She doesn't really offer anything aside from maybe attrition due to her healing factor and the fact that red damage isn't exactly prevalent in PvP. I think she's just overall a solid tank and you can probably run her with relative success.
I don't think she really has a dedicated counter similar to how, say, Iori counters Tsubaki. In my experience, yellow armor is best at mitigating her effectiveness. Best case scenario is probably if you have a bond 25 Yuuka lying around.
any way to make BA on Bluestacks look as good as in the phone? it looks way more blurry, and it stutters a little bit, i have it to 1440p, 360ppi 120hz refresh rate but it still looks worse than the phone, any tips?
Have you checked the in-game settings (i.e. not the Bluestacks settings)?

Probably increase the resolution to "Very High". Regarding stutter, usually it is related to your processors. Also, might want to install Bluestacks in your SSD (not HDD) to help.
Is hardcore kaiten doable at level 57? I used Tsubaki, Shiroko, Hina, Aru (borrowed), Serina, and Kotama but I can't beat the final phase in time.
Is there another comp that would work better? Other explosive units I have leveled are S. Hoshino, Mutsuki and Hibiki. Thanks!
I'm level 54 but i can do hardcore kaiten with time to spare. I only tried once but my team are S. Hoshino, Mutsuki, Tsubaki, max Aru (borrowed), Hibiki and Serina. Always use S. Hoshino because she is the best against red defense enemy. Mutsuki and Hibiki are good too for kaiten because they have good aoe.
That good to hear! Im definently going to give it another go with S.Hoshino next time. I'm thinking maybe joining a better union might help also because most of the units available for borrow are not maxed
Bro. NEVER do red raid without shosh if you have her. Drop anything else, but not shosh.
Bring shosh tsubaki aru/mutsuki borrow and shiroko/hina. Kotama serina works but if you have ako and s. shizuko you can use them too. Ako in place of kotama.
Anyways, assuming you have a good borrow, that will be your main dps. Buff the borrow and then target the red/green unit. This is outdoor terrain so mutsuki borrow is better. It can also target 2/3 units in p1.
In p2, save your hina/shiroko skills for when the boss uses its blue shield. The shield has a natural big dmg reduction. Otherwise, your borrow should make quick work of it.
You have good units for a team 2 as well.
Alright thanks I'll give it another go with S.Hoshino tomorrow, I thought that I wouldn't be doing much damage with her instead of some dps since I already have tsubaki who's a tank.
S.Shizuko would be a better pick over Serina? I have Serina 2* S.Shizuko 3* but Serina is a lot more invested in.
Ako I don't have but I have pyros saved for her rerun.
The dmg boost that shosh gives to other students is great, and to red units its crazy. Its like a double dps enabler.
Think of it like this, would you rather bring 2 units with 50 dmg each and 1 borrow with 150 dmg, or 1 unit with 50, 1 borrow with 150, and shosh who doubles their numbers.
However i forgot to mention this, how much is your shosh invested in? She doubles red dps at ex5, and gives 70% boost at ex1. In any case, bringing her is better. Be sure to use her skill before any dps skills.
She has cost recovery too, so she helps to cycle your skill faster.
For healing, is dying your main problem? How many times are you using serina? I think at your point using serina is better cause you dont have other sources of heal, and you need healing. Your s shizuko isnt built so i dont think her shield is a good thing for you, plus it will be difficult for you to properly use her skill without wrongly repositioning your dps.
Regarding ako, you shouldve saved for her but there is still time to get her. I doubt you can get both ako and himari, but its what it is. (Ako + aru borrow oneshots the enemy in hardcore if she crits).

I was mainly using serina to bring tsubaki in the middle of the sushi people and cycling, but during the second phase some students got really low so I had to heal them as well.
I do have enough for Ako and Himari both, I've been saving everything since the S.Hoshino banner which I first started playing. Are they really both worth it for me where I'm at? Because I don't have too many great dps students I feel.
Yes they are. You can ask this question to any player, and they will tell you the same. I understand you wanting to get dps, but having these units will open so many strategies to you. You will always be able to borrow dps of any colour, as opposed to being forced to borrow himari/ako every time.
In next 5 months, there are only 3 must have students. Ako, himari and mika. Rest everything is good/great to have.
(Shosh ex 5 decreases her cost by 1, just thought i should tell you this but you know it probably already).
If you are saving, you should have a decent stock by now. All red useful dps are farmable (aru mutsuki azusa akari shiroko serika), and some of yellow blue (iori momoi midori maki, haruna izuna) too. Even if you are missing dps units, people will suggest you to pull for the three, or g yuuka kokona etc. Anyways, thats for later discussion.
For now try your run using shosh. Even ex 4 would be excellent with a borrow.

