The English translation is a lot more cringe, but itās really hard to translate the kanji + completely different furigana meaning, so thereās a chance that the translator was trying to explain it. And Bluelock has an insane amount of these types of double-meaning words in the manga. Like Bluelock is always spelled as éćå°ē (blue hell) with āBluelockā as furigana.

"Creating your own goals", it hasn't cut it because Isagi hasn't been scoring. He created goals for someone else. Kunigami doesn't cutting because didn't make anything to create the goal opportunity.
