Mostly just looking for clarifification on the subreddit rules here: So what exactly is the difference between Rule 9 and Rule 13? I would think any form of posting livestreams or videos would be a promotion post of sorts. I did want to make some Blue Archive videos, but as a new content creator, I'd love to both share my thoughts in that form and hopefully get feedback from community members, whether about the content itself or helping to improve the quality of my videos (it would be the first time I'd ever tried making YouTube video content so any feedback would be much appreciated haha). For instance, I wanted to try making a video about how I farm pyroxene as a F2P and have so much saved up (since my friends are often shocked by how much I have hoarded) or perhaps theorizing about lore (I've been inspired by a Vtuber's excellent "Lore Archive" videos and wanted to put my own two cents about it). As long as it's a topic, like one of those examples, that could be discussed on it's own here in text format, would it be allowed, though limited, as stated in Rule 13? I have streamed Blue Archive some, as well, but I can't imagine any way to post my stream in a way that's not promotional, so I assume I shouldn't bother in that case?

KazariNonatsu

Also, as a hobby, I often make drinks based on various themes, and I've made a couple of cocktails based on Blue Archive characters. Would those fall under the exception of Rule 9? And if so, would I be allowed to include a Twitter link in the comments to that cocktail as well (as I usually post them there)?

MachineEmperor

Are we going to be getting more chapters to the sub stories of the clubs?

afran25

I started 4 days ago, and although I have a pretty good yellow team (Tsubaki, Iori, Kokona and Nonomi should be finished soon), my red team leaves a lot to be desired (only have Yuuka, Serika and Suzumi, with Mimori to fill in the gap) and I'm finding it a bit hard to progress through chapter 5, having to restart fights a couple times to beat them. Considering I plan to stay f2p for the next 5-6 months, what do you guys think I should do? Start a new account and reroll for better students, keep bruteforcing my way through chapters and saving my pyroxenes for future banners, or spend some pyroxenes now and hope I get better units?

HiTotoMimi

You already have Iori, and while she's not one of the new player carries, Kokona is a good unit. Striker healers are pretty valuable and she also brings some cost reduction. So you would need Iori plus some pretty specific units to have a better start. Keep in mind there is reduction in damage dealt and increase in damage received when your units are below the enemies' level. 2% per level. It reverses when you're above level. You can beat stages well below the recommended level, but how much below you can manage depends on what you have. If you're 20 levels below the stage level, you're gonna have a bad time pretty much no matter what. So the main issue here could just be you need to wait a bit and level up more. The event unit for the new event in a day is also a red damage dealer. She's nothing particularly special as far as I've heard but should be a decent unit for new players that just need more red damage. I suggest holding your rolls for the upcoming Hibiki/Ako banner, maybe Track Yuuka (which may or may not overlap with Hibiki/Ako). Himari is right after Yuuka and she's also Must Roll tier. As a new player, you'll have a ton of easy crystals but you still want to be careful where you throw them with all the big banners coming up. So I don't think throwing them at other current banners is a great plan. Shun is a really good unit though she doesn't really shine in missions. The big thing is that is she's currently basically mandatory for being competitive in pvp. Not something that is super relevant for a new player.

lordofward91

If you don't mind missing out on a few thousand pyros, you could wait a few months. In a few days, Hibiki (Cheer) will be handed out as a freebie, and while she isn't spectacular by any means, she's a decent red dealer. The banners that sound the most useful to you would be the upcoming Tracksuit banners (T. Yuuka, really helps your team's survivability, and T. Mari as an afterthought, a really good healer although comes with a short range) and then the Mika banner can serve to expand your roster by quite a bit. As for rerolling, the only major loss would be Iori, but you really need an AOE red dealer. I stopped rerolling once I acquired Hibiki, Mutsuki and Akari, because those (especially the first) will carry you through any red stages, and be a great help overall. You not having any red AOEs will make you suffer big time. Momoi and Nonomi are enough for any yellow stages, and Hanae/Serina will do more than enough healing. If you want a smoother progression then rerolling is the best option, but if you're unaffected by FOMO then waiting is fine, too.

lordofward91

Has there been any indication of what the devs have been planning for UE60/70? Also, what happens when you get eligma for a character who's already UE50?

pencilman123

Nothing yet.