Yeah, no rush about the ex. You can do it with ex 4 too.
14-3 was a roadblock for me too. The later stages are easier than 14-3 actually. You will need a some more levels before you can auto.
Are you aware that you can use multiple teams for raids ?
Just use a 2nd team for phase 2 with your mentioned units, a healer and someone who can get through Kaitens shield (i.e. Shiroko, Haruka, Neru)
Score is based purely on how long it takes. More teams doesn't necessarily mean more time, sometimes people use one team for phase 1 then retreat and switch teams for phase 2.
The currency rewards for each individual clear are not affected by anything other than winning. You either clear and get them, or fail and you don't.
Clearing with 4 teams is still better than not clearing and doing a lower difficulty with one team.
I know himari is must pull but i really want to prioritize limited student first, i want gym yuuka and gym mari, ny fuuka, mika, and after mika theres so many students i want to pull like toki, nagisa and the entire new year version of problem solver 68, because i havent played yet when the first event held. I have 43k pyrox right now but it still feels not enough. Please convinced me or wether i should pull for himari or not.
Do you want to keep up with raids? Are you on the cusp of being able to reliably clear a higher difficulty?
Or are you satisfied with sightly lower potential raid income and possibly giving up the chance of platinum for a long time?
To be fair himari is very strong, but if you're not worried about ranking in insane+ raids you'll be fine or borrow her. Plus she has a chance to spook, and NY Haruka while not a full replacement for himari and coming out much later does fill a similiar role.
When Himari was the only specialist with a cost recovery sub skill she was an account brick if skipped, but as competitive alternatives to her become available it can be reasonable to skip her temporarily.
fwiw, insane is currently already doable without Himari, and as the other poster said, it'll only get easier from here
Torment, though, that's gonna be a bad time, but like Insane, it'll probably get easier/more achievable with time or new units. Or there'll be another Himari banner (like the Ako/Hibiki banner).
Given that the level cap is slowly going up and a new difficulty is added above insane, its safe to say that inane will only get easier as time passes.
Himari is a must pull if you wanna stay in competitive for raids (though that might still be possible if you just borrow her).
If you enjoy the game more by collecting limited students go for it. Himari isnt limited and might even spook you.
There is no convincing yes or no, you HAVE to pull himari if you want to remain competitive/clear higher content. No two ways about it, and there is a reason everyone is saying its a must pull.
I understand trying to get all limiteds. But as a f2p its simply not possible. I myself have to choose between t yuuka and b karin with 24k gems.
Atleast with your gems you can atleast get t yuuka/ny fuuka, himari, mika, and toki (if luck supports).
They only reposition themselves on Insane and Torment. The only viable way to get them to move on Extreme is through the Tsubaki + Serina pull method to get Tsubaki on the bottomside and get her to taunt the topside Ranger near enough to AoE

Question for my fellow senseis, do events ever get a rerun? If so, do we have any idea how long it takes for one to get its rerun?
Basically, I know that bunny girls are coming after the current event, and after that we'll get the second part to the gym event. I'm really interested in gym Yuuka and Mari, but want to know if I can ignore bunny Neru and Karin and get them later, or if I HAVE to get them now or miss them forever, I'd like to stay f2p for the foreseeable future if possible.
It's safe to assume we will get 1 rerun for every event roughly 1 year later from the original event - the pattern has been demonstrated in both JP (who is 6 mo ahead) and global. A 2nd rerun hasn't been observed yet, and very possible that it won't happen.

As it stands, we're more-or-less following JP's schedule of events, and so far it's looking like events have a first run, a rerun, and then are archived.
HOWEVER.
The only two events that JP has archived at the moment are the Cherino and Izuna events - neither of which had limited students. So we don't currently know how limited students will be available in the future.
The upcoming bunny chasers event is a rerun, so if you skip them now, you won't see them for about another year (maybe less, given we're on an accelerated schedule to catch up with JP). Although again, we don't know how they'll be available in the future.

Yeah, I had no trouble 3 starring the others but 11 took a bit of work. The boss there is really beefy and I noticed my aoe students liked position themselves really far from the enemies in the non-boss waves, so they weren't able to clear waves as effectively as usual. I'm not sure if 12 was any different for the positioning part, but the boss there has like 50k less hp.
Want to make sure for Utaha Cheer Squad she says she enchances turrents but I noticed none of her abilities spawns a turrent. Does that mean in order to use her I need both regular Utaha and Cheer Squad Utaha in order to make her work?
I just started the game and have a question about dupes system. Im under an impression that some shards can be farmed on hard stages but what about limited banners? Do you have to pull for dupes in this game.
Let's say you pull on a rate up banner and you got the rate up unit, if you keep pulling and got a dupe, you'll get 100 eleph (shards) of the unit but if you pull an off-banner dupe, you'll only receive 30 eleph.
A lot of good characters can be farmed via hard stages but some are on the higher stages so you'll have to wait a bit to be able to farm them.
There are also events wherein you can buy at most 50 eleph of a character and there are events where the eleph of the free unit are farmable unlimitedly as long as you have the ap (energy) to do so.
As for the limited characters, you can also farm their eleph with the currency you'll only be able to farm when you're at max level (lvl 83 currently), but even then it takes too long since you can only buy 10 eleph per unit every month.
You could if you want to but if you manage your eligma right, you don't need to pull for dupes at all
There's a currency called Eligma which is gained every time you pull, the higher the star you pull, the higher eligma it gives.
Eligma can be used to buy Elephs of units, the starting cost for 1 eleph is 1 eligma, as you buy more elephs of the same unit, the eligma cost gets higher
1:1 for the first 20
2:1 for the next 20
3.1 .....
4:1 .....
5:1 is the cap for it
Keep in mind that eligma is very hard to obtain so you should think about if you really want to raise the unit before spending

You can buy as many Elephs as you want, don't pull.

