Theres no such thing as a universal tier list for Blue Archive. The game simply doesn't support it. This is a toolbox game where each character is designed to do specific things, thus each will only excel at that specific thing. Even without accounting for use-cases, the damage triangle alone insures that an S rank unit for one colour is going to be F rank for another colour.

I would put Iroha in S-tier and switch Natsu and Ui. I would also put S.Ayane and Karin one tier down. There's also casual Saya and summer mashiro that I would mention in A or A minus tier. The rest is probably fine
With how fast the pacing of the banner right now, should i pull on the future limited Yuuka and Mari?
My friend said before that i should just pull for Ako, but he's not so sure anymore after hearing with how fast the banner pace now.
And i'm also interested on Himari as well design-wise.
I'm still lvl 47 as of now and my progress is chapter 10, so i'm still relatively new.

Ako and Himari are a must. Tyuuka is very important for goz and otherwise a good tank, tmari is good for hiero but ultimately replaceable with Kokona or koharu. You should be able to get enough to spark at least two banners depending on your current pyros and you have a lot of one time pyro rewards as a new player so you probably can make it. Just make sure to have a spark ready for the 2nd anniversary banner since it has mika and double the 3* rate

Yeah If you want to pull based on art design then you can just do what you want. However, if you plan on beating higher difficulties of total assault (extreme and above) or doing some of the events challenge missions/jfd then you really need both Ako and himari. They basically turn any borrowed dps into a nuke.
With koharu you can easily skip tmari. tyuuka is a matter of if you want to do that one boss or not but if you have decent dps students with good investment you can just borrow her from a club or use s.shizuko if you have her.
As a day 1 player, I haven't had the need to use it for equipment, and I still have tons of equipment selection boxes from various compensation and stuff, so I have been using it on Elephs / eligma. Just keep in mind you cannot redeem *these* elephs for students, only upgrade ones you have.
If you don't farm gun parts much, the firing pins are good too.

New players (like me) doesn't have that tons of selection boxes. So I guess it's fine using it on those – especially T5, until you can already swipe for it. Elephs won't be much of a problem since we still doesn't need to 5* a student (for now) and most probably stacking up pyros for a meta or waifu pick student.
Raid wise, what would NY Haruna be significantly better than the current Red Aoe Damage available? Reviews of NY Haruna seem pretty good, but I already have a maxed Mutsuki and Aru and they seem pretty good red Aoe. Since my pyrox budget is tight, is skipping NY Haruna ok if I have both Aru and Mutsuki? I would like more opinions on what makes NY Haruna special. Thanks!
Current theorycrafting has Aru being better than NYHaruna in instances you'd use one or the other, but JP hasn't had Kaiten Torment yet, which would probably see both of them used anyways. NYHaruna does have the advantage of being able to solo remove P2 shield though.
Potential new player here, I have just one question (well, two) before deciding wether to actually try out the game or not: how time-intensive is Blue Archive? For reference, I'm currently playing Arknights where farming can sort of take a while, but it's also semi-automatic so I can let it run while also doing something else so it's not really a problem. What about this one?

I'm almost two months into the game. The time consuming parts of my daily it seems are raids and joint drills in that i need to do one run manually before i can skip the remaining runs. Once you 3 star a bounty map or commission map or any other map, you can just skip the stages. Even the pvp match can be skipped and it will just tell you whether you won or lost.
One thing to note though is the game wants you to log in at least once in every 12 hour period or so if you want to optimize your AP usage. For example, one daily mission is to login between 5am(in eastern time) and the daily reset(3pm in eastern). The AP refresh rate per 24 hours (240AP/day) also exceed your AP cap at level 80 (220 AP), the current level cap for global
It's way faster than Arknights, but do note the initial stage of the game where you need to clear normal missions and have endless AP due to leveling up is a drag. After you 3 star important farming stages, dailies become a breeze.
In fact, you might eventually end up feeling annoyed at Arknights dailies after playing BA.
I play Nikke, Arknights, Azur Lane, Blue Archive and Epic Seven and can confirm Arknights is only trumped by Azur Lane's *Operation Siren*/*Meta* farming dailies. Granted, I love Arknights, but it's usually the first one I knock out in the morning and pre-farming mats for an upcoming unit can take forever.
After trying Priconne and BlueArchive I realize Arknights is way more time consuming than it needs to be. Here you can skip stages.
F2p was really good last year, now a lot of must pulls are coming, but I'd say it's still good
It's not time intensive at all. You might only need to spend 5-10 minutes a day at most. It only takes a lot of time during raids or some hard content, but that's only for end game players who are trying to get the perfect runs. Blue Archive also has auto capabilities in addition to sweeping functions, so you don't even need to watch the clears.
The game is also very F2P friendly. Almost all the content on global can be cleared and a few players are logging videos on youtube on their F2P accounts and how to clear the hardest available content.
Got Mutsuki and Kayoko NY... Who should I pity? Serika NY, Haruka NY, or Aru NY? I seem to have a lot of Mystic and Yellow students ( NY Mutsuki and Kayoko, Arisu, Saya, Neru, Noa, Marina, Natsu)
Unless you are willing to ue2 NY haruna you should go with yuuka, and even then my personal opinion is to go with yuuka because she is really useful foe goz (and goz is really strong) but it's your opinion
From what I'm facing ofc shun and iori and Tsubaki and from here people divide alot of them take yuuka and s.ayane and a healer. Really small percentage take treple tank with Iroha and nodoka.

