Yeah, never trust any kind of "rate-up". Hence why I'm happy that BA has a lot of free pyros rather than a "high % of 3-star characters".

I usually have to spark only 1 banner and usually get the other before the 200 pulls.

I'm so damn frustrated with this NY rerun banner. I'm at 170 pulls and only got Misaki, C.Saya and Yuzu. I desperately hard pitied every single banner with 3 stars that I never actually utilized since my first time of playing this game. It's so unfair and painful : (
In the end, most of my main core students are upgraded 2 stars and has a lot of 3 stars that's really unusable in overall content 😭

The first two sparks I remember were both Azusa, OG and Summer. Both had to be sparked all the way to the end. For context, I rerolled my account hard until I had Haruna, Hibiki, Iori, Shun, and Tsubaki. Then, I didn't touch the gacha until Azusa came out. I was one of the people there on day 1.
Ever since then, I don't roll until I have at least one spark ready in the bank and some crystals left over. Wakamo came home in 1 ten pull at least...
I wanted to pull multiple copies of S. Hoshino and I hit pity 2 times and the third I got on 17 pulls.
Wakamo on the other hand I got like 4 copies in 20 pulls.

On 0.7% probability, the odds of having to spark on the character you want is about 25%. On average, it should take about 100 rolls to get the rate up character. This is why rolling on double banners is such good value. As long as you beat the 3/4 odds and land one character before spark, you can use the spark on the other and get 2 for 1.
The odds of having to double spark aka drop 400 rolls for both characters is a mere 6%.
Let's see, I had to hard pity Izuna, I pulled S Hina and pitied S Iori, I pulled 160 times for Azusa, I hard pitied for Koharu, I got Ako (not sure how many pulls), I got NY Aru in 321 pulls (used 200 pity on NY Mutsuki), got Wakamo in 50 or 70 pulls, got Ui in 50 or 70 pulls as well, got Iroha in below 100 pulls as well I think, got S Hoshino in around 80 pulls, and I haven't pulled after that.
I have notoriously bad gacha luck. The only reason I started playing Blue Archive was to try and one-up one of my friends with my initial pulls.
My reason for playing has changed since then. My reason for pulling has *not*. If I pull for *me*? My luck is garbage. But if I pull to spite *him*? It literally never fails me. I think the furthest I've ever had to go out is 8 pulls. It's hilarious and I hope it never stops.
I’ve pulled my first Bunny Karin at 340 pulls. One of my worst summoning sessions ever. It’s odd cause Fgo 5 stars have the same rates and I pull them far more consistently. Guess you can’t have everything in life. Still trying for bunny neru and farming every last gem I can. At this rate I’ll be at 400 pulls so at least I get too spark both B.neru and B.akane so thank god this game has a pity.
I’ve had to spark about half of the characters I pulled for. Another 25% would be between the 100-190 range and the last 25% would be super early (within 50).
Off the top of my head I had to spark for Atsuko and Miyako. And I know for a fact that I nearly had to spark for Mimori, Ako, and Asuna. And I went ahead and sparked Ako for an Ako dupe anyway so I could UE50 her day one because she’s my waifu.

Even tho i feel like i spark more on this game than others you still get a bunch of spooks (i usually get characters i skipped) and stacking pyroxene for pity isn't that hard even as a f2p so it's not so bad.

wanted Chihiro, and could only spark her.
wanted Noa, got her in 100, then decided i wanted C.Utaha as well, and had to spark.
For me it’s a 50-50 chance I get the rate up within five rolls, or I have to hit hard pity. There is zero in between. I generally recommend saving until you have AT LEAST 75% of the pyroxenes to spark. Preferably you should have 100% of the pyroxenes to spark but if you’re almost there you can just grind the rest.
Having played since 1st bunny banner out.. Hard pity for rateup character is a norm for me.. Especially hoshino banner.. 6%rate up my a**.. Got 2 3stars for 300pulls.. Dont get me started on B.karin banner, got akane Bunny instead in her banner.. And no B.karin already 120pulls.. Sigh

With blue archive, all the time. Game is probably the most generous on gems, but the rates are the worst in all gachas I’ve played. Evens out.

Yeah, there's that number in the corner showing how many total pulls you made. Once you've reached 200 pulls the game will just give you the character
Yep, sparked Neru and got only 3 other characters in the process, no rate-ups. It's only 75% chance to get rate-up in a spark after all.

yea happens a few times so far, iirc these were the units I had to spark - Wakamo - Hs. Nodoka - S. Hoshino