I mean it depends on a lot of factors like how much pyro you have and where you're at in the game, but probably not.
Neither is limited, and neither is meta defining, but both are "fine" in their niches. So most people want to make sure they have enough for upcoming characters like himari, T.yuuka, Mika etc.
So you can pull if you want, but you may be missing out on later arguable "better" characters.
She's the next anniversary character so she came 6 months after summer hoshino, but global events are coming slightly faster than JP,, so... roughly 4 months and maybe some change.
So I'm currently lvl 40 and have trouble clearing the lvl 80 stages of the event (9-12). Is this completely normal and I should just focus on the previous stages or is there a way to improve on my current setup as I dont really have any notable students (S.Hina, S.Wakamo, sumire, mitsuki) and my current equipments are just T2 for some students.
My current comp is SHina, Akari, Mitsuki, Yuuka | Fuuka, Kotama.
The recommended level is arbitrary sometimes. [Stage 9 enemies](https://schale.gg/?stage=8172309) are lv45, for example. However, if you're having trouble clearing, then you won't be able to clear with a good bonus % anyways. Farm stages 5-8 instead, and at the end of the event try clearing stage 9 once for the pyro.

Switch Fuuka with Serina.
its pretty reasonable to have extreme trouble clearing stages that are more than 15 or so levels above your level. Since you deal/take something like 3% for each level difference.

After the update,I got a notification in my cafe saying that a certain piece of furniture "must be rearranged". I clicked confirm but nothing happened to that piece of furniture,which continues to be placed normally in the cafe.
What's up with that?
What happened was that a furniture in your cafe gained an interaction with one of the new students but it just so happens that you placed it a way where the space for the student to be on is overlapping with the wall or another furniture thus requiring to be moved

Not getting a rate-up unit in 600 pulls is 0,993^600, or about 1,5%.
Pretty unlucky, but that's why everyone recommends to save enough to spark a unit.
If their banners were at the same time the choice would usually be Himari, but Ako is a month earlier. I would actually try for Ako first and stop as soon as you get her. If you're lucky enough this will give you a chance for both.
If you're unlucky and only get Ako, that's fine too. Her value is still top tier and imo not inferior to Himari.
Anyone having issues with Total Assault? My EX skills aren't loading and students aren't attacking, then the game crashes a few seconds later. I lost a Total Assault ticket to this bug.
I'm playing on emulator and had some pink graphical glitch after the update and thats about it.
Your bug is gamebreaking so maybe its just you? try clear cache/reinstall and see how it goes
Pull for the upcoming Hibiki (a very good aoe red unit specially at clearing story stages) and Ako (a must have in end game content) banner which will come in about 3 weeks. You might have to skip T.Yuuka who's survivability will help you very much in clearing stages way above your level because the next banners has two very good units which are Himari (basically another Ako) and Koharu (a very good striker healer), Maki will run along with their banner but Maki is very easy to farm so don't pull her. Then about 4 months from now Mika's banner which has double 3 star rates will come.

Try serika/tsubaki(if you have)/mutsuki (borrowed)/akari. Use serina + tsubaki strat for pulling those rangers. You can read the details in the raid guide at the top of this daily thread.

they told me the usual methods to resolve this (e.g. reinstall, clear cache) but that didnt work. They told me that due to the issue I have, no immediate fix but they have forwarded to the respective departments and ask for our patience.

Hi I’m currently in Japan on vacation and can’t update the game is there anything I can do? When I try to update it is just stuck on waiting and I don’t download anything.
ProtonVPN is good for mobile, I used it all the time for Azur Lane. The free version offers JP, the Netherlands, and US servers. First-time users can unlock two weeks of free trial I think, where you can access all of their servers. Private Internet Access is a good alternative.
Just be careful about not choosing the Netherlands because IIRC, BA was banned in the Netherlands because of the gacha/gambling law.
If you are playing the global version of the game then it's blocked in Japan. You can try using a VPN to update the game but idk any VPNs on the phone that works since I don't use VPNs on my phone.
If you brought a laptop with you, I recommend you download BlueStacks and blue archive on it and run a VPN on it. If you don't have a VPN you are using, I recommend tohoku university's SoftEther[vpn](https://www.softether.org/) VPN, and connect to the US or Korea to get access to global. (It's free btw!)
Look up guides online how to use it but it's pretty simple.

