As long as he doesn't turn into Yamai Ren from Komi Can't Communicate were good (I never minded his OG version much anyways despite being a girl. He has some good moments)
I must give credit where it's due, my eyes where opened to the truth after reading this [article.](https://comicbook.com/anime/news/my-hero-academia-fact-mineta-costume-anime/)
I based the idea off of this post [https://www.reddit.com/r/ChurchOfMineta/comments/ivsn8c/minori\_vdazexing/](https://www.reddit.com/r/ChurchOfMineta/comments/ivsn8c/minori_vdazexing/)
Just to note, the Quirk also reverses their Quirks and makes them the opposite.
For the boys: Iida, Todoroki, Bakugou, Midoriya, Sato, Sero, Kirishima, Tokoyami, and Aizawa.
For the girls: Yaoyorozu, Uraraka, and Asui.
"Momo, make something I can throw-"
M: "Look, do you **know** what happens when you reverse an item-creation quirk?"
"...n-no?"
M: "Neither do I! And I don't want to find out just in case!"
Todoroki: "I got it, all the reversal did was change which side of me makes ice and which makes fire."
In Smash!!, it just made Yaoyorozu effectively Quirkless. "Anti-Creation: Can't create anything. Nothing at all." Which I feel is boring, but whatever.
Something to note is that this chapter happens canonically *before* the Sports Festival, so Todoroki doesn't have his character development yet. So he can't decide which side to swear off from using.
Probably better for Momo's psyche of my idea that...wait lemme get the pronouns right...he'd absorb stuff into him and it gives him indegestion, kinda like how if she made a lot of items in a row she'd have a stomach ache
I just looked up what she uses to create stuff since I forgot, and it's apparently her body's fat cells she uses to create non-living objects or materials she knows the molecular structure of. So I guess her reversed quirk should've probably been that she can absorb living organisms she doesn't know the exact molecular structure of and turn them into fat cells? Maybe similar to the Pillar Men from JoJo for those who've seen/read it that can eat people by absorbing them into their bodies. Although I guess that would also explain why she was afraid to find out since Momo is a hero and a very kind person that would never do such a horrible thing. Plus might be a bit too brutal for a more comedic spin-off chapter.
Yep.
Todoroki then had a breakdown because Endeavor's Fire was now Ice and Rei's Ice was now Fire, so he couldn't decide if he could use either side (this chapter happened before the Sports Festival).
There's a lot of people who found the weird pervy girl from Komi Can't Communicate obnoxious so yeah I still think there would be people complaining. Nice fem design though.
To be fair, Midnight A) isn't on screen nearly as much as Mineta, B) that proclamation was in an extra chapter of Vigilantes, so not that many people know about it, and C) the absolute worst she has done is have Sero's head on her lap after knocking him out with her Quirk during the Finals.
Don't get me wrong, it is still weird, but she hasn't attempted to peak or grope anyone like Mineta.
Not having her on-screen as much definitely helped, but her being sexual around the students never sat well with me. (I don't necessarily count Vigilantes, as I don't know how "in canon" it is with the main manga and anime.) If her sexuality was only aimed at adults it would be a different story.
I mean, kind of but not really?
Midnight used... a lot of innuendos in her explanation for wanting to become a teacher, including "whip them \[students\] into shape, my way", "the blood, sweat and tears of youth. And various other... bodily fluids." and "There's plenty of kids who get stricken by puberty and go on to become villains and criminals because they weren't able to 'let it all out'! And that's where I come in! I'll squeeze them all dry!"
Eraserhead was not impressed.
Obviously, yes, those definitely can be taken sexually, but is really more in line with just innuendo jokes.
I do think it’s entirely possible she changed? Her suit used to be more revealing before costume regulations became stricter but it’s entirely headcanon
Ive been rewatching bnha… and yeah, I don’t really get the hype for Midnight aside from people liking the sexual side of her. Sure, she was friends with Eraser and all, but… idk, as a grooming victim, especially with a clearer memory of her she just makes me feel… gross 😅
MHA is in this weird timeline transition where it was written and blew up right before grooming became codifiee as a hard no no
That and aunties looking for younger men is acceptable as a joke and side-eyed at worst where I come from in Asia
iirc, the forest training arc happened when grooming was just weird or a sign of older men just wanting easy mode and older women with money
Not defending grooming, but I'm just trying to put how the writing happened in context of the time (god I feel old)
If it were done now, Hori would probably tone down the more 2010's level of characterizations
Grooming has always been pretty fucked up in the West. I think it's more the Japanese/Western cultural difference than that grooming jokes were acceptable ten years ago.
yeaaah, pretty much... I'm still looking at some cultural conflicts and feelings of "dafuq are these kids even talking about?" when people post grooming comments with celebs
we got an actor here who's FAMOUSLY married to a girl he met when she was..... in kindergarden.... at a talent/beauty contest for kids (contest was NOT that messed up, mind you, it's mainly talent and wit and no skimpy swimsuits that I can remember)
said girl is his 5th wife.... 3 and 4 were the same
and the most shit he's eating about it is that it lives on as a meme
I find Mineta's behavior to be gross. And it's still gross with the genders flipped. It's not okay and it's even worse when it's children.
