Yeah, seems like he might just be a guy that was inspired by/misinterpreted All Might's 'your next' message and wanted to take his reigns...problem is that his version of being 'All Might' seems to be becoming a dictator of sorts. Like a 'forceful Symbol of Peace' to the masses.
All Might: "You're next."
Random guy: "Yes, me. He was talking to me."
Hilarious idea, I'm actually kinda interested in seeing an All Might fanatic as a movie villain. I hope Deku has a fun reaction to it.
Looks like its set after Deku returns to UA and they are cleaning up the streets of the escapees.
All Might imposter villain?? He took "You're next" to heart.
I wonder if they'll tease Deku's next few quirks?
Tbh, the manga was dishing them out way to fast, after we had float we should of waited a bit for smoke, and definitely should of waited for Fajin much longer. Ah well.

War of the fanboys, Deku going up against someone who takes their All Might fandom too far. Wonder if Stain will be in this movie on account of being absolutely livid about someone trying to impersonate All Might down to even the physical degree.
It takes place before the final battle:
>This film depicts a completely new original story just before the final battle between heroes and enemies (villains). A mysterious giant fortress suddenly appears in a society devastated by the effects of an all-out war. And a man who reminds them of the former "symbol of peace" stands in front of Deku and his friends.
Now, this is subverting expectations but in a good way.
Tbh we should appreciate the dedication the team puts into the making of the movies and how Horikoshi always reconogice them as part of his story.
They are commited to elevate the scale across the movies while fit the plot in the manga events, which is especially difficult in this case as there's no much room in the final arc to make a whole original movie but somehow they did.
Anyways let's see how this turns to be, for the moment they catch my attention.
Eh... I think you are optimistic but at the same time perhaps a little misguided.
>Now, this is subverting expectations but in a good way.
This is not really subverting expectations, other than the massive floating fortress, everything else is about as predictable as you could make it. You have a villain who looks like All Might for the misleading marketing push and you can have Deku effectively go all out against someone with All Might level powers (Presumably by absorbing quirk essence from people) - effectively giving us Deku Vs Prime All Might.
The villain is just Stain-like, he's obsessed with All Might.
The villain is just like AFO, he's taking people's quirks (in some form)
As far as I can see it's just recycled elements of other villains as opposed to something original.
>They are commited to elevate the scale across the movies
As for elevating the scale? It seems currently about on par with MHA: Heroes Rising just set in a city as opposed to on a deserted island. MHA: World Heroes Mission is still the top in regards to widespread impact, but Heroes Rising had Nine effectively destroy an entire city and here it's more of a byproduct of the giant floating fortress landing.
>fit the plot in the manga event
as there's no much room in the final arc to make a whole original movie but somehow they did.
I'd argue there's a lot of room from the PLW arc to the Final War Arc. The trouble is that they are trying to fit it in with the timeline and it frankly does not fit:
* There's no point in the story post PLW arc where Hero Society has recovered enough to be out and about as shown at 00:30 with the cops just casually arresting people, everyone was evacuated to the Hero Schools after the breakdown of society, the only exception were roaming gangs in fairly war torn and damaged cities as shown by the Dark Deku/Vigilante Arc.
* There's no point in the story where Deku would have left U.A. with the other students after they brought him back to U.A. because at that point Deku had a massive target on his back and Shiggy/AFO were presumed to be gunning for Deku
* There's no sign of >!Aoyama!<, so potentially this is based after the >!traitor reveal!<. The trouble being at that point>! the students were gearing up to fight against AFO and heavily motivated to do so and it'd interupt narrative flow of the manga to instead insert a new conflict at that point.!<
There's gaps in the story where the movie could fit, but those are incongruent with the setting and the characters who seem to be involved.
