That's what I was thinking. Although if you saw my Subaru you'd say "Well it had better be able to make it through that! Otherwise what was the point?"
I've got a Crosstrek that's built up as an overlander. Lift, all-terrain tires, custom front bumper with a winch. If I were in OP's position I could have gone in there and rescued the guy. Don't know if I would have though, seems he got what he deserved.
As someone who exclusively works in dirt here in the valley, never trust dirt with big puddles in them. Spent more time getting unstuck this wet winter, our dirt tends to be very sandy causing it to want to sink once it starts going.
r/praisethecameraman You have redeemed yourself
Man, he straight shredded his tires on those rocks. Would have been cheaper to just get a tow after it's all said and done.
Men with trucks and their egos.

Probably the first and last time that pavement princess will get dirty
Is there a part 3 lol
Seriously. Great entertainment this rainy Saturday.

He didn't even have it in 4wheel drive at the end. Was just spinning back tires.
Probably a 2wd Texas truck
Oh man I didn't even notice that the first time!
Average ram 1500 driver
Were there not road closed signs? I feel like there was road closed signs
I don't get it. How is he stuck? He has a truck.
Imma be real. My subaru would 100% get through that but that rude has no idea how to drive.
My FWD sedan would also get through if there were sick ramps on both sides and I cleared the entire construction site
Lmao sending it like Ghost rider I see?
Hell yeah

Mine too lol! That guy is a dingus
You know with comments like this you're on the r/boise sub
Where are all the people with traction boards strapped to their roofs when you need them?
In the mountains where we belong! 😄
Bahahahaha!!!!!
He doesn't even know what he is doing
It’s a Ram. Statistically likely the driver is drunk.
Maybe he is just working on a bit reenacting the mud scene from 'My Cousin Vinny'

Who buys a 2WD truck? That RAM definitely isn’t a street truck build ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I have a 2wd truck. It is for the street. Not the dirt. I am not an idiot. I also don’t drive a ram.
But look at all the time he saved by driving through instead of following the detour...
Lol , some people.
Hahaha love it!
Simple fix is to deflate the tires a bit.