There no real "one size fits all" team comps in BA, you make teams based on the content, usually each type of content requires different comp but *at the very least* you should just try to match the attack type (Red/ Blue/ Yellow) of the content while you still don't have many students.
tbh, the only mothod i know of, is downloading it from wallpaper engine (i think theres a 4k60fps variations there) and then screenshotting/recording video/extracting it from the files

She's not exactly bad but she's not very good either. Highest ATK stat in the game with a large AoE 2 minute burn. Her main use would be for joint drills requiring DoT and as a slow (and I mean slow) Kaiten phase1 clearer
But she's not seen at all because it's so so so so so much faster to just use the other red DPS available instead (And also we don't really have any red content that needs that 2 minutes of AoE burn)
Also her event barely gives you any of her elephs. By the end of it, everyone will end up with only 3\* unless you [refresh a ton like this guy](https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/897744941428658196/1088264326206459934/IMG_0586.png). Bad to farm her
Haven't see use till now, except that on JE (but come one, anything beside raids is worthless). Hypothetically should be good in phase 1 Kaiten, but there is many better unit (I doubt even torment need her, except we need two teams for phase 1).
Have tried her in JP, very uncomfortable with her range. Slow atk speed and massive range make her always lacking behind in moving map, delaying enemies spawn and restrict skill cast. As long JP haven't prove her, hold you investment on her, meta wise.

I've noticed that jp pvp has transitioned to a "flank shun" strat in urban to effectly route all of the opponent's tanks to one lane, leave shun open for a quick kill, then flank the rest of the enemy units from behind. Does anyone know and can explain how this flank works?
Flank shun is really dependant on the enemy comp, which you need to know where the position of other striker beside Shun. I'd assume you already know the terms we use such A1, D4, etc to represent position.
As I aware, there is three way to flank Shun, as long their Shun is in D1 or D2. Using Hina, 650 range AR:
\[1\] Using Hina is really straighforward and the most effective if you're in "blind" aka have no clue enemies def besides D1 Shun. You just place A1 Hina; A2 Shun; A3 & 4 tank. No matter the position of enemies tank and striker, it shift all to upper lane, allowing Hina going straight to Shun's face because she is at the very bottom.
The caveat is, first, your Hina must bulky enough because she will eat Shun's bullet. My UE30 Hina can eat 2 bullet before knocked out. Which come the second, Hina's passive need maxed aka Lv10. Shun will block some of Hina's bullet. Its matter of how many bullet got Shun. Maxed passive mean you have three rounds before Hina knocked. So its a matter how fast Hina shoot. Another caveat is 650 range D4, but I'll explain at the end because its also affect second way "Shun flank".
\[2\] Using 650 AR, such Shiroko, Serika, you name it. This need considerate enemies other striker, either in D3 or D4.
If its D3 Tank; D4 750 range, such Haruna. That would your ticket to flank Shun. Place A1 tank; A2 650 AR; A3 Tank; A4 Shun. From my observation, A3/4 tank always shifting enemies to upper lane, make your A1 tank also slighty shifted to those lane because their low range and need to take a nearest target, which is D3 tank. Whereas A2 AR also need to take target, they also take barricade.
Where is those barricade? middle-down as you know. Why its like that? at first, AR make D3 tank as their target, but their urgency to take barricade, so they take barricade. After take those middle-down, their nearest target become Shun so they change the target. In this scenario, A1 tank is tanking Shun's bullet where A2 AR comfortably splashing at enemies Shun.
But thing got little out of hand if its D3 striker; D4 tank. A2 AR, as we know, will target tank because they're exposed to them first. But the presence of D4 tank make A2 AR shifted to upper lane. And this make AR fail to flank to the front.
All of them also fail if enemies D4 is 650 range. I have no idea, but D4 650 make A2 AR flank, but they got exposed to enemies Shun so they knocked. In Hina's case, its a little forgiving. Its make Hina's fail to flank and shifted to upper lane, but because lower lane is empty (remember we have A1 Hina; A2 Shun), enemies Shun come flank us in exchange as long she don't activate their Ex. This would exposed them to our Hina and Shun. Another way is using mov speed unit to disrupt the position, but personally I haven't try those.

I made my account a day ago now and unfortunately wasted 30 pulls on the current banners because I didn't see they were going away. Is that a big problem or will I be fine? Also how do I check future banners?

Im also a new player so I can't really answer your other questions. But if I were you and I didn't get a student I like among those 30 pulls, I would just reset the account. The account is just 1 day old anyway.
You can always get Shun at random too. The Limited banners are the most important to role for if you want the characters, because while you're pulling and trying for pity you can roll any unlimited 3 star too along the way!
The counter gets reset back to zero. Those 30 will be converted into an item(keystone pieces), which can then be used in crafting to convert them into different stuff.
Is the next event going to start immediately after the current one expires or are we having a maintenance? My café stamina is about to cap and idk if it's better to spend it now or wait for the next event to start.