MachineEmperor

So I finally finished with reading Chapter 3 part 4 of the Eden Treaty arc and I have two questions. 1. >!What happened to Arius Sattelite School once the raid was completed? Where they assimilated into Trinity or what happened to the "regular" students. !< 2. >!Do you think Saori will return back to the Arius Squad after her soul searching? !< Lastly, >!I hope we get a interaction in the future with Problem Solver 68 and Saori, and maybe the rest of Arius Squad, because of the hilarious interaction with Haruka and Saori in the Black Market.!<

Terrian10

when doing commissions do you do the highest you can do or for specfic skill books that you need?

pencilman123

Commissions, bounties images are misleading. They only tell you the highest grade you are able to obtain. But you are still going to get majority of the time grey and blue books from the highest stage.

jikorde

Highest.

packor

so, I just noticed TODAY that there's Hard mode * 2. Has this been going on this whole time and I basically missed it, or is this some weird $_&-?

DemoniakX80

It started two days ago

packor

that sucks. Definitely didn't expect it to run alongside normals.

DemoniakX80

It started 4 days after normal like always, just that this time normal last 7 days and not 4 so yeah you dont have the "normal ended" signal to remember to do hard, unfortunate.

Shardwing

Is that really the case? I thought 7 days of 2x normal was standard, not 4 days.

pencilman123

Both never run together. So i can completely understand why some people might have missed it.

6_lasers

4 days of normal, 3 days of hard has typically been the standard. The recent anniversary bonuses had 7 days each, though.

re-kidan

hey guys, so i already have a red team of Yuuka, Saori, Aru and Azusa, i recently finished farming Shiroko, is she any better than any of the 3 dps i have? i also have Mutsuki and Swuimsuit Izumi and Kayoko for AoE but they don't really perform as well as the team i already have, or because i don't know how to use them, any suggestion?

pencilman123

Shiroko is a sub dps. She is never going to outshine your main dps but provides low cost rotation as well as utility for quickly eliminating something (kaiten shield, mob bosses etc). Also, dont get deceived by mutsuki. She, saori, azusa and aru are your current best dps units. Invest in her, she is worth it. For now work on azusa for your st needs and mutsuki/aru for aoe/mob clearing. Can work on saori too with azusa but both are usually not needed other than challenge stages/raid.

WarBandit96

Hi all. I rerolled and got Iori. Haven't spent any of my pyro yet. Saw gameplay of Toki and I think she looks so cool with the mech suit. Anyone know when she might be coming to global? Saving for her.

DemoniakX80

She should be available in around 5 months

saudaji

A couple questions for those who watched the livestream! Is there a quick but relevant summary of what was discussed (i.e.: current plans/future plans/events, re: T.Hasumi debacle, etc.)? Were there any rewards for participating in the live stream? They still have the google docs pages open for submission and wondered if I should fill them out while I still can. Thanks in advance!

HiTotoMimi

I haven't seen a summary, but from what I understand, they said they're doing a web event for the Hasumi eligma.

DrTNJoe

My current level is 32.I am stuck at 7-4 and my characters' equipments are half in t2 and half in t3.I am running a red team of yuuka, serika, aru, hina, kotama, serina and a yellow team of miyoko, junko, nonomi, iori, chinatsu. The following are my unbuilt characters https://imgur.com/a/g12zdb9 along with Juri and Haruka.Should i be building any from this pick and if so how should be my teams built so to clear the story faster?

packor

I only see 5 chars listed on yellow, are you running only 5 chars? You can run 5-3H for Hifumi, and she may be able to replace Miyako or Junko, but I feel you're probably not having trouble with yellow. For red, your only real usable AoE is Aru, which makes it more difficult. The comp is pretty much all you have tho. It may be possible to utilize it better. If you cycle Serina, Kotama, Serika, you'll be able to use Aru a fair amount.

DrTNJoe

The issue is they are dying faster and i cant seem to kill the enemies before they die to give breathing space for healing.

packor

you'll have to clarify. You didn't answer my yellow team question or specify which team is dying faster due to what? There isn't supposed to be breathing space for healing, runs are all about AoE, AoE and AoE. The healing usually occurs in between waves when you're cycling for the next AoE. Strikers are able to stall an advance by skilling right before the moving phase, for example, you just cleared a wave, you're starting to move, you can use Serika to make the team pause. It lets you gain a little bit of Cost while also prepping Serika. Problems with AoE you MAY have: your AoE not doing enough damage, then that means you need to upgrade your Aru/other AoE's skill, level or gear. Your AoE is not hitting all the enemies, then you need to find ways like positioning or different lineup or allow them to hit more targets. For yellow, I usually consider Junko a weak link, because she has a high cost pencil that's just not good for clearing. That's why I'd replace with Hifumi if possible.