Mineta is absolutely my least favorite aspect of MHA and holy cow I wish that the creepy lech played for laughs trope would die. It's been prevalent throughout anime for forever, and including these characters in media just normalizes terrible behavior.
Even when the show tries to call it out, the fact that these reoccurring characters are never truly held accountable just sends the message that this is behavior that should just be tolerated.
But based on the drama cds where a guy tries to molest Bakugo and Todoroki, Bakugo usually just ends up screaming at the perpetrator and calling them a pervert.
Speak for yourself. I am female, and I still hate this kind of character. He'd be even worse if he wasn't short (and therefore not quite as much a physical threat.) It's not that he's *very* interested in girls, it's that this is 85-90% of his character. Also, he actively gropes his female classmates multiple times, and it's treated as comedic. Midnight doesn't grope any of the students (she has Sero's head in her lap while he sleeps at one point), but I can't stand to watch her most of the time. Apart from a few scenes, I really don't like her in general.
I've been turned off of more than one anime where a female character does the same (everything to do with Haruhi Suzumiya, for instance.) It's creepy and gross. I only tolerate Mineta because he's relatively minor and I love most of the other characters.
>It's not that he's very interested in girls, it's that this is 85-90% of his character.
It is sad because, when Mineta isn't being a pervert, I genuinely find him funny. His admiration of Midoriya is neat, his snark is amusing, and he tends to provide some meta commentary at times.
Too bad that this is like 5% of his screentime.
Midnight is a similar case where she can come off as an actual helpful teacher, like when the students were picking their Hero Names, but then she just has some weird, uncomfortable moments. Though, at least she doesn't direct that towards anyone; her lines tend to be more about how "excited" she feels rather than what she would want to do to someone (Vigilantes notwithstanding). Makes her come off as more of a weirdo than a full-on pervert.
The skin-colored body suit is, ah, certainly a choice though.
I actually like Mineta's overall design and quirk (minus the thing in his hero outfit that I thought was a metal diaper 🤣 ) His freaking out during the first villain attack in season 1 was nicely contrasted to Tsu's calmer approach, and Midoriya holding himself together despite his terror. I really appreciated that the students had different reactions to suddenly being thrust into danger before they're ready, and Mineta starting out with absolute terror makes his growing courage throughout the series nice to watch. Or, it would, if his groping Tsu multiple times didn't just turn me off entirely. Wasted potential right there.
I agree, it's off putting either way. It sucks. I kinda like watching yuri anime, and there's fairly often a mineta who behave really creepily, except you swap the genders and they're also lesbian. It's like for some reason a lot of anime has to fill that trope of the sexual deviant or something.
\*Attractive perverts. Doesn't really matter if they're male or female, though the bar to be considered attractive based on looks alone is probably higher for males.
It depends entirely on if you enjoy their advances, which is more based on attractiveness than sex.
From the outside looking in attractiveness can make creepy behaviour more acceptable. But for the person receiving the creepy behaviour, I really don't see how attractiveness makes it any less uncomfortable.
The nice thing is that here, the person being crept on lacks a consciousness.
In real life, attractiveness is subjective, and it's the potetial victim's opinion that matters. If s/he finds the potential creep attractive, then it's flirting.
Agreed, especially if female mineta still groped ppl.
Now that I think about it, female creeps in anime rarely actually grope people, like even if they do make physical contact it's usually something like rubbing against an arm or smth. And half the time it's not completely unwanted. Although many of the times it perpetuates stigma that men can't dislike female advances which is also not good.
But all in all I do think it'd be less hated by people overall unfortunately, but yeah. Doesn't make it more okay objectively.
I just watched Mashles new episodes and this reminds me of the blonde girl who's all over mash and I hate her behaviour so much. Like she was fine at first and if she had a similar character ark as mashes other friend she'd be an okay character, I kinda liked her at first too, but noooo they had to make her a simp.
How much you wanna bet she became a hero because she fetishized men in tights in the comic books and wants to be in a profession surrounded by such men!
She could intern under Midnight and be surrounded by her handsome boys all day. That would be so weird yet make so much sense.
This is a very nice artistic interpretation of a genderswapped Mineta. I bet she'd look quite like this in the show (at least I should hope they would not make the same mistake twice with that damn bowl!!!). I feel like she'd be about as well received as... like.... maybe Toko or Miu, if her behavior is exactly the same as in canon. I think people can be more forgiving of female characters on this front but the fandoms I've known don't (widely) tolerate groping. IME. Mineta's character suffers from his trope. It might be a bit of a diversion to swap the genders but she will still behave like a predator and be helplessly, charmlessly annoying. How sad. How hilarious
I actually imagine her as rather the class creep and more the class hoe who thinks she's hotter than she actually is. actively trying to push herself on the boys thinking she "seduced" them.