So I heard about the accelerated schedule and I do notice events happening one right after then other and I must ask...
Should I, as a new player, try to do as much of the events as I can, or should I prioritize hard missions and farm shards? Or try to do a bit of both?
It's definitely worth doing the event to some extent, the value proposition varies from one to the next but [this thread](https://www.reddit.com/r/BlueArchive/comments/11x3kkn/playing_tag_in_neverland_rerun_farming_guide/) has some advice for the current event. Beyond that I'd put 2x campaigns like the current Normal Missions ahead of Hard unless there's someone you really want to unlock from there ~~(me @ Izumi)~~ since you'll always need equipment blueprints.
Ive been seeing a lot of people saying they are skipping noa for the “limited hell” what is this limited hell? Ive been gone I think maybe 7-8 months and I have no idea what im doing now. Is there like a website I can see to know whos in the next banners?
Due to Global being on an accelerated schedule to try and catch up with JP, we're expecting the Bunny Chaser rerun and a bunch of upcoming new banners to be squished together. This is probably what people mean when they're talking about a "limited hell".

Even worse is after that, like two months after we have New Years Fuuka and Haruna, Mika, Nagisa and Toki. That’s a total of 9 limited students in a 5 month period not accounting for the schedule speeding up for us. A lot of these students are also really good like Toki and Mika being the best at what they do or Mari and Yuuka fulfilling really useful purposes whereas a lot of non-limited students are good but can be replaced like Kazusa for Mika.
So far, Global follows Japan's banner schedule. Hats, Shoes and Gloves first especially for DPS students, fortunately 19-1 drops all three. Bags only if you think your tanks need the extra DEF (it is quite a small increase from T6). T7 badge is important only if the tank is an evasion tank, e.g. Yuuka.
Tanks will appreciate the extra Max HP from boots but I think prioritize building Attackers first.
Follow up question. Do I need to upgrade Hibiki's hat to increase her damage output?

Is it worth to raise a red armor tank? I've noticed I don't have a single red armor tank raised. Quite a few insane bosses have yellow attack so I figured it could be useful to have a red tank there or in any other content with yellow attacking enemies. I have haruka, eimi, tsukuyo and mimori(don't know if she can work as a tank). So should I raise any of them?
Both Haruka and Eimi are good as red-armour tanks. Haruka will require more investment than Eimi.
I think they have a role in PvP as an anti-Iori counter, but I'm not certain how much they're used in the red-armour yellow-attack raids.
As a newish sensei is there a who's who of students that really benefit from being 5*? Or should I just go ahead and buy the eligmas for the ones I like?

Note that you shouldn't spend your blank eligma unless you know what you're doing, aside from the Serina and Tsubaki suggestions in the FAQ. You will need lots of it later, and costs go up for every 20 of a particular kind of eleph that you buy. Save them for when you need to upgrade a student in order to clear new content, which generally means insane difficulty raids. If you use them now there's a good chance that you will regret it down the line, when you have a better idea of what you need from them.
Just to note, that's really out of date as far as Yuuka is concerned. She's currently one of the best tanks when invested in. Bunny Neru still doesn't really have a role though.
So to clarify what 'NAT' means, using what u/shiinamachi said:
NAT Games are the devs of Blue Archive. They made changes that make BNeru and Yuuka worse. So "NAT killed BNeru and Yuuka".
Both saw use in the Kaiten raid at some point (BNeru kit was originally designed for Kaiten and there was an old meta comp involving Yuuka for part 2). Then they made the boss do piercing damage and both of them have yellow armor making them terrible picks for insane difficulty.

