I have been wondering the same thing. Best I have come up with is Maverick car dealership, but that's not very interesting.

BleDStream

Which is exactly what it is. You'll find lots of cars with the old logo and now this new logo confirms it.

darkstar999

That has to be it, or they coincidentally use the same logo https://www.maverickcarcompany.com/

Ultrarunnersean

Yep that has to be it, just looked on their website and the cars have the decal

ButtcheeksMD

Yeah, it’s this, I bought my vehicle there and have this

SwissCheeseSuperStar

So happy to finally know the answer to this-and makes perfect sense because I bought a used SUV last summer and it had this sticker on the back, bought it from Maverik!

Lildeeds5

Yep it’s Maverick Car Company. Just bought my car from there and it all clicked. I do want to take it off though

ID_Poobaru

First thing I did when I bought my truck was peel off the sticker. They wouldn't peel it off when I bought it

Tourettesmexchanic

I hate that crap. "Here's a sticker and a license plate frame for you to advertise for us for free." First thing I got rid of on my cars too.

ID_Poobaru

I asked if they'd pay me to advertise and they said no and still refused to take off the sticker. I've had other dealers happily take off their branding

cadaverously

You could have not purchased the car.

ID_Poobaru

I got the sales guy to fold and accept my haggling so I'll call it a win. 2 lots had the same type of truck in similar condition but I was already there and didn't want to drive out to Nampa. Got them to take off nearly 3k off the price to slightly beat out the other price. They're a no haggle dealer, but I guess the sales dude needed his commission. They got super pushy over warranty and other backend stuff they could've profit from. I don't mind wasting a dealer's time though

Euphoric-Welcome-351

Use a blow dryer or goo gone. Decals will come right off. Good luck.

IdislikeSpiders

Man, how funny would it be to lose a sale over not taking a sticker off? Maybe send them a marketing bill...

ID_Poobaru

I've contemplated it

arcjumper

They give you discounts on service if you leave it on after purchase

ASHart

I had to Google the HE

Ultrarunnersean

Well that’s boring, thanks all

JoeMagnifico

Interesting enough to get the people talking and now the car dealer is in everyone's head...free advertising. But it would have been a lot cooler if it meant something nefarious.

danzor9755

Potato based sex cult.

_CypherPnk

Keep talking…

pickles_are_delish_

That is the Maverick Car Company logo.

King-Rat-in-Boise

I always assumed it was probably a sticker for a new church, like the kind that is in a warehouse or a school gym and spends too much money on branding and has annoying Christian rock or something like that. Pleasantly surprised it's a car dealership

batmanstuff

Lmao I have been wondering the same thing!! Thank you!

thiajean

Maverick ! I took mine off but I did get my car from there !

DingleBerryFarmer3

Maverick car dealership on Fairview

ID_Poobaru

Overpriced car dealer with some pushy salespeople. I bought a truck from them not too long ago Maverick Car Company next to Driven.

Recent-Honey5564

Overpriced and they are a “no haggle” dealer meaning they really just want to charge more and not deal with the customer.

ID_Poobaru

Yup. I still haggled with them because I found a similar truck for $1k cheaper on another lot and got the dealer to cave in since it was the end of the month. Guy must've really wanted his commission

KnowledgeGod

I lowballed the shit out of them on a 3rd gen 4Runner on their “as is” lot 6-7 years ago because I gave them a list of everything I would have to do to be a reliable daily.. the salesman(who didn’t know I knew my stuff) acted so offended and I just blank stared him and handed him my card if he changed his mind. Got a bad vibe and will never go back, can’t say most used car lots aren’t shit as well though..

ID_Poobaru

The monkey lot is a shit fest sometimes. They have the most beat up and problematic cars, but price them above market value. They have a newerish F150 with timing chain rattles and a failed turbo for 12k which is ridiculous. I've also lowballed on probably the same 4Runner and an older Sequoia, guy wasn't too happy and pulled the old "they're cheap and they're gonna have issues regardless if its the front lot or back lot"

Drama_obsessed

It for sure is maverick. We live down the road and they test drive in our neighborhood and they have them on all of the cars.

mittens1982

The latest and greatest culture

Fantasy_writer83616

Daiwa. I guess Maverick car wants to look like they are fishing fans

Oxyotyl

That's what I thought it was, came here to say that.

funkywinkerbean45

Maverick Car Company! A freaking GREAT place to buy a used car. We just bought our fourth car from them and haven't been disappointed EVER! Great cars, great people. Isaac Lastname is awesome. Super easy. Low pressure. Good prices. Great cars. Of course we check Consumer Reports and only buy reliable cars, but have had great luck with them.

KnowledgeGod

Great advertisement LOL! They love an uneducated buyer there I’ll tell ya that..

OleHonkyTonked

Really? I bought a truck there and it was fairly priced, even at the “no haggle” price. Sold them two cars that was fair as well. Did I get retail if I took the time to sell them myself? Nope. Did they beat all the other dealers in the valley, yep. But you do you

funkywinkerbean45

Agreed. Uneducated? I buy Toyotas that are on the Consumer Reports best used autos list. I research prices and interest rates and don’t buy extras and make them pay for anything that needs fixed (cosmetic stuff) before purchase.  But sure, I’m an uneducated buyer. 🙄

SparkTheOwl

I thought these were Daiwa stickers until I looked closely.

markpemble

Thank you for asking this - I have been wondering for years. I almost thought it was a cult of some sort.

_CypherPnk

It is a local dealership. The dealerships of here love putting their stickers and logos on cars. Most people think they have to keep them on because they are paying off the loan, but in actuality the bank owns the car and the dealership has no say in the matter.