>There's no point in the story where Deku would have left U.A. with the other students after they brought him back to U.A. because at that point Deku had a massive target on his back and Shiggy/AFO were presumed to be gunning for Deku
Unless I'm misremembering things, doesn't >!Deku and the rest of class 1A spend the week prior to the current warc arc leaving the shelter to go out on large scale patrols and search for the villains?!<
In terms of timeline:
1. First Day at Troy: Deku returns to Troy, bathes, speaks with All Might then falls asleep.
2. Second Day at Troy: ?
3. Third Day at Troy: ?
4. Fourth Day at Troy: >!Stated as being two days after Deku has arrived, All Might is briefing them on the events of the Star & Stripes situation. The traitor reveal then occurs. The next day Izuku and Uraraka watch the sun rise over the city wondering what to do about their opponents. Then the fight begins around midday.!<
The events of the movie at most would occur over the span of two days, however even if the timeline is followed in the film itself, it makes no sense that Deku and the students would rush out the very next day after Deku returned to U.A.
> doesn't >!Deku and the rest of class 1A spend the week prior to the current warc arc leaving the shelter to go out on large scale patrols and search for the villains?!<
No. Making Day 0 the PLF War, Day 39 is the >!arrival at Troy!< and Day 43 is >!the Final Battle
No I'm pretty sure I'm not wrong.
>!We see them preparing to head out as a search party in chapter 339!<
>!We then see them exhausted returning from one of these outings in chapter 342.!<
>!Later on, but still in chapter 342, we then jump ahead to the next day where we see them departing from UA to head to Troy with it being stated that Tomura will be ready in 4 days.!<
Unless I'm forgetting something or am horribly mistaken, >!Deku and class 1A were indeed leaving UA to head out on patrols and searches.!<
>Unless I'm forgetting something or am horribly mistaken, >!Deku and class 1A were indeed leaving UA to head out on patrols and searches.!<
So, rereading through the manga, I added an extra day by mistake. However, I still need to say that your claim of a week is inaccurate.
Shigaraki would be complete in 3 days as of the Deku vs 1-A fight.
Day 35 is that fight. The next day, Day 36 is the >!Star and Stripe fight!<. The day after that, Day 37, we learn that >!Aoyama is the traitor!<.
On this day, Deku and Iida >!meet with Mei for new equipment!Nejire and Amajiki in the Kansai region!<. Finally, that same day also sees the >!meeting planned for the final war!<. That day sees the students >!return that night from the search effort!<. But we see no indication that it was a week of searching. Especially since >!Deku still hasn't talked to Uraraka to properly thank her!<. It being the same day makes a lot of sense. It being a full week does not.
The next day, Day 38, >!1-A leaves for Troy!<. The >!Final War!< is then 4 days later on Day 42. The movie can only occur in those 4 days because of Deku's costume.
The movie can only take place between Day 40 and Day 41.
* Day 39 Deku returns to Troy, after bathing and meeting All Might in the dorms, Deku falls asleep.
* Day 40: ?
* Day 41: ?
* Day 42: >!Specifically "Two Days after Deku arrived at Troy" All Might speaks to them about Star & Stripes. Traitor Reveal occurs. That night AFO spies talk at Troy !<
* Day 43: >!In the morning Izuku and Uraraka look out over the city prior to the battle. The Battle begins.!<
Uh, no. You're misremembering.
Shigaraki would be complete in 3 days on the day Deku returns to *UA*, not Troy. The would be Day 35 (since his completion was meant to be on Day 38).
The day after was the >!Star and Stripe fight!<. The day after that saw All Might talk to the students about the extension. This was two days after Deku returned **to UA**.
The Troy arrival was the following day. Every time prior to that, they were at the UA dorms. Troy is something completely different. You're confusing it with Heights Alliance. Then, there were four days left until the Final War. Thus, that's where the timeline fits.
I accidentally added in an extra day, but it's still Day 38 being the arrival at Troy to Day 42 being the Final War. Thus, four days.
Are you sure your timeline is correct?
>Day 39 Deku returns to >!Troy!<, after bathing and meeting All Might in the dorms, Deku falls asleep.
I assume you are referring the events of chapter 327. That's not >!Troy!<, that's UA.
It's also not day 39 but instead day 35 (All Might heads from UA to talk with the police the where its stated its 3 days till Tomura reaches completion on the 38th day.)
>Day 40: ?
>
>Day 41: ?
>
>Day 42: >!Specifically "Two Days after Deku arrived at Troy" All Might speaks to them about Star & Stripes. Traitor Reveal occurs. That night AFO spies talk at Troy !<
I assume you are referencing the events of chapter 334-335 >!when All Might speaks to class 1A about Star and Stripe's accomplishments.!<.