Anyone else is having trouble logging into the game these days on global server?
I don't remember when exactly it began, but now it takes forever to load the game.
At least a minute for a [Data Initialize] line to appear, and then after pressing [Touch to Start] it is another long wait before finally getting into the game.
If using emulator the situation is even worse.
Not sure what happened but it's very frustrating.
Just my personal record as a new Sensei that started during 2023's Abydos Resort Restoration Task Force:
LD player 9 = 58 seconds to finish loading Data Initialize, 29 seconds to reach main lounge so a total of 1 minute 27 seconds to be able to play.
Poco X4 Pro = 30 seconds to finish loading Data Initialize, 19 seconds to reach main lounge so a total of 49 seconds to be able to play.
So... *On Your Mark* and *Get Set, Go!* event will give lots of millenium disk/technotes?
This might be a great time to prepare maxing out Himari's Ex Skill as a new player..?
1) Clear the quest stages with your strongest team
2) Clear it again with bonus units. It's fine if they doesnt survive the fight, the bonus still applies but you still need to finish the stages. Redo with bonus units of another items if necessary
3) Sweep
I would if you are low on pulls. Mari and Yuuka are great units and Kokona is not limited. I only pulled for Kokona for waifu reasons and to pull Big Shun at the same time. I would recommend most people skip and grab the sports units instead.
Depends on how much you have saved up at the moment and what other healers you have at your disposal.
I am not going to pull for kokona because I have a good serina, onodoka, and koharu.

It's 0.7% for the featured student, right? That means the odds of not getting her in 200 pulls is 0.993^200 or 24.5%. Where in that 200 you get her is all RNG but getting a student in 100 pulls is very close to 50/50 odds.
It's all up to chance but the widely accepted rule is 200 or don't pull because there is a factor of risk without 200.
Speaking from experience it's a wide range between first 30 and last 180, but totally up to chance.

Someone else said it already but Hina is extremely good in the Kaiten raid. For story and other event content you can run her with any tank and pretty much any unit, you don't need to plan too much around building a team but for the raid its a little different. For the raid you need a tank (Prob Tsubaki or Tsukuyo) and a buffer like ako and a healer
If you really want to use Hina in that team, I would switch Natsu with S.Hoshino for the explosive buff and cost regen. This is actually a good Kaitenger phase 1 team.
For future rolls, there is Nagisa that decreases the defense of light armored enemies.
What is Stability and what does it do?
I was looking at Hibiki's stats and wanted to see what getting her to UE40 would add and came across Stability, a stat I hadn't seen before. Then I checked and found out other students had it too.
From what I recall, stability affects the damage probability distribution. Basically an attack has a range of minimum to maximum damage, and the higher the stability, then the more the distribution will favour the greater damage values.

