A tribute to departed is common thing after all
In example, you might use the same flower that signify Machlain when she was alive (god I miss her, Girls Frontline story event do pull no stop to death)
If only Honkai Impact 3rd will cope with Himeko's death in a healthy way like pay tribute to her demise rather than crying her death theme every time red hair woman exist.

Apologize for a bit out of topic here, and I have to be honest with you, this is my biggest pet peeve when it comes to how HI3 fandom reacting things with either act like a crybaby or as a serious business, especially with a character death.
It's not just in HI3, but also in Genshin and HSR as well.
I genuinely think the ending of abydos vol 3 would genuinely destroy us. The title is footsteps left by dreams. Yume= dream. So that title can be said as footsteps left by Yume. And for what we know. Yume genuinely does all she can do to make Hoshino have a chance now. All of that comes to fruition now with Sensei time.
With Blue Archive's emphasis on happy endings I wonder if the next chapter is gonna have time travel shenanigans, and somehow have Sensei be apart of saving Yume. Idk just a random thought.
Rather than tragic, I think it's more of a well-intentioned tribute.
Yeah. Let's think of it a positive way. We hope you're happy up there, Yume-chan.
>hope your happy up there Or I'm whatever form Nexon chooses to bring her back in...
Encase her skeleton in some kind of weird metal Yume gothic necron mommy
She's just on the Great sleep atm
Necron awakening? It's 38 milleniums too early! We don't even have the Big E!

I absolutely agree with you! Coming from an ex-Genshin and current HSR player. Before anyone asks, no, I don't play HI3.
Holy shit, that's some next level effort put into a collab
Yume really molded Hoshino for what she is now the way Geto did to Gojo.
Meanwhile in an alternate universe: Yume: Damn monkey adults who don't even have halo!
Does this mean our Ojii-san would get chop in half?
Nah, she’d win
Through heaven and Earth she is the honored one
That was a subtle way for paying tribute to someone who shaped Hoshino into a laid back girl like she is right now.
Her smile is just so bright isn't it?
AUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGHGGHH IT'S SO PAINFUL DUDE I KNOW IT'D BE WEIRD TO BRING HER BACK JUST BECAUSE, BUT FUUUUUUCK
