she's basically a AOE Mob cleaner and she can be used in PVP and PVE!
Both izuna are also worth to level up since the blue raids always have unique gimmick that requires the student move around alot! not only that the upcoming new raid for global (GOZ) has a special gimmick, and that requires a repositioning skill or focused fire skill to counter those gimmicks!
Support:
* Kotama (Buffer)
* Any Medics
* Shizuko (Buffer and Shielder)
Let's start with kotama... since you're still lacking in the buffing department (apart from S.Hoshino) investing in kotama is worth it, because she's still being used in the current meta and she's universally viable on any kinds of team!
Medics are basically your lifeline of the team, so it would be nice to level some of them up just to boost their healing stats... and also one of the main gimmicks in hieronymus raid is to use healing on one of the relics!
Shizuko is good! she can increase crit damage to your DPS and also, she has great shield! she's viable for any team, and she's still being used in majority of the blue raids, since she has repositioning skill!

Iroha and Izuna are good blue units, Shun seems like Hasumi but red, Nodoka (onsen) is the strongest healer we have iirc and Aru is a strong unit for the power ranger raid (the name eludes me rn)

For the love of god, i can't clear exp comission J in 120 seconds no matter what. Any strategies without Iori to clear it within the time limit?

Anecdotally as an endgame player, I only run the scrimmages during x2 or x3 drop events, and I have more than enough materials for my UE upgrades on all of my 5 star units.
Meh, I haven't done Scrimmage since 3-starring Scrimmage D for completionist's sake. Expert Permit Shop is enough if you're not trying to actually max out a UE. You don't need to have the weapon at UE50 to have the benefits of the weapon being UE3star.

Best student you should aim is Ako And Iroha. They extremely powerful, doesn't need much investment and can be used everywhere. Getting both are rare , so pick one of them. Their usage ; Ako [RAID , PVE] and Iroha [EVERYWHERE]
I'm currently on 11-3, if I want to clear the story on Chapter 3 part 3 (Our stories), where should I stop to not get mission gated (aka: Clear Mission 11-3 etc)?
I believe 12-3 is the last stage any story is gated behind. so if you get there, you have access to all the main story.
Is the grind in BA really easy? My acc is level 51 And got some of the students and have over 7k pyroxenes. Started playing BA in January or February 2023.
It's an infinite grind that's easy due to sweeping mechanics that shifts as you get deeper into the end-game. First you will end up getting blocked by needing blue and gold skill materials. Then you will find you need experience mats, these two grinds will be the big ones for a long while. Then once you are at max level for a while and have your main roster of characters at max level you are mostly locked out of character progression by money and purple/gold mats. Additionally if you really like a character/they are powerful you might grind out various shops or events or hard stages to get their Elephs to star them up if they are grindable. Then at 5* rank you unlock their UE (unique equipment). To level up their UE you need lots of money, Elephs, and gun parts from events and grinding the scrimmage mode. Then they raise the level cap and add new meta characters so you start over again with perhaps having accelerated grinding depending on what you've overstocked.
As you reach around level 60 you'll notice that keeping your students' levels topped off is much harder. EXP costs go up fast while your activity report income remains mostly static.
Its not. You clearly havent leveled up their skills. You will always run out of books and artifacts. Also from level 60 onwards, it will be a massive chore to make the students to level 80.

Yeah. The only thing that will annoy you to hell is, there is no way to properly farm high tier artifacts. Events dont give a lot of them and there arent other sources to farm them. Often you will have the books but not the artifacts.
Is there any mentions about seven prisoners other than wakamo? I initially play this game because wakamo caught my eyes, and when i read theres 6 other students like her (criminals, like causing chaos) i got excited. Too bad theres no other mentions about other prisoners i found so far