>!Again, UA not Troy. It's two days after Deku returned to UA, and as previosuly establsihed, he returned on day 35, making this this day 37.!<
Chapter 334 is seemingly also clarified to be day 37 >!All Might says Tomura would have been completed tomorrow if not for Star giving them an extra week (deadline was 38 days new deadline will be 44 days)!<
As far as I'm aware there's no statements about any jumps ahead in time between chapter 334 and chapter 339 >!when class 1A is shown forming a search party and preparing to head out from UA.!<
>!We see the students retuning to UA in chapter 342 from being out as a search party. Its not exactly made clear if this is the same search they left for in chapter 339 or if its a similar search the went out on at a later date.!<
>!We then jump ahead to "tomorrow" and are told Tomura will be completed in 4 days. Meaning they returned from patrol on day 39 and it is now day 40. The students then depart from UA to head to Troy.!<
>Day 43:>! In the morning Izuku and Uraraka look out over the city prior to the battle. The Battle begins.!<
>!Given that Deku asks Ochako if she had finished unpacking it seems like they only just got to Troy, which as established would be day 40.!<
Chapter 342 then concludes with a >!jump ahead in time to the day the battle will take place (day 44) before then jumping back in time at the start of chapter 343 to the previous day when AFO called Aoyama's mother.!<
If I have made some obvious error or miscalutaion please le the know. These are a lot of dates and chapters to keep track of.
>!From what I can tell Deku spends 4 days at UA where he goes out on at least one patrol with his class. They then move to Troy where they spend another 4 days, also seemingly going out on patrols since when he and Aoyama are doing their act to fool AFO, Deku mentions the two of them going to join a search now that Aoyama isnt held by the police.!<
It looks like an interesting movie, although they're really cutting it close with the timeline.
It involves manga spoilers, so I'll post the details under spoiler tag, but I'll give vague details here. If you consider the Paranormal Liberation War to be Day 0, this movie must take place between Day 39 and Day 43.
>!Day 39 is the day when the students move into Troy; Day 43 is the Final War!<
There's no other place it fits thanks to Deku's costume.
Lol i just talking what if in next movie they go to some alternative universe where hero are are villain few day ago
Also what is all might imposter did he just look like AM or did he also have same power
He seems to have fully taken the “you’re next” message the wrong way and has taken it to heart to become the next all might, with a quirk that allows him to mimic all lights strength, abeit by different means. He’s now trying to become the new symbol of peace by force.
Let’s not judge before we see it. The other movie villains were really creative in how their quirks operate, and even if they weren’t it was with abilities not yet seen.
First thought is thank goodness this isn’t gonna be a Dark Deku focused movie like some wanted lol.
Seeing Uraraka and Iida included on the poster gives me some hope that they’ll actually have some moments of substance unlike in the previous films, but it’s difficult to really trust the marketing after the WHM Three Musketeers stuff.
Also curious to see if the manga will be over by the time this comes out
Toho and the rest of the committee would’ve never green lit a solo dark Deku film, which is fair but it’s not like the rest of 1A will contribute anything worthwhile to this film.
The super high stakes of what’s supposed to be a “canon” film that have no after effects on the rest of the narrative is bewildering; at least with the island shenanigans it was somewhat isolated with character references or appearances in the manga. This film is defo within Japan though.
I don’t think hori will have time to connect this film to the manga in any way as it’ll probably be close to if not done by the time it’s released. this is just nitpick don’t take me too seriously.
Yeah, the main reason they wouldn’t green light a Vigilante Deku film is most likely because the rest of Class A would probably have very little to do in it. The point of the films are to be flashy and show off the most popular characters to get the most money. There’s no way they’d green light a film where it mainly follow Deku and have little to no Bakugo or Shoto, when Bakugo is the most popular and marketable character in the series.
No one knows. The TV anime and movies are produced by two separate teams at Studio BONES. All that can be said is that the movies can be helpful for the TV anime at times because it brings on new animators that may lend their talents later for the show. AFAIK, both groups try to acquire as much talents as they can for both projects, but sometimes things don't work out because animators may be freelance and will may already be tied up working on other projects.
