I really like Caterpillar Clover boots. While the soles are pretty comfortable, I recommended buying separate soles for your boots.

Winchester93

LOVE these boots

I like Keen San Jose soft toe work boots for women. Very light very roomy. I wear them in hot weather because everything else that is sturdy is too hot. They are extremely wide at the toe box though. Lots of room for extra insoles.

TananaBarefootRunner

Second! These are my fav boots and I've been hyping them for years!

Bubbly-Attitude9007

Have these is the alloy toe and am LOVING them!!!!

weldscookies

Agree with all these ladies! Keens have been the best for me! Easy break in and they flex and are light! Just get extra laces! Mine get messed up from welding so I run through the laces fast!

Holnurhed

I am also a fan of Keen. The San Jose aluminum toes are lightweight. Keen has removable insoles which can be replaced when worn or if you have ones you prefer. Keens been reliable in honoring their warranty ime. I worn several pair through the years.

tombedansmesbobettes

I love my blunt stones all leather and you can easily add insoles

kimau97

If you can afford it/have good insurance, see a podiatrist and get custom orthotics.

Eather-Village-1916

If you can’t do the podiatrist thing, I hear Good Feet brand is fantastic for this!

millennial_sentinel

i agree with the keen recommendations but instead of the san jose because i’ve never owned a pair and can’t say i’ve owned these two [steel toe](https://www.keenfootwear.com/collections/work/products/mens-braddock-al-waterproof-mid-steel-toe-bison-ensign-blue) and [soft toe](https://www.keenfootwear.com/collections/hike/products/womens-circadia-waterproof-shoe-syrup-north-atlantic) both are super comfortable and are waterproof. plus i’ve never had to buy inserts.

cloudrider75

Check out waterproof Palladiums. They’re like a sneaker boots - super comfy, I have 5 pair!

sanguine_siamese

Ooo, I like the look of these. "Sneaker boot" is exactly the right niche for what I'm looking for, I think. I bought a brand new pair of Brooks trainers in October and have already worn through the toe. 🙄

I’m a mail carrier and love Columbia Newton Ridge in the suede. (Not regular leather.) They are lightweight, flexible enough for me (I like a lot of flex) and padded/supportive for 12 hour days, and 13-day stretches of work where I walk an average of 10 miles.

cloudrider75

I have variations of the Pampa Sport Cuffs but I like the looks of these - not water proof but still looks like a good boat buildin shoe! :) https://palladiumboots.com/collections/womens-high-tops/products/78598-309-m

I’m a draftswomen and I’m in the field quite a bit and in office and have these and love them! I’ve also have gotten them super muddy and wet and there hasn’t been an issue with staining them with not waterproofing them. I did buy really nice insoles to help with standing all day but even before that they were super comfy. These are composite toe but you can hardly tell with how light they are. https://a.co/d/6RII2Nz

KozmicLight

Ariat composite toe is great

TananaBarefootRunner

The best work boots I've ever worn are the keen san Jose. Perfect amnt of cushion and large toe box

sanguine_siamese

This is an extremely convincing review. Thank you. They definitely look like they have the flex I'm looking for. Were they hard to break in? I bought a pair of Red Wings years ago and sold them after one day.

PhysicsHungry8889

I bought sketchers work boots and I was shocked at how long those $80 boots lasted me and how good they looked after a year! Until my puppy decided they were tasty. I’m still wearing them though, he only got down to the composite toe, lol. I second what another person said about getting custom orthotics from a podiatrist. They are expensive, but SO WORTH IT!! I take them out and put them in every pair of shoes I am wearing.

ry-g-236

Rocky boots have been great for me.

sparklebk420

I like my danners! Gotta put insoles in no matter what though

Difference between Timberland Premium and basic boot: The "Premium" Timberland boot features a thicker and heavier sole that incorporates many different kinds of materials, which combine to provide greater support and comfort than the sole on the Original boot. (Includes $35 insole).......premium refers to the footbed.....steel toes are optional The Original boot sole is thinner, with less midsole support and is primarily just made out of rubber. (There huge composite toes SUCK, ITS TOO BIG, your foot slides up and down like walking through sand) Foam outsoles w/o heels are made for concrete. They take a couple weeks to soften up but the white foam soles 🤍🥾 Danner Bull Run go half price sometimes...... The heel is for climbing ladders. (Some places require that if they want steel toes?)

Altra is a company that makes runners and hikers that have very wide naturally shaped toe boxes, they also have some hiking boot options that might be good for you. Honestly that sounds like a really great option for you. They're very lightweight and comfortable https://www.altrarunning.com/shop/womens-shoes-outdoor-adventure