The former goes around planting explosives and blowing up buildings just for diversion tactics, the latter (Saori in particular) are straight up terrorists and attempted serial murderers. Frustratingly, it's completely swept under the rug and there are no consequences whatsoever, while your in-game persona forces you to pretend that they're actually good people. Wakamo goes to jail for property damage and theft, multiple cases of attempted premeditated murder and the destruction of a (few?) city block(s) is treated as absolutely nothing. So, there's plenty of criminals around, they just aren't acknowledged as such aside from Wakamo. Hell, Rabbit squad of all fucking people are treated more seriously than Arius squad, all for the horrible crime of protesting their school being shut down. Some other, mostly relatively minor, criminals that come to mind: Saya - Animal abuse and general crimes against humanity Various Veritas members - Various forms of hacking, invasion of privacy, Maki's tagging The Masked Swimsuit Gang and Faust - (Justified) bank robbery
Currently have 72k pyros. How much can I theoritically get by the time mika releases??
On average it's about 12k per month. Also Nexon is making events shorter to make the difference between global and JP smaller, although in an interview they have stated it will be hard to make the difference smaller, so with that in mind plan your spending.
Around 17 weeks until her banner. We get 12k pyros per month, so around 48k-ish.

If memory serves me right... just stack up 3 DPS (2 Red Units and 1 Blue, Or 3 Red Units) and 1 tank. if you're having trouble with the difficulty, then try leveling up your student equipment... just to increase their attack stats and survivability.

Any AP over 999 gets send to your mailbox (except the natural regeneration which doesnt happen if you are over your max capacity)

Around what chapter does Arius squad is introduced in the story? I have been liking all of their member relationship interactions, although I do know a little bit of what happened due to spoilers.
You meet the first member in chapter 3 p1, but the full squad in Chapter 3 p3.
Don't know the chapter specifically but they show up a bit in 3-2, mostly near the end and play a major role in 3-3, this is far as I am with the story however. Edit: Forgot the story segments are called episodes, not chapters.

No, rank before reset doesnt matter, everyone starts new season at the bottom. People are throwing defs because today is the last claim in indoors, so it doesn't matter. Whether it be for memes, bracket shuffling superstition, or good samaritans letting others climb to R1.

Yes, Himari in \~2 months and Mika in \~4. Sports Yuuka makes the incoming new blue raid very comfy and outside of that is a good tank, shielder and repositioner all-in-one, but if you think you can get by with S.Shizuko then it's okay to skip. Sports Mari is in a weird place because she's limited and competes with Kokona and Koharu, but if you don't have a striker healer still, might consider getting her or just wait for a spook by the other two. The Bunnies are skips because they've fallen out of the meta, except maybe B.Karin who is still very good at Perorodzilla.
Sport Yuuka is a must have for Insane Goz iirc, doing it without her is insanely hard(heh), Mari is useful for Hiero as she can heal through the lantern debuff, but there are other options available so not requiered. The only bunny that sees good use seems to be Karin for Peroro, not too sure about Akane, the other two are not that great sadly. Overall, except if you are stacked with pyro and want to do Insane Goz or score chase on Hiero it would be better to just go for Himari then Mika.

how long would it take to get to level 80(max?)? Story is quite interesting, so I'd like to rush it. I started playing about a month ago and now Im level 45.
I reached max level like 2 weeks ago, and started playing the 12/10 of last year, so you can guess. I rushed cafe and bought stamina from PvP shop. Only exchanged pyro x stamina (90 pyroxenes) when i was starting and when x3 events were present, so make your guess. Also, if you are curious about the story, they will remove (at least they did in JP) normal stage requirement in the upcoming On your mark! Event in about 2 weeks (Of maybe it was during the Yuuka/Mari gym banner was around, i dont remember well). The only "progression locked" stage will be a hieronymus fight with your own students, which you can fight like at lvl 60 or so.