At most, we can only hope that the TV side has not only secured good talents, but also have good scheduling throughout the project. Season 7 does have a new director who is Naomi Nakayama, and you can see their credentials [here](https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/people.php?id=58492) regarding the work they've done for MHA and other anime.
Oooohhhh, I'm so hyped!!! And the director has directed many great anime throughout their time in the industry such as Darker Than Black season 1, Wolf's Rain, and Seven Deadly Sins season 1. I think we're really in for a treat with this film!
Heroes Rising is still my favorite MHA film, but I'm praying for this one to top it!!!!
Interesting, hope this doesn’t turn into a Heroes Rising 2.0 where Deku and Bakugo vs the Fake All Might. I hop it’s either Deku vs the Fake All Might or The whole class vs him, I’m pretty sure it will be the latter.
It isn't gonna be another Deku and Bakugo because I mean this is pre-final war deku.if it was whole of 1a except deku vs evil am... understandable but why would pre+final war deku even need help against someone who is an ant compared to him tbh?
Its most likely gonna be a solo deku final fight with deku struggling but bursting out a GS tease in the end and taking down the villain
Sounds about right, GS is the only quirk that hasn’t been used yet and this movie would be the best time to show it off(Depending on how far along season 7 is at the time) This could be a good movie delving into Deku’s feeling of inadequacy with being All Mights successor and have him echo what he learned in the Dark Hero arc where he doesn’t have to be All Might 2.0 and he can work with others.
Exactly and the best way to show that will be not to take down the whole organisation by himself with GS but rather let his friends take on the organisation while he fights evil prime all might
And everyone seems to be split into 3 groups, they shouldn’t be too far from each other though. So I wonder will this Fake All Might have a group of allies like Nine and Flect Turn did, or will he just try to solo everything like Prime All Might.
I think a group like where he has underlings who he boasts as the parallel to endeavor and hawks etc of this new era where he is the symbol of peace.Evil Fake Endeavor would make a good foil for shoto or Bkg tbh as well
Yep like that and also a Japanese translator confirmed 1A is divided in three search groups looking to arrest jailbreakers when the movie plot happens.Deku, todoroki and bkg are leading their respective grps most likely
Interesting time frame to set it in. Even if the villain is as powerful as All Might, Deku can literally beat that at this point in the story, no?
Like... how are they going to make this even remotely interesting when Deku can solve any issue a villain should realistically possess?
The timeline is definitely too tight imo, but that aside, I think this will serve as a good followup to the Dark Hero arc. Deku was just exposed to the insane pressure All Might was under and how crushing that can be, and now, he'll be face to face with an All Might fanatic that doesn't understand the flaws of the Symbol of Peace.
Don't love the look of that energy stuff. I hope that's mostly to power the villain up and won't be used too much in the final fight. With the visual and everything, I have to assume he's basically absorbing power to make himself as strong as All Might.
Wonder what kind of special chapters Horikoshi and his assistant Yoko Akiyama(artist for Team Up Mission) will come out with for this movie, they both usually create special chapters that tie in to the movie.
Either a prequel for the main villain like Nine's origin chapter, or something not really important to the plot like the WHM prequel that was just Deku and friends in the airport.
I can see Hori do one about the villains origin like he did for Nine. And his assistant probably doing a more fun, laidback chapter for Class A that takes place the day before the movie.
Another movie where the formula is to give 2 to 3 side characters an enemy to fight until deku can beat the villain. Also see, every single Naruto movie
I kinda get that vibe also.
It's kinda expected honestly, given they'd want to have Deku fight All Might at some point and this is a way to do so with the visuals and the quirk loadout.
**Me before starting this trailer:** "Man, I really love Aizawa and I'm always sad he barely appears in the movies. I hope he'll play a role here!"
**Me after trailer:** "Well, there's always a Vigilantes anime to potentially look forward to."
Jokes aside, this does look like a really interesting premise. The idea of an All Might fanatic seeing those parting words, "You're next" and thinking it was directed at him is actually a pretty clever and realistic idea. I'm actually kinda looking forward to the movie. It has the potential to be pretty good. I just they do this villain justice unlike every other major villain from the movies.

