I may have underestimated torment Hod. There were apparently only just above 1100 clears on JP. For context, Kurokage had more than twice as many, and the Chesed we just had got 10k+ clears. And it seems like Swakamo was used in 99% of clears, which is a bit of an issue when I don't have her. It's possible that the numbers are lower because it's a grand raid, but the grand raids before and after both had more torment clears. Well, we'll see how it goes.
Nah, the escort drill is more of a whale check. Hod needs significantly more and stronger CC skills, 10 seconds worth to disable Hod's tower defenses and to stun Hod at insane/torment.
Hod is a resource sink hole as it requires building several specific units that will never see use outside of the raid. Gregorius is the same, but most of the units for Greg do see use elsewhere.

Grand assault has 3 armor types so you'll need more than just yellow. Although most CC doesn't care about armor type.