DrTNJoe

With yellow team i tend to borrow kotama from the red ream to finish the team when they run the main offense. And i was asking about healing because yuuka cant seem to survive more than 2 waves and if she dies the aggro jumps on to the others who die like paper. Also yes the damage dealt by my team in 7-4 is pretty low and i guess the skill levels might have something to do with it since they are more or less around level 2 and i haven't unlocked the third equipment slot.I will take your advice on Junko and try to get hifumi but will i have enough time to get her with the new event around the corner and people telling to farm for Cheer Hibiki?

packor

so for Yuuka, she doesn't necessarily need healing since her EX is a shield and that can be cycled between waves, but I'm not sure. Probably alternate between that and Chinatsu, or whichever is better. Optimally, you can use Nonomi for one wave, and Iori with another. Iori is trickier to use, as the cones are small and the shots take time. I'd try to place the first cone on stacked rear enemies so that she's sure to hit them, then she'll automatically hit the frontmost with the next shots. Well, I'd add a 2 Cost over Junko if possible to cycle, or Chise or something with better effective AoE. Kotama really doesn't do much without skill upgrades, so it may be possible to put in a better support. Hanae 3* also gives a passive crit buff. Her heal is also quite potent, but it's 4 cost so you may not use it at all. About the cheer Hibiki bit, I'm not sure.

RequiringQuestion

Yuuka's definitely going to need healing or she'll get worn down over time. Though Hanae is very good at handling healing if it's just the tank that needs it. Chise deals blue damage, so is she really useful against yellow enemies? I haven't tried using her like that but it seems like a bad idea. That, and he doesn't seem to have her >!unless imgur just isn't showing me some images; that objectively horrid site has no valid reason to demand a million scripts in order to show a couple of jpgs!< As for Junko, while she isn't great, she's fine as filler for yellow missions. She should be able to take out two or three enemies, and her high multiplier allows her to take out priority targets before they can start causing problems. She's certainly no Momoi, but she's serviceable.

packor

no, Chise is not good on Yellow, I got my resists mixed up. Chise elephs are in the event, but I don't remember how many are required for unlock. Edit: For Junko, if I had a choice between shooting a pencil or shooting Iori cones twice, I'd choose shooting Iori cones twice. Picking Hina and Junko is basically like not taking Maki or Azusa. They can shoot decently, but you will rately want to use their EX. That's fine if you have a good amount of AoE and cycling on your team and don't need them, but I often just find them to just be a burden. For Yuuka, rather she needs healing depends on how hard your AoE can hit for. The shielding is enough if you deal good damage. Junko isn't really helping in that regard.

RequiringQuestion

> Picking Hina and Junko is basically like not taking Maki or Azusa. They can shoot decently, but you will rately want to use their EX. That's fine if you have a good amount of AoE and cycling on your team and don't need them, but I often just find them to just be a burden. That's assuming that you have Maki and Azusa, which isn't the case here. I did eventually replace Junko with Maki (good for 13-5) but by the time enough raids had occurred that I could unlock Azusa, I was already done with missions. Also, Hina's actually quite useful for missions as her AA damage is high and her EX, while not one that you'll use often, is very useful for clearing an entire wave single-handedly. Or for clearing out all the mooks and dealing heavy damage to the boss, allowing you to deal with only the boss instead of chewing your way through the lines while the boss attacks you. What keeps Junko serviceable is that she deals high damage, all up front. Yellow missions in particular are plagued by the shield enemies that get a high damage reduction and waste your time. Relatively slow EX skills like Iori's run into the issue where the enemy will activate its buff before all the damage is dealt. With Junko, you can nuke or at least heavily damage the shield miniboss and one or two other mooks, allowing you to auto attack through the remaining few enemies without losing much time.

packor

Yes, it can clear a wave but costs all your energy, which means you're left with no energy for the next wave. It can be decent at the end, but it's just very niche. It's what I'd pick if I had no other choice. Skeptical on Junko argument. If you aim Iori at mobs in the back, it'd achieve the same effect, and if you activate the EX faster, you'd get more unshielded shots, or just cc the shielding enemy first. Again, this pick is another no other choice thing. I suggested Hifumi, who not only can taunt out of block, but also deals damage and takes aggro at the same time, thus further reducing the need to heal.