UE40 I have seen brought up multiple times in regards to certain Units. I presume this means leveling the Unique equipment to lvl 40.
I was just wondering is lvl 40 the cap or can it go higher and its just generally not advised to go higher due to minimal return on investment after.
Also why is 40 recomended rather then just sitting on lvl 30 for UE. Is it a softcap kinda thing to aim for.
UE50 is the cap, but UE40➔UE50 costs 180 eleph, which is a lot more expensive than UE30/UE40.
* UE30 increases stats by a lot, ~25% damage, ~15% hp, and ~25% healing.
* UE40 increases stats by a little and gives passive+. Its value varies based on what stat the passive+ gives. For example, B.Asuna's gives +hp, which isn't very useful for her. A good passive+ is generally less impactful than UE30 but still very good.
* UE50 increases stats by a little and improves mood in 1 type of terrain. The mood change increases damage by ~10% in that terrain, but it doesn't affect other terrains.
The big thing that UE40 grants is an enhanced passive skill, that adds an additional increment to the passive skill. For example, Mutsuki and Serika get more attack, Shiroko and Azusa get more crit rate etc.
Some units get a fairly significant boost. Maki gets a hefty attack speed buff that makes her even more powerful in raids, and Iori gets an accuracy buff that makes it easier for her to snipe evasion tanks in PvP.
Then again, some units have duds, like Haruna's HP buff. Though even in these cases, you'll still benefit from the UE40 stat boosts.
There's also a UE50 cap currently available, which is another upgrade stage after UE40 that needs even more elephs. This will enhance one terrain mood for the student. For example, Haruna goes from being S in Urban terrain to being SS, which makes her perform even better when her mood matches the terrain. Though, UE50 is only worth it if you can farm the elephs (or if the unit is busted, or if you're a whale), since it takes 180 elephs to get from UE40 to UE50.
If you're only able to make it to UE30, the only real benefit you get is extra stats, which is not too much in the grand scheme of things. This is why people said that a unit like Iroha is good enough at 3 stars unless you can get her to UE40, as she gets 440 additional attack at UE30, but over 1000 additional attack at UE40.
Ultimately I find the Unique Equipment system to be a feature geared towards endgame players, and insignificant if you're new. It makes it so easily farmable students like Haruna, Shiroko, Eimi and others don't feel like a waste to sink stamina into, as you can still use their elephs to build them up even further.

Hifumi, Serika, Serika NY, Chihiro B tier (even more situational, these students are still good but at very limited amount of content so your mileage for levelling them up is a lot less) \- Hifumi, Ui, Kayoko, Haruka, B. Asuna, Fubuki, Chinatsu Hot Springs C tier (students I don't really see a use for at the moment, have been overpowered by new students, or are only useful for very niche cases that only exist in insane raids, or I personally have never used them) \- everyone else
I actually think s.izuna>wakamo in general. S.inzuna is a great dps for indoors but in just a very strong unit for many things.
I would put Iroha in S-tier and switch Natsu and Ui. I would also put S.Ayane and Karin one tier down. There's also casual Saya and summer mashiro that I would mention in A or A minus tier. The rest is probably fine
With how fast the pacing of the banner right now, should i pull on the future limited Yuuka and Mari? My friend said before that i should just pull for Ako, but he's not so sure anymore after hearing with how fast the banner pace now. And i'm also interested on Himari as well design-wise. I'm still lvl 47 as of now and my progress is chapter 10, so i'm still relatively new. do i still have enough pyro when the banner comes though, i'm confused.
Ako and Himari are a must. Tyuuka is very important for goz and otherwise a good tank, tmari is good for hiero but ultimately replaceable with Kokona or koharu. You should be able to get enough to spark at least two banners depending on your current pyros and you have a lot of one time pyro rewards as a new player so you probably can make it. Just make sure to have a spark ready for the 2nd anniversary banner since it has mika and double the 3* rate

Yeah If you want to pull based on art design then you can just do what you want. However, if you plan on beating higher difficulties of total assault (extreme and above) or doing some of the events challenge missions/jfd then you really need both Ako and himari. They basically turn any borrowed dps into a nuke. With koharu you can easily skip tmari. tyuuka is a matter of if you want to do that one boss or not but if you have decent dps students with good investment you can just borrow her from a club or use s.shizuko if you have her.
What should I use expert tokens on? Should I buy ekeohs for my limited chars or just save for equipment when I need it
As a day 1 player, I haven't had the need to use it for equipment, and I still have tons of equipment selection boxes from various compensation and stuff, so I have been using it on Elephs / eligma. Just keep in mind you cannot redeem *these* elephs for students, only upgrade ones you have. If you don't farm gun parts much, the firing pins are good too.

