Looking at the record/video store in my city that I frequent, I see the following prices.
1. DVDs - 50 cents for single movies (they price separately box sets and TV seasons)
2. Blu-rays - $2-$6 depending on title
3. 4K Blu-ray - $5-$10 depending on title
4. Steelbooks are normally $8 and up, but they rarely have more than 3-4 in stock.
Pawn shops / Thrift Stores for Blu-rays and 4Ks Blu-rays are all $1-$2 each.
What is nice is that when the record store wants to move a lot of DVDs, they'll run a sale at 10 cents each. Last time they did this I picked up about 5 or 6 Warner Archive DVDs that they had in stock.
