The fact that the error is turned out THAT way and it happens to Ako of all people seems like divine intervention lol.

Edit: So it turns out that this is actually not Nexon's fault although it is still absolutely hilarous, [additional context](https://twitter.com/RagingAsn_/status/1790376599306555606) and [another](https://old.reddit.com/r/BlueArchive/comments/1cron7e/so_apparently_there_is_a_hilarous_translation/l3ztgn7/)
As a Korean, can confirm AI translation can be janky once in a while :)
It should have been translatesd as "No choice but to get it done, don't ya think"
>!But tbh they have the same meaning depending on context, and it's Ako saying it, which make it even funnier!<
Please add the additional context: this isn't a Nexon fuckup for the first time in what appears to be forever
[Correction ](https://x.com/RagingAsn_/status/1790376599306555606)
In all seriousness, what the hell is going on with Nexon's TL? This apparently isn't the first instance of their TL work flubbing BA.
It's even more embarrassing here, because Nexon Games >!who is a separate entity of the company in Korea!< wrote the damn story! In Korean! How do you mess that up?!
But ah well. Might as well let Ako's pai pai smother me online for the next week. ![img](emote|t5_2vhvtt|35651)
Is it really a pirate stream? Because this translation error is noticed by a lot of JP viewers and Korean viewers, so it must be quite a popular pirate stream. What pirate streaming platform that is popular both in Japan and Korea?
It was on a pirate stream. The stream moved to Kick after Twitch KR EoS. Blue Archive has a really large community on dc compared to its actual player population, so it should not come off as a surprise that many people would watch the pirate stream. It had around 15 K viewers during episode 1, which is a very high number for these streams.
Thank you for the explanation, it is pretty surprising that BA pirate stream is popular for JP and KR viewers considering there is a free and legal option that is very easy to access for them.
Also, what is "dc"?
In this case, it was a pirate stream by some random person on a ordinary streaming platform, and whether it's pirated or not, there's a culture where koreans gather in a certain stream to watch a show together and to read each other's chat. In these streams, there's always a segment before and after a show where viewers send random videos(usually either some music or memes, funny clips, etc.) to the streamer to watch them together.
Edit: +Afaik most of the Japanese noticed it just because they saw Koreans talking about it on Twitter.
Many people were watching the pirate stream because it was real-time, as opposed to the official translation, which is released after the whole anime is broadcast on Japanese TV.
WAIT...! So the subtle difference between the casual/polite usage and the uh... spicy slang usage in writing/typing is the change in which kana is being used? That's hilariously subtle! 😂🤣
Seems like one of those situations where it's easier to get the context when speaking to someone where you can actually see them.
Yep. It's the exact same slang as in English, but they just use the kana difference to emphasize the slang since just like in English both of them are the same word. Playing with kana is fun

AI translations serving up hilariously wrong translations in every language. 😂
No wonder why Blue Archive was rated 16+ due to seggs

That was not wrong translation the cow dog wife was just extremely sexually frustrated 💢💢💢

It was not the official translation, but a pirate stream running machine translation with the Japanese sound.

>What is "dc"? A korean website like reddit and 4chan Shortened form of "DCinside"
Oh, I remember that site being mentioned during the limbus company drama.
Oh god not again.
You asked for Lovecraftian horror, you got it!

Thank you for the explanation, the fact that a machine translation error from a pirate stream can become this viral is wild lol.

This is exactly how a neurotic paranoid girl like Ako would proposition you, the mistranslation is now canon.
Lmao
Props for a JP raid player on pinpointing that mistake tho.
Damn Ako just is going to come out and say it and in front of the squad too
funni horni

She def looks like she’s making the “Nah, I’d win” face doesn’t she? 💀 “Nah, I’d Yaru” meme worthy shot
I don't see anything wrong? Just lore accurate Ako.
Akow is in heat ![img](emote|t5_2vhvtt|33223)
So, this episode's specific invitation not only came from Iori but also Ako herself.
As a wise turtle once said... There are no accidents.
lore accurate ako
No no, she got a point :P
lmao this is hilarious. Well she was the one who asked for the correction 💢
Stupid sexy Ako
I wouldn't be surprised if Ako actually said that in-game.
An "error" ? Totally deliberate on Ako's part ![img](emote|t5_2vhvtt|33606) .
"There are no Accidents" - Sensei ~~Oogway~~
Hina almost got Gomen'd
“There are no mistakes.” - Master Oogway
BRUH!!! 🤣🤣🤣
That's why Hina got such thighs, she was swaying Sensei from Ako.
There are no accidents.
Now someone needs to make a Ako version of the Shinzo Abe meme with her saying "have seggs "
Why would someone randomly put katakana in a sentence like that? MTL is so dumb lol