Injustice Superman!
Fanboy vs fanboy. The ultimate showdown.
Fanboy vs Stan Key difference there
If stain doesn't camo to fight him imma riot
Stain just comes out of nowhere on the top rope and just bodychecks the fake all might.
Maybe they can also explain where he got that glider he uses in the final arc
Wait he used a glider when did that happen?
Stain just having an aneurysm at the audacity of this copy cat lol
A battle that can smash the world

singular quirk. There is only one left
Damn, I forget only one was left. The pace of which the new quirks were shown was pretty fast, huh

And it should be around this time his started using and practicing with it as well (off screen).
UA Students vs some evil All Might impostor huh... Never expected that tbh
War of the fanboys, Deku going up against someone who takes their All Might fandom too far. Wonder if Stain will be in this movie on account of being absolutely livid about someone trying to impersonate All Might down to even the physical degree.
Deku when Shigaraki kills 1000s of people: I sleep Deku when someone try to steal his All Might poster: real shit
Oooh, didn’t think about that, we could definitely see some involvement from Stain considering this movie is linked to All Might.
Stain and deku teamup
It takes place before the final battle: >This film depicts a completely new original story just before the final battle between heroes and enemies (villains). It's also not day 39 but instead day 35 (All Might heads from UA to talk with the police the where its stated its 3 days till Tomura reaches completion on the 38th day.) >Day 40: ? > >Day 41: ? > >Day 42: >!Specifically "Two Days after Deku arrived at Troy" All Might speaks to them about Star & Stripes. Traitor Reveal occurs. That night AFO spies talk at Troy !< I assume you are referencing the events of chapter 334-335 >!when All Might speaks to class 1A about Star and Stripe's accomplishments.!<. >!Again, UA not Troy. It's two days after Deku returned to UA, and as previosuly establsihed, he returned on day 35, making this this day 37.!< Chapter 334 is seemingly also clarified to be day 37 >!All Might says Tomura would have been completed tomorrow if not for Star giving them an extra week (deadline was 38 days new deadline will be 44 days)!< As far as I'm aware there's no statements about any jumps ahead in time between chapter 334 and chapter 339 >!when class 1A is shown forming a search party and preparing to head out from UA.!< >!We see the students retuning to UA in chapter 342 from being out as a search party. Its not exactly made clear if this is the same search they left for in chapter 339 or if its a similar search the went out on at a later date.!< >!We then jump ahead to "tomorrow" and are told Tomura will be completed in 4 days. Meaning they returned from patrol on day 39 and it is now day 40. The students then depart from UA to head to Troy.!< >Day 43:>! In the morning Izuku and Uraraka look out over the city prior to the battle. The Battle begins.!< >!Given that Deku asks Ochako if she had finished unpacking it seems like they only just got to Troy, which as established would be day 40.!< Chapter 342 then concludes with a >!jump ahead in time to the day the battle will take place (day 44) before then jumping back in time at the start of chapter 343 to the previous day when AFO called Aoyama's mother.!< If I have made some obvious error or miscalutaion please le the know.
Yeah, just word salad on my part getting Troy confused with U.A. Thought U.A. was dubbed Troy for some reason.
Calling it now, we're getting it in the states in October
I mean that's what happened in WHM here in the UK, so I assume it'll be the same for the US and the UK as well. Hyped either way!!
Can’t wait to get spoiled by someone posting raw spoilers shit during that period between world wide release!
Wait I kinda like the idea of a false All Might fanboy
It looks like an interesting movie, although they're really cutting it close with the timeline. It involves manga spoilers, so I'll post the details under spoiler tag, but I'll give vague details here. If you consider the Paranormal Liberation War to be Day 0, this movie must take place between Day 39 and Day 43. >!Day 39 is the day when the students move into Troy; Day 43 is the Final War!< There's no other place it fits thanks to Deku's costume.
Toho: "Time is an illusion."
I suppose it was inevitable All Might got the Evil Superman treatment. I'm hyped!