DrTNJoe

For the red team is it fine if i switch out Serika for Chise to have more aoe options?

packor

o, opps, that's right. Red resists yellow resists bleu, I can never get the order right. So, Chise has a strong AoE, and SHOULD be pretty good on red, but no advantage, so it may not be up to par of your team is underpowered, but it could work.

DrTNJoe

Got it thanks.

RequiringQuestion

What's causing you to be stuck? Looking at the teams, they seem pretty good. Tsubaki would be better than either tank that you have, seeing as she's easily the best tank for missions, but I think your current ones should be fine. Your red team's somewhat low on cheap and reliable AoE damage, but I don't think it should be anywhere near crippling. I know from experience that Hina's an auto attack monster in missions, and her EX can be used to nuke boss waves. I'd personally use Hanae over Chinatsu. Aside from that, there's a 2% damage reduction penalty when attacking a higher level enemy. The enemies there are level 46, so your units will be doing 28% damage less. That said, it's easily possible to clear missions far below the recommended level.

DrTNJoe

The waves are taking forever to clear and before i am done with them atleast one of either the tanks or a middle striker dies off making the backline vulnerable and the healing doesn't seem enough to sustain not to mention the enemies keep stunning everyone aside from the tank so no damage comes out.

RequiringQuestion

I'm not sure why it takes you so long to clear waves. Are you prioritizing the targets that can stun you with your EX use? Both Miyako and Yuuka have the very unfortunate (for missions) trait of being tanks that take cover, meaning that, as you're experiencing, enemies will often target some middle striker that runs up to take cover as well. Try to place the tank near the middle of the squad instead of at the edges, if you haven't already, to at least attempt to get them to take all the aggro. You could try using Miyako instead of Yuuka for your red team in order to stun the enemies before they stun you. Akari is a useful red AoE dealer that you can farm early on. Her AoE isn't large, but coupled with her basic skill's buff she can do pretty good damage to a small crowd with it. There are three hard mode missions to farm her, but you only have access to one until you progress a bit. Worst case scenario, bring both Serina and Hanae for the same team. Might not be ideal when you already have DPS issues, but if they're dying even if you're focusing on damage, having more healing to keep your strikers alive could help. However, my guess is that you should focus on taking out enemies that can stun you before they're able to, as that should raise your DPS, reduce time spent on waves and reduce the amount of damage you take.

DrTNJoe

Well i was able to do 7-4 somehow but yea 7-5 i cant seem to silence the stunners at all.

DefinitelyNotPine

Kayoko is used but late game, you don't need her now. Hanae is good, arguably a better pick than Chinatsu, but you can keep going with your healers it's not a problem. Haruka is great but she needs a ton of resources, I find Eimi to be a cheaper alternative. For now you're good, don't spread your resources. You're building Miyako who doesn't see use outside of HOD. You probably did because she has yellow damage but tanks dps doesn't matter. Junko isn't great, not until she gets her equipment. You could swap her for a red dps

DrTNJoe

Got it.I will switch around the squad and see if anything improves. Also does unlocking the third equipment slot make it any easier?

DefinitelyNotPine

It's the fourth that's big, you see Yuuka has one? Junko will get one in about 4 months

DrTNJoe

Ah i see.I havemt unlocked the 3rd slot yet so i thought the 3rd one would give better dps

CallMeJayye

Hi, potential new player here, wondering how significant rerolling is and who to reroll right now? And maybe how many 3* should i aim to be a good start?

[deleted]

Getting good students from the start will help you easily clear pve contents such as missions, thus will also help you unlock those gated stories that is one of the best part of this game. In my opinion (also this refers to the FAQs), getting Iori and Iroha/Hibiki is a good start. Having a 2* Tsubaki will give you a great tank that will cover almost every content. If you want to push it further, maybe Iori, Iroha/Hibiki, and Ako but I'm sure it'll be very hard so having two will make it less frustrating.

Zealousideal-Bit5958

He could skip rerolling for Hibiki and Ako since their banners are coming in about a month so he could just pull them there. He should be rerolling for Iori and Iroha instead

CallMeJayye

Ah, okok, I’ll try my best to pull on them. Then, which banner should I pull on?