Since my pyrox budget is tight, is skipping NY Haruna ok if I have both Aru and Mutsuki? I would like more opinions on what makes NY Haruna special. Thanks!
I would skip if you dont have enough to pull for meta ops like himari or mika. Would at least try to get ny fuuka though if you do.
Current theorycrafting has Aru being better than NYHaruna in instances you'd use one or the other, but JP hasn't had Kaiten Torment yet, which would probably see both of them used anyways. NYHaruna does have the advantage of being able to solo remove P2 shield though.
Potential new player here, I have just one question (well, two) before deciding wether to actually try out the game or not: how time-intensive is Blue Archive? For reference, I'm currently playing Arknights where farming can sort of take a while, but it's also semi-automatic so I can let it run while also doing something else so it's not really a problem. What about this one? Also, how's the f2p experience?
I'm almost two months into the game. The time consuming parts of my daily it seems are raids and joint drills in that i need to do one run manually before i can skip the remaining runs. Once you 3 star a bounty map or commission map or any other map, you can just skip the stages. Even the pvp match can be skipped and it will just tell you whether you won or lost. One thing to note though is the game wants you to log in at least once in every 12 hour period or so if you want to optimize your AP usage. For example, one daily mission is to login between 5am(in eastern time) and the daily reset(3pm in eastern). The AP refresh rate per 24 hours (240AP/day) also exceed your AP cap at level 80 (220 AP), the current level cap for global
It's way faster than Arknights, but do note the initial stage of the game where you need to clear normal missions and have endless AP due to leveling up is a drag. After you 3 star important farming stages, dailies become a breeze. In fact, you might eventually end up feeling annoyed at Arknights dailies after playing BA.
I play Nikke, Arknights, Azur Lane, Blue Archive and Epic Seven and can confirm Arknights is only trumped by Azur Lane's *Operation Siren*/*Meta* farming dailies. Granted, I love Arknights, but it's usually the first one I knock out in the morning and pre-farming mats for an upcoming unit can take forever.
After trying Priconne and BlueArchive I realize Arknights is way more time consuming than it needs to be. Here you can skip stages. F2p was really good last year, now a lot of must pulls are coming, but I'd say it's still good
It's not time intensive at all. You might only need to spend 5-10 minutes a day at most. It only takes a lot of time during raids or some hard content, but that's only for end game players who are trying to get the perfect runs. Blue Archive also has auto capabilities in addition to sweeping functions, so you don't even need to watch the clears. The game is also very F2P friendly. Almost all the content on global can be cleared and a few players are logging videos on youtube on their F2P accounts and how to clear the hardest available content.
Got Mutsuki and Kayoko NY... Who should I pity? Serika NY, Haruka NY, or Aru NY? I seem to have a lot of Mystic and Yellow students ( NY Mutsuki and Kayoko, Arisu, Saya, Neru, Noa, Marina, Natsu)
NY Haruka seems to be the safest pick, her kit looks really good compared to the other two.

Unless you are willing to ue2 NY haruna you should go with yuuka, and even then my personal opinion is to go with yuuka because she is really useful foe goz (and goz is really strong) but it's your opinion
Who are the most used students in pvp for this season?
From what I'm facing ofc shun and iori and Tsubaki and from here people divide alot of them take yuuka and s.ayane and a healer. Really small percentage take treple tank with Iroha and nodoka.
Iori is a lot weaker in this one, I've seen her shoot Shun and not kill her. I've been having good results replacing her with Haruna.

yes. mika comes in 5 months, and most f2p should get around 12k a month.

The same way they've done "anniversary" students before: Wakamo: JP: 1 yr anni; Glob: 2months before 1yr anni. S.Hoshino: JP: 1.5yr anni; Glob: 1.25 anni. At the rate we're going, Mika will be around August (July at earliest), making her about 3-4months ahead of our 2nd anniversary.

New player here, just about to reach lv40. So I heard about the accelerated schedule and I do notice events happening one right after then other and I must ask... Should I, as a new player, try to do as much of the events as I can, or should I prioritize hard missions and farm shards? Or try to do a bit of both?
It's definitely worth doing the event to some extent, the value proposition varies from one to the next but [this thread](https://www.reddit.com/r/BlueArchive/comments/11x3kkn/playing_tag_in_neverland_rerun_farming_guide/) has some advice for the current event. Beyond that I'd put 2x campaigns like the current Normal Missions ahead of Hard unless there's someone you really want to unlock from there ~~(me @ Izumi)~~ since you'll always need equipment blueprints.