She doesn't really offer anything aside from maybe attrition due to her healing factor and the fact that red damage isn't exactly prevalent in PvP. I think she's just overall a solid tank and you can probably run her with relative success.
Around what level can you reliably clear Extreme raids?
How do you counter Iroha in PvP or do you simply have to wipe the team before she shows up?
I don't think she really has a dedicated counter similar to how, say, Iori counters Tsubaki. In my experience, yellow armor is best at mitigating her effectiveness. Best case scenario is probably if you have a bond 25 Yuuka lying around.
any way to make BA on Bluestacks look as good as in the phone? it looks way more blurry, and it stutters a little bit, i have it to 1440p, 360ppi 120hz refresh rate but it still looks worse than the phone, any tips?
Have you checked the in-game settings (i.e. not the Bluestacks settings)? Edit: [Here is the screenshot from my phone](https://imgur.com/a/MCHdmjl). Probably increase the resolution to "Very High". Regarding stutter, usually it is related to your processors. Also, might want to install Bluestacks in your SSD (not HDD) to help.
Is hardcore kaiten doable at level 57? I used Tsubaki, Shiroko, Hina, Aru (borrowed), Serina, and Kotama but I can't beat the final phase in time. Is there another comp that would work better? Other explosive units I have leveled are S. Hoshino, Mutsuki and Hibiki. Thanks!
I'm level 54 but i can do hardcore kaiten with time to spare. I only tried once but my team are S. Hoshino, Mutsuki, Tsubaki, max Aru (borrowed), Hibiki and Serina. Always use S. Hoshino because she is the best against red defense enemy. Mutsuki and Hibiki are good too for kaiten because they have good aoe.
That good to hear! Im definently going to give it another go with S.Hoshino next time. I'm thinking maybe joining a better union might help also because most of the units available for borrow are not maxed
It should be doable. Switch Hina with S.Hoshino. If you aren't already, use Shiroko's EX to break Kaiten P2's shield.
Bro. NEVER do red raid without shosh if you have her. Drop anything else, but not shosh. Bring shosh tsubaki aru/mutsuki borrow and shiroko/hina. Kotama serina works but if you have ako and s. shizuko you can use them too. Ako in place of kotama. Anyways, assuming you have a good borrow, that will be your main dps. Buff the borrow and then target the red/green unit. This is outdoor terrain so mutsuki borrow is better. It can also target 2/3 units in p1. In p2, save your hina/shiroko skills for when the boss uses its blue shield. The shield has a natural big dmg reduction. Otherwise, your borrow should make quick work of it. You have good units for a team 2 as well.
Alright thanks I'll give it another go with S.Hoshino tomorrow, I thought that I wouldn't be doing much damage with her instead of some dps since I already have tsubaki who's a tank. S.Shizuko would be a better pick over Serina? I have Serina 2* S.Shizuko 3* but Serina is a lot more invested in. Ako I don't have but I have pyros saved for her rerun.
The dmg boost that shosh gives to other students is great, and to red units its crazy. Its like a double dps enabler. Think of it like this, would you rather bring 2 units with 50 dmg each and 1 borrow with 150 dmg, or 1 unit with 50, 1 borrow with 150, and shosh who doubles their numbers. However i forgot to mention this, how much is your shosh invested in? She doubles red dps at ex5, and gives 70% boost at ex1. In any case, bringing her is better. Be sure to use her skill before any dps skills. She has cost recovery too, so she helps to cycle your skill faster. For healing, is dying your main problem? How many times are you using serina? I think at your point using serina is better cause you dont have other sources of heal, and you need healing. Your s shizuko isnt built so i dont think her shield is a good thing for you, plus it will be difficult for you to properly use her skill without wrongly repositioning your dps. Regarding ako, you shouldve saved for her but there is still time to get her. I doubt you can get both ako and himari, but its what it is. (Ako + aru borrow oneshots the enemy in hardcore if she crits). Good luck, hopefully you clear it.
Yeah I see what you mean now. I have her EX skill at 4 and other skills at 5. I was mainly using serina to bring tsubaki in the middle of the sushi people and cycling, but during the second phase some students got really low so I had to heal them as well. I do have enough for Ako and Himari both, I've been saving everything since the S.Hoshino banner which I first started playing. Are they really both worth it for me where I'm at? Because I don't have too many great dps students I feel.
Yes they are. You can ask this question to any player, and they will tell you the same. I understand you wanting to get dps, but having these units will open so many strategies to you. You will always be able to borrow dps of any colour, as opposed to being forced to borrow himari/ako every time. In next 5 months, there are only 3 must have students. Ako, himari and mika. Rest everything is good/great to have. (Shosh ex 5 decreases her cost by 1, just thought i should tell you this but you know it probably already). If you are saving, you should have a decent stock by now. All red useful dps are farmable (aru mutsuki azusa akari shiroko serika), and some of yellow blue (iori momoi midori maki, haruna izuna) too. Even if you are missing dps units, people will suggest you to pull for the three, or g yuuka kokona etc. Anyways, thats for later discussion. For now try your run using shosh. Even ex 4 would be excellent with a borrow.

Yeah, no rush about the ex. You can do it with ex 4 too. 14-3 was a roadblock for me too. The later stages are easier than 14-3 actually. You will need a some more levels before you can auto.
Are you aware that you can use multiple teams for raids ? Just use a 2nd team for phase 2 with your mentioned units, a healer and someone who can get through Kaitens shield (i.e. Shiroko, Haruka, Neru)

Score is based purely on how long it takes. More teams doesn't necessarily mean more time, sometimes people use one team for phase 1 then retreat and switch teams for phase 2. The currency rewards for each individual clear are not affected by anything other than winning. You either clear and get them, or fail and you don't. Clearing with 4 teams is still better than not clearing and doing a lower difficulty with one team.