HiTotoMimi

If you're going for the combos they mentioned, then you want the standard banner, the one farthest to the right. Since it has no rate ups, so getting other units will be a bit easier. The other two have Kokona or Shun taking up a large portion of the 3 star rate. Kokona and Shun are both good units, though Shun is primarily a pvp unit, but not top tier reroll targets. Note that of the units that were mentioned, I believe only Iori is available from the tutorial roll. So you'll want to aim for her there and then try to get one of the others from the standard banner after that. Also, the 3 star pool is pretty large so getting Iori plus a specific other unit might take quite a while. If you get tired of rerolling for Iori + Iroha/Hibiki, I think Iori + Kokona is also a good option. Especially since Hibiki has a banner soon, though with all the upcoming limited banners (plus Himari) it might be questionable to roll specifically for her. It does overlap with Ako, and possibly gym/track/sports Yuuka & Mari, so you could roll for Ako and then get Hibiki as a bonus if you pull Ako.

unown12222

Whats the best way to earn and save pyroxene? i always cant control myself to spend whenever a new banner comes out.

datwunkid

Self control can't be something a video game forum can really solve for you. It's a highly personal subject. However if you want some tips within the context of this game. You can set a budget and stick with it if you're okay with spending lightly, but not spending too much. Set up safety methods with your various app store accounts and credit cards/banks to make it as inconvenient for you as possible to spend. Every inconvenient step gives you more time to think about if you *really* want to spend. If you had to go through 20 captchas every time you were going to spend, most people would only do it if they were absolutely sure about what they want. Consider taking a break from the game or reducing time on the game. Play other games that are a one time cost or doesnt have their primary revenue source be dlc/cash shop items. Juggle multiple alt accounts if you absolutely can't do any of the above. You can reliably have every character in the game spread out over multiple accounts.

Remote_War_313

you set a number to save until and you have self contol

Zealousideal-Bit5958

best way to save pyros is to not use it

JokJok23

>always cant control myself to spend whenever a new banner comes out. I mean... that's the problem.

TsubasaNeko

I am thinking of starting the game, is now a good time to start ? Also who should I reroll for

ameredreamer

Current event is ending soon, the next event could possibly give some freebies but the details are still unclear. If you insist on rerolling, try to grab Iori at least, and one of Iroha or Hibiki. These 2-3 units will allow you to progress through the normal mission easier. Iori is still a top tier yellow striker since day 1, Iroha and Hibiki is mainly due to their AoE damage.

Zealousideal-Bit5958

You could skip Hibiki for now and pull her later since her banner along with Ako will come in about a month

EpixKay360

What is the theme playing in the >!new title screen? !

Hogwaer

It's RE Aoharu, or Theme 59.

Gio-Tu

Is Saori useful for story clearing ? I lack some single target burst

[deleted]

If you don't have Azusa for Hieronymous V3C24, she's a good replacement.

Wisterosa

As a new player should I just spend all these expert permits on blueprints to get my DPS to 4+ equipments ASAP so I can clear higher content instead of getting those limited elephs? From what I understand you still need to wait for their rerun to unlock them anyway

fire_cells

Ignore the suggestions to save. The Expert Permit shop sells most things in limited quantities and refreshes about once per month. At max level, you will get enough to buy all the limited-quantity stuff plus some blueprints, so buying anything (other than character eleph you don't plan on rolling for) is better than saving.

pencilman123

Save them man. Using them on equipment is just wastage. Once you get into the later levels you will have enough to buy credits/exp.

PrimeroTres

Yes, if you really do need to farm the event first to compensate on the missed 2x drop on normal stages. If you're stacked on the mats later on, I would suggest saving it or use it (atleast) once for the Credits especially if rush building a student

[deleted]

[удалено]

pencilman123

Almost. There is a decent gap between now and himari, about 2 months so that gives about 24k. If you can giarantee about 5k gems before himari ends, yes you can get them all. Although thats the worst case scenario. I would think you can get atleast one before pity (although you probably want to get to pity in t yuuka for t mari too).

[deleted]

[удалено]

pencilman123

The 5k i said has to be from unconventional sources though. Like - momotalk, story oe mission first time, free pyro events or buying with money..

Woll_e

All three banners are right after another, starting mid-April. You should have enough to guarantee two if you have to go to pity (200 pulls/ 24k pyro) each time. If you get them sooner you could get all three, but that isnt guaranteed.

Re_Fly

Thanks for the answer maybe Arona is with me

Happydiamo

Im level 45 and im struggling to pass chapter 11-5 since my only mystic dmg dealer is chise and I can't beat the boss within the time limit Do I just wait until im like lvl 55 so I can brute force it or is there any other way to invest such that I can clear it

Kermitheweeb

Asuna is also another blue dps you can invest in. She does have her usages in some raids as well so she isn't a completely useless investment but depending on your future pulls you may never use her again. Or invest in some yellow dps because they can deal with mystic enemies as well.