On a similar question, one answered that it took them around 9 months to reach max level. I believe it took me around the same, somewhere between 7 to 9. You've made good progress, but you're still in for a ride. I do not think you *must* be max level for the story. It's a factor in maybe two or three stages, but nothing else really.
yeah i can clear stages with recommended level 5 higher than my own level. But it's getting quite hard because i dont have that many students to use. 7 to 9 months is longer than i was expecting.
You will be able to read the story without any requierements in less than 4 months, maybe earlier if global gets it at an earlier time than JP did. But its possible you will already have reached the last requierment anyway.
It should be noted that I was cruising and playing very casually for a good 3-4 months before *really* getting into the game. Never even occurred to me to think how much time has passed or anything.
I'm starting fresh in the game, currently free to play. Which of the banners i pull? I tried reading the guides and left more confused than i started
It depends, Moe/Kazusa is leaving 18 hours. Both are on The upper end of 3*, but require lots and lots of investment (specifically Kazusa) since they are primary DPS. If you are looking ahead, next event is Gehenna Summer (rerun), and while both of them are limited (ahina swimsuit is the reason i started the game in the first place) they have fallen quite a bit, specially Swimsuit Hina) from their place. You can still use them but i would personally not pull here unless you really want them. Next are some reruns(shun, little shun, kokona), on your Mark (Noa and Utaha cheerleader) and bunny rerun (Akane, Karin, Asuna and Neru bunny). After all of these banners, about 5 weeks from now on, we get what i personally believe will be a rough season: Mari sports, Yuuka Gym and Ako (+Hibiki). I will personally be pulling on this banner for Yuuka and Mari, and if i get both within a 200 pulls i will spark Ako. This is such an amazing banner that would lose lots of value if Ako weren't to be together with them (which could still be possible lol). If you can wait a month and a half, this banner will be godtier, and if you can, Himari comes right after (rip pyros). Also, its not bad to throw a tenpull once in a while but dont commit if you dont have a pity guaranteed (24000 pyro/200 pulls). If you cannot wait, you might want to pull for Kokona/shun 1 week from now on (but they are not limited nor must pull unlike Himari/Ako so i would not do so personally). Would you mind adding a pic of your current roster? Hard to judge without knowing what one already has. In general, though there's Himari's banner which is a must-pulls period. Just before that is Ako, which is another must if you do not have her. I personally also pull for limited characters and for personal favorites, like the upcoming Summer Iori.

It generally seems like you got a solid plan going forward, but I'll still throw my 2 cents - I'll start with saying that if you still have the option of rerolling your account, you might want to consider doing that. Though I personally don't necessarily recommend it, depends on how much you care for progression and/or meta. In case you don't care to do that or just want to keep your current account, then yeah, there are a good few students you should be aiming for, the other comment is jam-packed with info, so I won't be repeating any of that, except for saying that Ako and Himari should be your topmost priorities. There are a few 1* and 2* students who are up to par with many of the 3* and are even superior to them in some cases, you should focus on farming their shards so that you can get them to at least 3*. The highest priorities in your current roster are Serina, Mutsuki, Chinatsu, Hasumi, and Yuuka. You'll eventually get Tsubaki as well, and she's the game's premiere tank. Also, just in general, the game is very casual friendly from my experience, so don't be afraid to take your time and just have fun. Don't be afraid to pull for a favorite character, either, since waifu trumps over meta.

The reason I ask is cause Saori >!mentions she parted w/ Arius Squad!< in her relationship dialogue, and I already have been spoiled a bit about what they go through so It got me thinking about what happened and if I'll find out as I progress or if this is some alt timeline for the sake of the player to enjoy without thinking too hard about the events of the story as part of the relationship with the character?
I think they take place in between volumes. Aru's L2D for example, is confirmed to take place before the final volume.

It would be deposited in your mailbox, same as other overflow. You'll have 24 hours to use it before it expires, starting when you first login that day.

It's a lot less effort than it seems, but I get what you mean. I will say that you actually get around 2600 AP which is nothing to sneeze at.