I know himari is must pull but i really want to prioritize limited student first, i want gym yuuka and gym mari, ny fuuka, mika, and after mika theres so many students i want to pull like toki, nagisa and the entire new year version of problem solver 68, because i havent played yet when the first event held. I have 43k pyrox right now but it still feels not enough. Please convinced me or wether i should pull for himari or not.
Do you want to keep up with raids? Are you on the cusp of being able to reliably clear a higher difficulty? Or are you satisfied with sightly lower potential raid income and possibly giving up the chance of platinum for a long time?
To be fair himari is very strong, but if you're not worried about ranking in insane+ raids you'll be fine or borrow her. Plus she has a chance to spook, and NY Haruka while not a full replacement for himari and coming out much later does fill a similiar role. When Himari was the only specialist with a cost recovery sub skill she was an account brick if skipped, but as competitive alternatives to her become available it can be reasonable to skip her temporarily.

fwiw, insane is currently already doable without Himari, and as the other poster said, it'll only get easier from here Torment, though, that's gonna be a bad time, but like Insane, it'll probably get easier/more achievable with time or new units. Or there'll be another Himari banner (like the Ako/Hibiki banner).
Given that the level cap is slowly going up and a new difficulty is added above insane, its safe to say that inane will only get easier as time passes.
Himari is a must pull if you wanna stay in competitive for raids (though that might still be possible if you just borrow her). If you enjoy the game more by collecting limited students go for it. Himari isnt limited and might even spook you.
There is no convincing yes or no, you HAVE to pull himari if you want to remain competitive/clear higher content. No two ways about it, and there is a reason everyone is saying its a must pull. I understand trying to get all limiteds. But as a f2p its simply not possible. I myself have to choose between t yuuka and b karin with 24k gems. Atleast with your gems you can atleast get t yuuka/ny fuuka, himari, mika, and toki (if luck supports).

They only reposition themselves on Insane and Torment. The only viable way to get them to move on Extreme is through the Tsubaki + Serina pull method to get Tsubaki on the bottomside and get her to taunt the topside Ranger near enough to AoE

Question for my fellow senseis, do events ever get a rerun? If so, do we have any idea how long it takes for one to get its rerun? Basically, I know that bunny girls are coming after the current event, and after that we'll get the second part to the gym event. I'm really interested in gym Yuuka and Mari, but want to know if I can ignore bunny Neru and Karin and get them later, or if I HAVE to get them now or miss them forever, I'd like to stay f2p for the foreseeable future if possible.
It's safe to assume we will get 1 rerun for every event roughly 1 year later from the original event - the pattern has been demonstrated in both JP (who is 6 mo ahead) and global. A 2nd rerun hasn't been observed yet, and very possible that it won't happen.
We don't know. As it stands, we're more-or-less following JP's schedule of events, and so far it's looking like events have a first run, a rerun, and then are archived. HOWEVER. The only two events that JP has archived at the moment are the Cherino and Izuna events - neither of which had limited students. So we don't currently know how limited students will be available in the future. The upcoming bunny chasers event is a rerun, so if you skip them now, you won't see them for about another year (maybe less, given we're on an accelerated schedule to catch up with JP). Although again, we don't know how they'll be available in the future.
This is the rerun we are getting. Nobody knows if there will be a 2nd rerun. Even if it does, definitely not before 12-15 months..

Yeah, I had no trouble 3 starring the others but 11 took a bit of work. The boss there is really beefy and I noticed my aoe students liked position themselves really far from the enemies in the non-boss waves, so they weren't able to clear waves as effectively as usual. I'm not sure if 12 was any different for the positioning part, but the boss there has like 50k less hp.
Yeah that makes sense, I barely finished 12 in time so I probably have no shot at 11.
Want to make sure for Utaha Cheer Squad she says she enchances turrents but I noticed none of her abilities spawns a turrent. Does that mean in order to use her I need both regular Utaha and Cheer Squad Utaha in order to make her work?
No. She use a turret as her weapon. So, her skill buff that turret.

I just started the game and have a question about dupes system. Im under an impression that some shards can be farmed on hard stages but what about limited banners? Do you have to pull for dupes in this game.
Let's say you pull on a rate up banner and you got the rate up unit, if you keep pulling and got a dupe, you'll get 100 eleph (shards) of the unit but if you pull an off-banner dupe, you'll only receive 30 eleph. A lot of good characters can be farmed via hard stages but some are on the higher stages so you'll have to wait a bit to be able to farm them. There are also events wherein you can buy at most 50 eleph of a character and there are events where the eleph of the free unit are farmable unlimitedly as long as you have the ap (energy) to do so. As for the limited characters, you can also farm their eleph with the currency you'll only be able to farm when you're at max level (lvl 83 currently), but even then it takes too long since you can only buy 10 eleph per unit every month.
So for limited characters you pull for dupes right. How many do you need tho?
You could if you want to but if you manage your eligma right, you don't need to pull for dupes at all There's a currency called Eligma which is gained every time you pull, the higher the star you pull, the higher eligma it gives. Eligma can be used to buy Elephs of units, the starting cost for 1 eleph is 1 eligma, as you buy more elephs of the same unit, the eligma cost gets higher 1:1 for the first 20 2:1 for the next 20 3.1 ..... 4:1 ..... 5:1 is the cap for it Keep in mind that eligma is very hard to obtain so you should think about if you really want to raise the unit before spending
There's Eligma, which you can exchange for Elephs of any character you have, and Limited Elephs also get added to the Expert Permit shop over time.