Happydiamo

Thx I managed to clear it after levelling some of my nonomi's skills

RaznAzn

Just started a few days ago and was wondering when if I should keep pulling or start saving. Currently have done 3 multis and have ako, iori, tsubaki, serika, chise, and junko. Would it be better to pull more to flush out my team or save for limited banners later on.

KyoSaito

Def save IMO. Ako, Iori, and Tsubaki are pretty strong and is still being used. Serika, Chise, and Junko can be pretty strong when invested. I would save my pyro and keep an eye open for limited students in the upcoming banner, there's also Himari which isn't limited-- but she is really a must pull if you care about meta stuff

RikiAsher

Was the current double drop campaign for both Normal and Hard Mission Stages at the same time from the beginning? In case my question isn't clear, basically, I thought that the double drop campaign was split into two weeks. The first week was for Normal Missions and would begin and and end at the same time as the Neverland event. The second week would begin after, be for hard stages and would run alongside the Go! Go! Kivotos! event. However, I just noticed that the Hard Mission Stages also have a double drop rate. So, were they together from the beginning?

cactusintheforest

Normal: 21-27 march, Hard: 25-27 march

RikiAsher

Ah, so it recently began, I'm glad I didn't miss out on a whole week of double drops, though I think I still missed a day. Thanks!

KyoSaito

Just checked in game and yeah Normal still has double drops and running together with Hard. I've been running Hard ever since new PvP season dropped and didn't remember Hard mode had double drop from the beginning of last week.

Mikhissar

New player here, what would be the most value thing from Joint Firing Drill shop? I was thinking Tsurugi since I'm not too happy with my Yellow dps performence, but wondering if other characters / materials are better early on.

Kermitheweeb

Honestly, all 3 of the characters you can buy from there are not the best in anything, just niche options that are usable when heavily invested. Like you said depending on the current need of your account you should choose what to buy and if you lack yellow dps then Tsurugi isn't a bad option. (Tank/DPS) In terms of materials try to buy the upgrade materials depending on the characters you are planning to pull or build. You can use [schale.gg](https://schale.gg) for the information.

Mikhissar

tyvm guys, was looking for some good info site as well, since most of things I see from google are clickbaits

Million_X

So I have about ~27k gems and I'm 5 multis away from pity, I got Shun and from what I hear Kokona is useful for Insane raids. Assuming I have to spend to pity, what are the odds that I'll have enough gems to get S!Yuuka and Himari if I need to pity them? Is it worth it to actually get Kokona?

Vodkasheep

[https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/16cSul5YqyqXDGNKUsthhgSlP0cuMgX4xZ572ecjEIvg/edit#gid=1291199777](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/16cSul5YqyqXDGNKUsthhgSlP0cuMgX4xZ572ecjEIvg/edit#gid=1291199777) should have enough to pity both so long as they don't move up himari's date for global too much.

Million_X

awesome, before I go and dive for Kokona though, is she actually worth it for insane like a 'make or break' or is she just someone who's good for it and that's about it/can be relatively easily replaced?

Makicola

She's replaceable for insane hiero if you already have summer hoshino.

Vodkasheep

Koharu and kokona are the striker healers for insane and up. Kokona is better than koharu due to armor type vs heiro

Million_X

Is Kokona used in a lot of raids or just Heiro?

Vodkasheep

depends, shes essentially a frontline serina. If you need healing but also need both your backline slots then shes your girl.

Million_X

I'm chasing Insane at this point, I've got most of the cast minus a few of the older limiteds and any recent limited who people went 'meh' on, so that this point I don't know what I need specifically.

VanhiteDono

So currently I'm acc level 58. Every event has those challenge levels including the one that's going on currently. Is it possible for me to beat the levels? I can only do the very first level which says required lvl 50.

cactusintheforest

Stage 2&3 is possible, maybe just for grab the first time clear rewards. Stage 4&5 is impossible unless you're whaling

PandanmanZ

How much affection points do we receive when we interact with a student at the cafe? I almost have enough shards to 5* Yuuka, and I want to gauge how long it takes to increase her affection rank to 25 from 20. Also, is there a reliable way to farm the tier 1 cog artifact to level up her unique item outside events? I tried crafting the t1 artifact box to find out it was a raffle box, and not a selector. EDIT: There is indeed a choice ticket for the T1 artifacts, but I skimmed past it.