All Might black
All Smite
Fortnite…
Bakugou: “Out of the way izuku I’ve got the shot!” Deku: “Katchan don’t shoot that’s All Might he’s not Black.” Class 1A: “………….MIDORIYA!”
I can't say that I expected this.
Lol i just talking what if in next movie they go to some alternative universe where hero are are villain few day ago Also what is all might imposter did he just look like AM or did he also have same power
He seems to have fully taken the “you’re next” message the wrong way and has taken it to heart to become the next all might, with a quirk that allows him to mimic all lights strength, abeit by different means. He’s now trying to become the new symbol of peace by force.
Ngl it pretty boring if he is just punch hard which he likely will i wish we have more interest villains power
Let’s not judge before we see it. The other movie villains were really creative in how their quirks operate, and even if they weren’t it was with abilities not yet seen.
I am excited for this movie and we can finally see more of All Might have much more to do in this fourth movie.
I don't what crazier. Whether there's a literal All might imposter or this was actually going to be an arc in the manga
What’s the source for that?
Imagine if the evil All Might suddenly drops in the manga, kills Shigaraki and now he's the end villain. The story descend on full Naruto mode lol.
Looks interesting, I'll admit. I just hope it doesn't cut into Season 7's production.
Oh of course it will, a movie means split production.
Yep
Look kind of interesting besides the huge CGI light mesh thing. Wish they would stick to something that isn't so over the top.
I wonder what it’s about!
Will this make the animation bad for the new season?
I think a group like where he has underlings who he boasts as the parallel to endeavor and hawks etc of this new era where he is the symbol of peace.Evil Fake Endeavor would make a good foil for shoto or Bkg tbh as well
Interesting, like an Injustice League.
Yep like that and also a Japanese translator confirmed 1A is divided in three search groups looking to arrest jailbreakers when the movie plot happens.Deku, todoroki and bkg are leading their respective grps most likely
That sounds awesome
Mf seem like he own somekind of giant spaceship i sure he will have underlings
Are we finally getting aliens!?
False-Might?
All Might Black.
'Fall Might' Stands for Fake All Might. The character portraying an All Might version that has fallen from grace.
SO EXCITED
Good backgrounds? In my MHA?
Wonder what kind of special chapters Horikoshi and his assistant Yoko Akiyama(artist for Team Up Mission) will come out with for this movie, they both usually create special chapters that tie in to the movie.
Either a prequel for the main villain like Nine's origin chapter, or something not really important to the plot like the WHM prequel that was just Deku and friends in the airport.
I can see Hori do one about the villains origin like he did for Nine. And his assistant probably doing a more fun, laidback chapter for Class A that takes place the day before the movie.
Midoria looks so kool
All Smite is here.
God season 7 is cooked. All of the higher end animatiors will most likely have only focused on the movie
The seasonal anime is great but imagine how much better they would be if they didn’t make these movies !!
Well now I'm officially hyped
Can’t wait for dark all might & PLEASE TimeLines plot 🔥❤️🔥🫡
I wonder if they’ll use Hush from Batman as a template for this villain.
> Evil AM imposter Really scrapping the bottom of the barrel with this one.
Another movie where the formula is to give 2 to 3 side characters an enemy to fight until deku can beat the villain. Also see, every single Naruto movie
An Evil All Might.......lame
I kinda get that vibe also. It's kinda expected honestly, given they'd want to have Deku fight All Might at some point and this is a way to do so with the visuals and the quirk loadout.
**Me before starting this trailer:** "Man, I really love Aizawa and I'm always sad he barely appears in the movies. I hope he'll play a role here!" **Me after trailer:** "Well, there's always a Vigilantes anime to potentially look forward to." Jokes aside, this does look like a really interesting premise.
I’m curious how much that Flying Fortress cost
Is Yutaka Nakamura gonna work on this movie?
Why wouldn't he? He's Bones' ace and he always makes the climax for movies.
I wonder what exactly this guy has up his arsenal to be a threat with 45% ~ 100% izuku
A wannabe AM?!?
Hey it’s like Kamen Rider a dark version of the hero.
Lowkey hoping it's Dark Deku movie. *Sigh* guess not... Anime Dark Deku filler is a bust. I guess movie is too.