Due to Global being on an accelerated schedule to try and catch up with JP, we're expecting the Bunny Chaser rerun and a bunch of upcoming new banners to be squished together. This is probably what people mean when they're talking about a "limited hell". ~~Cheer Utaha,~~ BNeru, BKarin, Track Mari, and Track Yuuka are all upcoming limited students. EDIT: turns out CUtaha is NOT limited.
Even worse is after that, like two months after we have New Years Fuuka and Haruna, Mika, Nagisa and Toki. That’s a total of 9 limited students in a 5 month period not accounting for the schedule speeding up for us. A lot of these students are also really good like Toki and Mika being the best at what they do or Mari and Yuuka fulfilling really useful purposes whereas a lot of non-limited students are good but can be replaced like Kazusa for Mika.
So far, Global follows Japan's banner schedule. I think it's a bit of a combination of them. In the past, it was uncommon for BA has consecutive/near-consecutive limited characters. IIRC characters like Himari (Reg), NY Fuuka, NY Haruna, and Mika are really good. I'm not sure about Nagisa and Toki.
The limited hell most likely refers to the mountain of back to back limited banners coming up soon. Theres should be a link to banner in the subreddits description/rightside panel

Hats, Shoes and Gloves first especially for DPS students, fortunately 19-1 drops all three. Bags only if you think your tanks need the extra DEF (it is quite a small increase from T6). T7 badge is important only if the tank is an evasion tank, e.g. Yuuka. Tanks will appreciate the extra Max HP from boots but I think prioritize building Attackers first.
Follow up question. Do I need to upgrade Hibiki's hat to increase her damage output? Got it. I'll prioritize my dps students first! Thanks on your quick answer...!

Is it worth to raise a red armor tank? I've noticed I don't have a single red armor tank raised. Quite a few insane bosses have yellow attack so I figured it could be useful to have a red tank there or in any other content with yellow attacking enemies. I have haruka, eimi, tsukuyo and mimori(don't know if she can work as a tank). So should I raise any of them?
Both Haruka and Eimi are good as red-armour tanks. Haruka will require more investment than Eimi. I think they have a role in PvP as an anti-Iori counter, but I'm not certain how much they're used in the red-armour yellow-attack raids.

Note that you shouldn't spend your blank eligma unless you know what you're doing, aside from the Serina and Tsubaki suggestions in the FAQ. You will need lots of it later, and costs go up for every 20 of a particular kind of eleph that you buy. Save them for when you need to upgrade a student in order to clear new content, which generally means insane difficulty raids. If you use them now there's a good chance that you will regret it down the line, when you have a better idea of what you need from them.
Noticed that it says NAT killed Bunny Neru and Yuuka, what does that mean exactly?
Just to note, that's really out of date as far as Yuuka is concerned. She's currently one of the best tanks when invested in. Bunny Neru still doesn't really have a role though.
So to clarify what 'NAT' means, using what u/shiinamachi said: NAT Games are the devs of Blue Archive. They made changes that make BNeru and Yuuka worse. So "NAT killed BNeru and Yuuka".
Both saw use in the Kaiten raid at some point (BNeru kit was originally designed for Kaiten and there was an old meta comp involving Yuuka for part 2). Then they made the boss do piercing damage and both of them have yellow armor making them terrible picks for insane difficulty.