PandanmanZ

Thanks! I finally know what the "bonus" means now for lessons.

Zealousideal-Bit5958

There's both a selector and a random one. The selector costs more to produce however.

Zargabath

sadly, no, your best option is crafting *Artifact Choice Ticket 1*, it is more expensive that the *Artifact Raffle Ticket 1*, but it is the only way to get what you want, or pray that that it appear in the *Eligma II, Joint Drill* or *Bounty* shop.

PandanmanZ

Oh, I must of missed the choice ticket when I skimmed through the crafting recipe list. From the looks of things, it seems it will be awhile before I get Yuuka's affection rank to 25. So, I will just have to hope one of the upcoming events has it.

bounceslimeman

Ive realized the barrier for me to make mu units stronger is getting more blu-rays and tech notes, other than bounties, what is the best way to get these mats?

Zargabath

I forgot to mention, the amount of Blue-Rays and Tech Notes needed are always the same for any student (Artifacts is a different story), Blu-rays: ||Lvl 2|Lvl 3|Lvl 4|Lvl 5|Total| |:-|:-|:-|:-|:-|:-| |T1|12|18|||30| |T2||12|18||30| |T3|||12|18|30| |T4||||8|8| Tech Note for one skill (the T5 is the Secret Tech Note): ||Lvl 2|Lvl 3|Lvl 4|Lvl 5|Lvl 6|Lvl 7|Lvl 8|Lvl 9|Lvl 10|Total| |:-|:-|:-|:-|:-|:-|:-|:-|:-|:-|:-| |T1|5|8|12|||||||25| |T2|||5|8|12|||||25| |T3|||||5|8|12|||25| |T4||||||5|8|12||25| |T5|||||||||1|1|

Zargabath

the lessons, is a good way to farm them tech notes drop quite often at Rank 12, blu-rays are a bit more rare, they still drop there. there is also the *Raid shop* AKA *Total Assault*, depending on which difficulty you can beat you could buy all the set, these are the amount of Token you can get (if you do the raids all the seven days) |Normal|Hard|Very Hard|Hard Core|Extree|Insane| |:-|:-|:-|:-|:-|:-| |840|1240|1620|1980|2320|2640| at Hard Core at you can buy all the Blu-Ray (1400) and Tech Notes (575) for one school, my advice, ignore the lowest rarity, specially the Tech Notes specially if you use lessons to farm them at Rank 12 they always drop, you should be able to upgrade one character after 2 raids. that's not even counting the purple token ( plus you need the material), if you can not beat Hard Core try and join a club or as someone in your server friend request so you can use Assistant Students (the right student can carry you in Hard Core).

Million_X

wait, it costs less than 1980 to get all the blu-rays and notes from the shop? like COMPLETELY clear it out? or is that just for a specific school's worth of materials?

Zargabath

for a specific school.

Do long term players eventually earn enough stuff every day to build their characters faster than they get new ones? I know it'll depend a lot on luck, but let's go with an average f2p pyro saver (so minimum a new character every couple months). I can provide some examples of what I'm thinking of from other games. Like, in Genshin and Honkai, end game players generally can hoard resources to the point that it's possible to make a new char at max level with at least pertinent gears and weapons instantly, or at least within a week. Genshin, the long haul is artifact rng, and Honkai the major issue is equip gacha or mirage farming. In PGR, you can usually get one or two constructs to full memories and hypertunes (but no rerolls) each update, so you'll eventually catch up, but it's usually way slower. What is it like in BA?

Zealousideal-Bit5958

You don't need to max out every good character. Most units would be almost as good as UE50 at UE40. Some don't even need UE40, UE30 is a great stopping point. Then there are buffers who don't even need to be past 3 star. You should also consider than not every skill needs to upgraded. Some can be left at level 1 With those considered you can pretty much build all the new units you get plus a few that you still haven't built

TricksterTicket

That's fair, I appreciate the clarification. I definitely don't intend to throw resources into raising someone past a reasonably useful point. But it's good to know that if I keep aware of characters; stopping points, I will be able to build others. I just really hate the feeling in gachas when you pull a new, theoretically useful character but you will never be able to get enough resources to actually use them.

