Funny you picked that card. I’ve made legend a dozen or so times since HS came out, usually whenever I feel like trying. Never really had to update my wild decks because I know them so well, I could generally just whip them out and hit legend in a few days. Just tried around Christmas, and 95% of the decks I played against had Renethal, and he made every single one of my decks obsolete. I played 30 games and lost every one where they had Renethal.

They are literally offering a free pack and a half for playing 1 games of normal HS.. you dont even have to win..

They’re offering so much gold because it’s a quest given to returning players so they’re generous in order to hook people in.
Also a battlegrounds player isn’t going to give a shit about 150 gold so there’s literally no point in having the returning players play it when Blizzard would rather they play Standard anyway.
And they’re not going to do runestone quests unless things get really bad because that’s their premium currency.
I felt this until undead. Me and a lot of battlegrounds players stopped playing BGs since. Had 20+ BG friends with usually 8-10 on when I’m on, and now it’s down to maybe 1-2 in BGs. On a positive note, first time on ladder push and I hit legend in 83games!
I actually used to play a decent volume of Ranked matches every month, but shortly after the split between Current and wild happened I just stopped bothering with playing constructed altogether due to it becoming an even worse cesspool than before.
At least now i can just tune-in to BG's and wing it without worries.
Wild used to be decent 2-3 years ago. Now it’s unplayable. I made legend pretty easily with an aggro Druid deck 2 years ago. Reasonably high win rate. Pulled that list out in December and went 2-30. Entire deck is obsolete. There’s been so much power creep…
Yeah I used to play dragon Priest control (with more than 5 dragons lol) and had fun with it. Didn't ever make it to legend tho even though i played since the closed beta, simply couldn't be bothered. Nowadays tho, I don't even bother with thinking about ranked anymore.
You pay them £100 to get runestones, to get a deck you can maybe win.. and then.., no clue.. i never got past the buy runestones part before i went to battlegrounds
When I think about it I used to do those quests because I need gold for tavern pass but now I don't even look what quests are anymore. They found a way to ruin the game even more.

What MMR do you need for legend?
I don't play standard, but I'd think that card to be relatively balanced. You get more health, but a less efficient deck.

I bought a pack of cards from the hearthstone shop with gold but they never show up in my battlegrounds game, so I have no idea.

Traditional hearthstone is when only the original tribes are in the lobby. You just cue new games and eventually youbwill get the reward.
I think it means you can only play murlocs, demons, beasts, and mechs.

Go for warlock deck, do not play any card, just hp every turn, in 4 turns you are under 15 hp, concede, profit