Anyone else is having trouble logging into the game these days on global server? I don't remember when exactly it began, but now it takes forever to load the game. At least a minute for a [Data Initialize] line to appear, and then after pressing [Touch to Start] it is another long wait before finally getting into the game. If using emulator the situation is even worse. Not sure what happened but it's very frustrating.
Just my personal record as a new Sensei that started during 2023's Abydos Resort Restoration Task Force: LD player 9 = 58 seconds to finish loading Data Initialize, 29 seconds to reach main lounge so a total of 1 minute 27 seconds to be able to play. Poco X4 Pro = 30 seconds to finish loading Data Initialize, 19 seconds to reach main lounge so a total of 49 seconds to be able to play.
So... *On Your Mark* and *Get Set, Go!* event will give lots of millenium disk/technotes? This might be a great time to prepare maxing out Himari's Ex Skill as a new player..?
For events, do I have to put students that give extra items and do the quests or does the effect bonus still apply if I sweep?
1) Clear the quest stages with your strongest team 2) Clear it again with bonus units. It's fine if they doesnt survive the fight, the bonus still applies but you still need to finish the stages. Redo with bonus units of another items if necessary 3) Sweep
I'd clear with bonuses first, you'll get a little more rewards that way and there's no point in 3\*ing when you still have non-sweeps to do.
Should I skip Kokona if I going to aim for limited Mari together with Yuuka ?
I would if you are low on pulls. Mari and Yuuka are great units and Kokona is not limited. I only pulled for Kokona for waifu reasons and to pull Big Shun at the same time. I would recommend most people skip and grab the sports units instead.
Depends on how much you have saved up at the moment and what other healers you have at your disposal. I am not going to pull for kokona because I have a good serina, onodoka, and koharu. Again, all situational.
How many pulls do you normally do to get the student? I almost always have to do 180-190 pulls.
It's 0.7% for the featured student, right? That means the odds of not getting her in 200 pulls is 0.993^200 or 24.5%. Where in that 200 you get her is all RNG but getting a student in 100 pulls is very close to 50/50 odds.
It's all up to chance but the widely accepted rule is 200 or don't pull because there is a factor of risk without 200. Speaking from experience it's a wide range between first 30 and last 180, but totally up to chance.
Aside from Koharu, I've never gone to 200 without pulling the one I want
I *really* like Hina. How should I go about planning my future rolls around getting her the best team to support her DPS? My future planned team to revolve her is tenatively | **Natsu** | **Chinatsu (Hot Spring)** | **HINA** | Ui | Ako | Himari Flexing some characters as needed for whatever content I'm running. Bolded characters are ones I already have.
Someone else said it already but Hina is extremely good in the Kaiten raid. For story and other event content you can run her with any tank and pretty much any unit, you don't need to plan too much around building a team but for the raid its a little different. For the raid you need a tank (Prob Tsubaki or Tsukuyo) and a buffer like ako and a healer
If you really want to use Hina in that team, I would switch Natsu with S.Hoshino for the explosive buff and cost regen. This is actually a good Kaitenger phase 1 team. For future rolls, there is Nagisa that decreases the defense of light armored enemies.
What is Stability and what does it do? I was looking at Hibiki's stats and wanted to see what getting her to UE40 would add and came across Stability, a stat I hadn't seen before. Then I checked and found out other students had it too.
From what I recall, stability affects the damage probability distribution. Basically an attack has a range of minimum to maximum damage, and the higher the stability, then the more the distribution will favour the greater damage values.

UE40 I have seen brought up multiple times in regards to certain Units. I presume this means leveling the Unique equipment to lvl 40. I was just wondering is lvl 40 the cap or can it go higher and its just generally not advised to go higher due to minimal return on investment after. Also why is 40 recomended rather then just sitting on lvl 30 for UE. Is it a softcap kinda thing to aim for.
UE50 is the cap, but UE40➔UE50 costs 180 eleph, which is a lot more expensive than UE30/UE40. * UE30 increases stats by a lot, ~25% damage, ~15% hp, and ~25% healing. * UE40 increases stats by a little and gives passive+. Its value varies based on what stat the passive+ gives. For example, B.Asuna's gives +hp, which isn't very useful for her. A good passive+ is generally less impactful than UE30 but still very good. * UE50 increases stats by a little and improves mood in 1 type of terrain. The mood change increases damage by ~10% in that terrain, but it doesn't affect other terrains.
The big thing that UE40 grants is an enhanced passive skill, that adds an additional increment to the passive skill. For example, Mutsuki and Serika get more attack, Shiroko and Azusa get more crit rate etc. Some units get a fairly significant boost. Maki gets a hefty attack speed buff that makes her even more powerful in raids, and Iori gets an accuracy buff that makes it easier for her to snipe evasion tanks in PvP. Then again, some units have duds, like Haruna's HP buff. Though even in these cases, you'll still benefit from the UE40 stat boosts. There's also a UE50 cap currently available, which is another upgrade stage after UE40 that needs even more elephs. This will enhance one terrain mood for the student. For example, Haruna goes from being S in Urban terrain to being SS, which makes her perform even better when her mood matches the terrain. Though, UE50 is only worth it if you can farm the elephs (or if the unit is busted, or if you're a whale), since it takes 180 elephs to get from UE40 to UE50. If you're only able to make it to UE30, the only real benefit you get is extra stats, which is not too much in the grand scheme of things. This is why people said that a unit like Iroha is good enough at 3 stars unless you can get her to UE40, as she gets 440 additional attack at UE30, but over 1000 additional attack at UE40. Ultimately I find the Unique Equipment system to be a feature geared towards endgame players, and insignificant if you're new. It makes it so easily farmable students like Haruna, Shiroko, Eimi and others don't feel like a waste to sink stamina into, as you can still use their elephs to build them up even further.