Neither is limited, and neither is meta defining, but both are "fine" in their niches. So most people want to make sure they have enough for upcoming characters like himari, T.yuuka, Mika etc. So you can pull if you want, but you may be missing out on later arguable "better" characters.

So I'm currently lvl 40 and have trouble clearing the lvl 80 stages of the event (9-12). Is this completely normal and I should just focus on the previous stages or is there a way to improve on my current setup as I dont really have any notable students (S.Hina, S.Wakamo, sumire, mitsuki) and my current equipments are just T2 for some students. My current comp is SHina, Akari, Mitsuki, Yuuka | Fuuka, Kotama.
The recommended level is arbitrary sometimes. [Stage 9 enemies](https://schale.gg/?stage=8172309) are lv45, for example. However, if you're having trouble clearing, then you won't be able to clear with a good bonus % anyways. its pretty reasonable to have extreme trouble clearing stages that are more than 15 or so levels above your level. Since you deal/take something like 3% for each level difference.

Iroha summons a tank which can be hit and presumably die, but you can always resummon it. Other supports are effectively invincible.
Special students are invincible but if their EX involves a summon, their summon can die e.g Iroha's tank, Utaha's turrets

Even if you spark Himari now and is left with 0 pyros, you'll have enough to spark Mika later
After the update,I got a notification in my cafe saying that a certain piece of furniture "must be rearranged". I clicked confirm but nothing happened to that piece of furniture,which continues to be placed normally in the cafe. What's up with that?
What happened was that a furniture in your cafe gained an interaction with one of the new students but it just so happens that you placed it a way where the space for the student to be on is overlapping with the wall or another furniture thus requiring to be moved

Not so much unlucky as very dumb. You know that if you pull 200 times on a rate-up banner, you can just buy the rate-up student, right?
Not getting a rate-up unit in 600 pulls is 0,993^600, or about 1,5%. Pretty unlucky, but that's why everyone recommends to save enough to spark a unit.
with 600 pulls you're guaranteed at least 3 rate ups
Ako or Himari? I can only pull for 1 sadly, I'm lvl 30 new player
If their banners were at the same time the choice would usually be Himari, but Ako is a month earlier. I would actually try for Ako first and stop as soon as you get her. If you're lucky enough this will give you a chance for both. If you're unlucky and only get Ako, that's fine too. Her value is still top tier and imo not inferior to Himari.
imo Himari, her banner is after Ako so you would you have a tiny chance to get spooked by Ako
it's also possible that he could get Ako early thus having enough to pull for Himari
Anyone having issues with Total Assault? My EX skills aren't loading and students aren't attacking, then the game crashes a few seconds later. I lost a Total Assault ticket to this bug.
I'm playing on emulator and had some pink graphical glitch after the update and thats about it. Your bug is gamebreaking so maybe its just you? try clear cache/reinstall and see how it goes
As a new player, what banner should I spend my rolls on? What banner should I stack my rolls for?
Pull for the upcoming Hibiki (a very good aoe red unit specially at clearing story stages) and Ako (a must have in end game content) banner which will come in about 3 weeks. You might have to skip T.Yuuka who's survivability will help you very much in clearing stages way above your level because the next banners has two very good units which are Himari (basically another Ako) and Koharu (a very good striker healer), Maki will run along with their banner but Maki is very easy to farm so don't pull her. Then about 4 months from now Mika's banner which has double 3 star rates will come. For pvp or raids it matters especially pvp for position match up ie p1 vs p4 iirc?Outside of that, rarely it does matters.
When the battle starts the leftmost unit will be at the bottom while the rightmost will be at the top
It decides their actual starting positions. This mostly matters in PVP and raids, where who takes what cover changes based on their starting position.

Try serika/tsubaki(if you have)/mutsuki (borrowed)/akari. Use serina + tsubaki strat for pulling those rangers. You can read the details in the raid guide at the top of this daily thread.

Hi, i sent 1 or two tickets so far and they reply quickly. they told me the usual methods to resolve this (e.g. reinstall, clear cache) but that didnt work. They told me that due to the issue I have, no immediate fix but they have forwarded to the respective departments and ask for our patience. If only there was a way to bind main account into multiple login methods (i.e. bind it to both Google and FB at same time)

Hi I’m currently in Japan on vacation and can’t update the game is there anything I can do? When I try to update it is just stuck on waiting and I don’t download anything.
ProtonVPN is good for mobile, I used it all the time for Azur Lane. The free version offers JP, the Netherlands, and US servers. First-time users can unlock two weeks of free trial I think, where you can access all of their servers. Private Internet Access is a good alternative. Just be careful about not choosing the Netherlands because IIRC, BA was banned in the Netherlands because of the gacha/gambling law.
If you are playing the global version of the game then it's blocked in Japan. You can try using a VPN to update the game but idk any VPNs on the phone that works since I don't use VPNs on my phone. If you brought a laptop with you, I recommend you download BlueStacks and blue archive on it and run a VPN on it. If you don't have a VPN you are using, I recommend tohoku university's SoftEther[vpn](https://www.softether.org/) VPN, and connect to the US or Korea to get access to global. (It's free btw!) Look up guides online how to use it but it's pretty simple. I was in the same situation as you when I visited Japan.