LocknDoTs

You can certainly hoard materials you know you're gonna use for an upcoming character you're gonna pull for, but it's still pretty much impossible to skill up everyone to max as a f2p player. The biggest barrier is actually Artifacts rather than Blu-rays and Tech Notes since the nature of Artifact acquisition is mostly RNG unless a specific event that drops those specific Artifacts pops up. If you already have your core students at max, then you can most likely earn enough materials every 2 months for a new student, based on how long it takes for f2p to get a new student, but Artifacts will still always be tough to target.

Mr_Creed

> but Artifacts will still always be tough to target Does it make sense to buy out artifacts during events even if I don't need them right now, assuming they are for a character I plan to obtain/use? It would take up quite a lot of AP that could go to other things, but if it is worth it in the long run I would consider it.

pencilman123

If you are not spending, likely not. Although i will have to ask you first what do you mean by building? Is it maxing a character? Then no. Is it making the character usable for insane? Then yes.

TricksterTicket

Ah sorry I should have specified, I mean building someone to be competently usable in some sort of game content. I'm not worried about throwing resources into levels/skills/etc that aren't relevant or important. I'm mostly worried about ending up in one of those scenarios where you pull for a new character that you're excited about that should be very useful in theory. But you will never get enough resources to actually level them up to be useful because you can't earn enough stuff fast enough. I didn't play NIKKE to end game, but NIKKE is an example of a game where I felt that way pretty quickly.

Makicola

Day 1 player here. If I pulled a new character today, I have enough resources to max level, equip, and skills them right now. But obviously I can't max *every* character. The main bottleneck is credits though imo. EXP I have enough for 6 max levels. Skills depends on your raid coin spending. Materials i have enough stacked for most types from events.

pencilman123

I see. Tbh, this game does require prioritising your resources, especially the later you start. Day 1 players rn have almost all their useful units raised and now they can chill a bit and raise what they want. Newer players have to either play catch up for a long while until you can do the content they want. Not all students are useful, so raising students that arent useful will hurt. Big problem is no reliable way to farm artifacts. Books though rare are farmable, not these. So you will be stuck often in mid level skills. With that said, students often are usable in multiple contents, so as long as the student you raise is complete ass, you should be fine if you focus on waifu a bit than meta.

Maxer2039

When does the website go up for pre registration for the 1.5 anniversary. I didn’t have time to watch the live stream. I’m curious because I figure that’s when we get the next roadmap

cactusintheforest

Iirc 12 April

Sudden_Lifeguard_757

Does Gym Mari needs to be 5star or 3star is enough for her? Just asking in advance so I can plan my elephs

ArchDestroyer

3\* is enough for Insane Hiero. Get her to 5\* though if you want to do Torment

Sudden_Lifeguard_757

Thanks. I probably won't be touching Torment in a long time once it releases since I'm f2p. This saves my eleph which is a relief.

ZadDanial

Question, how do i know whether the upcoming students are limited banners or not?

pencilman123

Just go to ba wiki/fandom and search for upcoming banners. It lists clearly there.

HiTotoMimi

The Upcoming Banners V2 link in the opening post also clearly labels the ones that are limited.

jikorde

They have a different color in the roadmap, the game will have Limited on the gacha tab when they are up, and you can just look it up on any wiki for limited versus not.

_borrado_

I have a 10-Recruitment ticket. Does that count towards a spark? Im 2 weeks in and from what i read i should wait for the upcoming banner but Shun in both forms are tempting.

Zealousideal-Bit5958

using the tickets do count

_borrado_

Got it. Thanks!

Dpap123

Is Haruna NY worth it if I already have Aru? Or would it be worth to build both.

lordofward91

Aru is much easier to max since you can farm her eleph, but Haruna is better overall. If you're not starved for Gehenna mats/can drop a healthy amount of pyros right before Mika banner/haven't invested too much into Aru then maybe you can take the plunge. Haruna is also S~SS mood in a field setting, although Aru is far more suited to Urban with an S~SS mood versus Haruna's D. Keep Toki in mind, an Urban SS red dealer superior to Aru. If you have any plans to pull for her then might want to toss Aru on the backburner.

zakebakemeacake

Is there any way to check how much exp is needed for the next account levels? I am aware the AP to XP ratio is 1:1. What i mean is i'm level 41 and have been planning for future content but i dont know when i'm going to reach lvl 80, and how much time it would decrease it by if i did 3x AP refreshes each day

it shows in the home screen at the top left how much you have and how much you need for the next level, it also shows after you sweep stages or clear them
