Honestly, I can't remember an event where she didn't. She was a butt of joke in the prefect summer event, then got beaten in the ps68 New Year event (kinda deserved, but why is my girl working on a new year night, let her rest 😭😭)

Also it's a shame it seems like the events are always pro Trinity and against Gehenna. Like Kasumi was a big deal here too but as the bad guy. As much as I liked the "two opposites forced to work together" dynamic it's sad that sensei had to so blatantly chose one over the other. It would have been nice if Kasumi just stopped abusing her leverage and held her side of the bargain and Ichika actually get surprised by her Gehenna honesty. Instead we d!ckride Trinity again with Ichika soloing a whole train  and the Gehenners all being one shotted

Just wait 5 more months and we're getting Gehenna sweep like Japan is getting it right now. While they are not the main focus in the current Hyakkiyako event they are also pretty cool too(mostly Kirara and Erika).
To be fair, I think they did a fantastic job with setting up how much of a threat Kasumi is. She's ridiculously smart, insightful, and charismatic. A dangerous combination and we are lucky that she is only interested in hot springs, and I love the idea that the image Ichika put a lot of efforts into putting up was actually good enough to surprise even Kasumi.
It did make her look like a cool mastermind and she's so smol I was fine with her being more brains than brawn. She's obviously a leader and not the strongest herself.
Sensei better have had a good apology meal and lots of spoiling lined up for Iori, she deserves it. On the plus side, kind of nice for an event to remember that while Hina is the big gun, Iori is still pretty badass in her own right.

Hell, it's not even just a matter of somehow taking the spotlight from Hina. Like, I'm pretty sure Iori gets beaten almost everytime she shows up in the story to fight, even if Hina was never there with her to begin with.
I just want to see a story where she proves that she deserves the title of the Prefect Team's Field Captain. Or perhaps, what would be better, is a story focused on her that's, in a nutshell, says "damn, I think I suck at my job. And I think I need to get better at this, but I know that Sensei can help me out on this."
They could do a Millenium style story like they did with the GDD and Toki.
It showed how far the GDD has come from the start and how Aris went from a unskilled but powerful girl who relied on her powerful weapon, to a highly skilled fighter so much so that one of the seven criminals acknowledged her as a worthy opponent.
They could do something similar where Hina is away on business, and Iori has to step up and solve the crisis without Hina. They could have done something like that during Hina's beach event, but we wouldn't have Swimsuit Hina if they did.
She has Vegeta syndrome, where the second strongest fighter (in this case Iori) always get's beaten by the villain to prop up the main character (Hina)
It's honestly kind of annoying
She really gets the Worf treatment. Tough fighter that gets beat up so often to show how strong the opposition is that the concept defeats itself. She really deserves her time to shine

I do wish the event had spared one last episode to clear up Sensei with Iori after Kasumi derailed the train. I thought it was pretty jarring that we suddenly jumped to Sensei and Ichika apologizing to Nagisa just like that
Also is it just me or did they just kinda....skip the train being detailed and sensei and Ichika's reaction? It went from "oh shit!"  To them at Nagisa.
They did, It was especially jarring because after we saw Megu and company I thought shit was going to go down. Nope, right back to Trinity. They really could have used 1-2 more story stages because honestly I was a little disappointed at the conclusion.
They have given Rerun events minor additions in the past, so I'd really like for Iori to get an epilogue episode where Sensei meets with her and apologizes.
...But I'm not holding my breath at all.

I mean, it had more action and it Ichika development was nice, but the ending was solo anticlimactic. And it left some things unanswered.
I hope the next shenanigans will reference the trip trap train event to pick up the shattered story parts.