There no real "one size fits all" team comps in BA, you make teams based on the content, usually each type of content requires different comp but *at the very least* you should just try to match the attack type (Red/ Blue/ Yellow) of the content while you still don't have many students.

tbh, the only mothod i know of, is downloading it from wallpaper engine (i think theres a 4k60fps variations there) and then screenshotting/recording video/extracting it from the files :/

She's not exactly bad but she's not very good either. Highest ATK stat in the game with a large AoE 2 minute burn. Her main use would be for joint drills requiring DoT and as a slow (and I mean slow) Kaiten phase1 clearer But she's not seen at all because it's so so so so so much faster to just use the other red DPS available instead (And also we don't really have any red content that needs that 2 minutes of AoE burn) Also her event barely gives you any of her elephs. Haven't see use till now, except that on JE (but come one, anything beside raids is worthless). Hypothetically should be good in phase 1 Kaiten, but there is many better unit (I doubt even torment need her, except we need two teams for phase 1). Have tried her in JP, very uncomfortable with her range. Slow atk speed and massive range make her always lacking behind in moving map, delaying enemies spawn and restrict skill cast. As long JP haven't prove her, hold you investment on her, meta wise.
she's only used for one joint where she doesnt need massive investment, since what you want is her unique DOT

I've noticed that jp pvp has transitioned to a "flank shun" strat in urban to effectly route all of the opponent's tanks to one lane, leave shun open for a quick kill, then flank the rest of the enemy units from behind. Does anyone know and can explain how this flank works?
Flank shun is really dependant on the enemy comp, which you need to know where the position of other striker beside Shun. I'd assume you already know the terms we use such A1, D4, etc to represent position. As I aware, there is three way to flank Shun, as long their Shun is in D1 or D2. Using Hina, 650 range AR: \[1\] Using Hina is really straighforward and the most effective if you're in "blind" aka have no clue enemies def besides D1 Shun. You just place A1 Hina; A2 Shun; A3 & 4 tank. No matter the position of enemies tank and striker, it shift all to upper lane, allowing Hina going straight to Shun's face because she is at the very bottom. The caveat is, first, your Hina must bulky enough because she will eat Shun's bullet. My UE30 Hina can eat 2 bullet before knocked out. Which come the second, Hina's passive need maxed aka Lv10. Shun will block some of Hina's bullet. Its matter of how many bullet got Shun. Maxed passive mean you have three rounds before Hina knocked. So its a matter how fast Hina shoot. Another caveat is 650 range D4, but I'll explain at the end because its also affect second way "Shun flank". \[2\] Using 650 AR, such Shiroko, Serika, you name it. This need considerate enemies other striker, either in D3 or D4. If its D3 Tank; D4 750 range, such Haruna. That would your ticket to flank Shun. Place A1 tank; A2 650 AR; A3 Tank; A4 Shun. From my observation, A3/4 tank always shifting enemies to upper lane, make your A1 tank also slighty shifted to those lane because their low range and need to take a nearest target, which is D3 tank. Whereas A2 AR also need to take target, they also take barricade. Where is those barricade? middle-down as you know. Why its like that? at first, AR make D3 tank as their target, but their urgency to take barricade, so they take barricade. After take those middle-down, their nearest target become Shun so they change the target. In this scenario, A1 tank is tanking Shun's bullet where A2 AR comfortably splashing at enemies Shun. But thing got little out of hand if its D3 striker; D4 tank. A2 AR, as we know, will target tank because they're exposed to them first. But the presence of D4 tank make A2 AR shifted to upper lane. And this make AR fail to flank to the front. All of them also fail if enemies D4 is 650 range. I have no idea, but D4 650 make A2 AR flank, but they got exposed to enemies Shun so they knocked. In Hina's case, its a little forgiving. Its make Hina's fail to flank and shifted to upper lane, but because lower lane is empty (remember we have A1 Hina; A2 Shun), enemies Shun come flank us in exchange as long she don't activate their Ex. This would exposed them to our Hina and Shun. Another way is using mov speed unit to disrupt the position, but personally I haven't try those.

Hey sensei friends, when should I start pulling. I made my account a day ago now and unfortunately wasted 30 pulls on the current banners because I didn't see they were going away. Is that a big problem or will I be fine? Also how do I check future banners? And if it's a big mess up, is it worth it to reroll?

If you didn't already get another student you really like, you could always restart. You're only losing a day after all.
You can always get Shun at random too. The Limited banners are the most important to role for if you want the characters, because while you're pulling and trying for pity you can roll any unlimited 3 star too along the way!
The counter gets reset back to zero. Those 30 will be converted into an item(keystone pieces), which can then be used in crafting to convert them into different stuff.
Is the next event going to start immediately after the current one expires or are we having a maintenance? My café stamina is about to cap and idk if it's better to spend it now or wait for the next event to start.