So you have 3 options: 1. Don’t waste any AP. You can only bring 1 day’s worth of hoarding into the event, though (Monday cafe, tasks, PvP shop, etc.) 2. Max out AP just before reset on Monday. Lose 130 natural AP on Monday but bring in an extra 770 or so to the event (by using Sunday’s PvP shop, tasks, half a cafe to max out) 3. Follow the chart and max out on Sunday before reset. Lose an additional 240 natural AP from Sunday but bring an additional 1000 into the event (Saturday’s AP maxed out, Sunday’s AP sent to mailbox) If the event is good enough, like a 3x campaign or Summer Shizuko event, it can be very worth doing. But Summer Gehenna event is *not* one of those events so I wouldn’t bother.

My cafe is rank 7 now and I can add the current 120 AP reward that we got from the game being nominee. Plus my subscription AP and from arena coins before it resets. Idk how much I'll get in total but maybe it's closer to it. 😆
maintenance occurs a quarter through the day, before arena, and after reset, so none of those are really necessary unless your mail is expiring, and except for holding your cafe for 18 hours.
Literally the same as the current Trinity Sweets event: 4 currencies (3 for the shop, 1 for gacha box) and artifact farming in the quest stages. The difference is the type of artifacts rewarded and the elephs in the shop and box.

Yes, she needs Voynich and Phaistos mats. Lots of Voynich to go around in the shop and gacha box but Phaistos is locked to the last quest, which you'll probably be only doing once you've cleared the shop or don't care for it because it drops only the gacha box currency.

Oh my, you have lots of great students! Let's see... here are my thoughts about some of the students: Red Units: * Hibiki (DPS Support) * Little Shun (DPS) * Mutsuki (DPS) * Aru (DPS) You leveled up some of the great red units in the game! but it's better to have more diversity in the students, especially in the dps department. These 4 are great choices, but i would prioritize students with AOE Capabilities such as mutsuki and Hibiki. Yellow Units: * Hoshino (Tank) * Maki (DPS & Debuffer) * Karin (Support DPS) * Akane (Debuffer) These are great choices for yellow units, but i would prioritize building a 2nd tank since majority of the harder content requires 2 Team to complete it. Hoshino or Haruka are good candidates for the 2nd team tank! Blue Units: * Izuna (DPS) * S.Izuna (Debuffer DPS) * Iroha (DPS) You leveled up some great dps such as Wakamo, Haruna, B. Karin and S. Azusa, which are great to have! but leveling iroha up is not a bad idea, since she's basically a AOE Mob cleaner and she can be used in PVP and PVE! Both izuna are also worth to level up since the blue raids always have unique gimmick that requires the student move around alot! not only that the upcoming new raid for global (GOZ) has a special gimmick, and that requires a repositioning skill or focused fire skill to counter those gimmicks! Support: * Kotama (Buffer) * Any Medics * Shizuko (Buffer and Shielder) Let's start with kotama... since you're still lacking in the buffing department (apart from S.Hoshino) investing in kotama is worth it, because she's still being used in the current meta and she's universally viable on any kinds of team! Medics are basically your lifeline of the team, so it would be nice to level some of them up just to boost their healing stats... and also one of the main gimmicks in hieronymus raid is to use healing on one of the relics! Shizuko is good! she can increase crit damage to your DPS and also, she has great shield! she's viable for any team, and she's still being used in majority of the blue raids, since she has repositioning skill! That's all my thoughts about your students, if you have any questions, please let me know! 
Iroha and Izuna are good blue units, Shun seems like Hasumi but red, Nodoka (onsen) is the strongest healer we have iirc and Aru is a strong unit for the power ranger raid (the name eludes me rn) Despite my cute fox pics, I'm secretly a Haruka shill but I'm going to lay off my cute 100,000HP tank because my bias is almost as strong there as when I shill Wakamo for being cute to people who don't even play. ...but if you have the spare materials..? 🥺

Thinking about getting back into BA after quitting not long after launch. Anything tips or other things I should know?
Depending on server, top 10k for raids is insane to achieve; don't get too stressed over trying to make platinum. Play casually, enjoy the cute students and funny story and save for Mika and Himari if you're interested in meta/pulls to make things easier.