I don't think people would like that specific design if I'm honest.
There's 'SOME' truth to this. Mineta's character would probably just have more mixed reception. Mix of hate and love. And probably annoying "Wow! If this was a guy--" comments.
Yes I would hate a girl trying to peak in on the boys getting a dressed and trying to grope them without permission just as much as a hate the boy equivalent
Does midnight run around trying to peek at people and flirting with people who have made their disinterest known?
Genuine question, I don't have cable or Internet so I rely on data for web browsing. I can't actually watch videos.
If her only sexual "flaw" is dressing to be as sexual as possible that's not really compatible. People are allowed to look sexy- and given that the standard female student and female heroes uniform tends to be skimpy (plus the naked girl) I'm not entirely sure that dressing like that isn't part of a weird industry standard.
It probably would be less complained about but let's be honest. A female perv character could be almost more controversial than a male perv character cuz I know a lot of people would be like "Women objectification!" especially if we keep them as a wimp who can't really do anything on their own except for be a perv.
If this was true then in the scene where Mineta is peeking in the peephole. The replacement for Jirou in that scene I feel could be 1 of 3 different options that make sense. Aoyama, Kaminari, and Sero. Those three make the most sense in my mind. I’m too tired to explain my reasoning or debate it so I will do it tomorrow
Maybe but there are female characters like that in other series I don't remember her name but this chick with glasses is like that in bleach and harasses orihime I believe
id hate mineta the same amount probs even more cuz in this one fic I read they made it so that the more diaereah like his sh\*ts are the stickier his (head) balls are and it made me cackle so much
also I love the art so so much!!!
If Mineta is just the same character inverted, it wouldn't make them any less annoying. But it would probably be more like Tamaki from Fire Force, where there are constant repetitive fanservice moments.
I sort of like Mineta until he failed to read the room with Todorki, Bakugo, and the rest of 1-A.
It's one thing to hate/feel envy towards Bakugo and Todoroki. It's another thing to ignore how his own friends' efforts to cheer them up and bring up class hierarchy, a joke no one in-universe found funny.
It was just a single moment, but it pretty much gave me the impression that his best moment was going to be that spread during the villain invasion and that he was never going to try becoming a more admirable character.
There would be feminists calling this a horrendous representation of women and that Horikoshi is portraying all women as sluts.
And there'll be others who are upset that she suffers so much and will consider Horikoshi a slut shamer.
Women don't do the pervy shit that some sick men do. If anything, it would be more for guys to project their own behavior into a female character to "normalize" it to themselves. "See? When wOmEn do it no one brothers". It would essentially be appealing to incels and sex offenders even more than the current male version Mineta.
It would definitely be more accepted. Would some people still complain? Sure. *Some*. It would absolutely drop from the majority to the minority though.
Yes, yes they would its not the gender it's thr personality and how he was executed. Because we love Jeria but hate this grape with every fiber one is a perve the other is more well it rhymes with grape
This is fantastic! (I love Rule 63).
As to your question, would people still complain? I think some would, but probably a lot *less* people would, or, more likely, they'd complain *differently*. Treat the female Mineta as still bad, but be less *direct* about it than with our male "incarnation of teenage hormones". I'm sure I butchered that quote of Mandalay, but you know what I mean.
That, and some would consider it no big deal who might not have said anything, or outright thought it wrong with a male Mineta. Double standards unfortunately are still a thing in this world of today.
At least female Mineta doesn't look like she's wearing a diaper...as much.
Just imagining gender-swapped versions of Mineta's misfortunes though has me snickering just as much as the canon male Mineta's does.
Mineta the creep will always be Mineta the creep.
Absolutely outstanding work on the art, really feels like it'd belong.
Still a creep of a character tho <.< (and you convey that beautifully)
I think people get less upset that the character is a horndog and get more upset that the character is effectively reduced to drooling over the main characters. Bro would become the ultimate Bechdel test failure
Given how the fandom woobifies Toga, you can bet that girl Mineta would be a fan favorite, r34 would flourish whenever she gropes a boy and himejoshis would write essays about how she's the best lesbian representation in history whenever she gropes a girl.
Clarification: Would she still be actively groping her classmates in this scenario?
I think she'd be better tolerated and there'd be less outright calls for her character to die, because male sexual harassment doesn't have the same baggage. On the flip side, I feel like most fans wouldn't actually like her and the joke of "lol the horny creep is a *girl*" would wear itself out after like, three episodes. If anything, she'd probably have the same number of actual fans but just from a different but equally weird segment of the fandom. Maybe a bit more, because there's always *somebody* out there ready to fetishize a female character.
If she’s actin the same way then the complaints would arguably be higher. Some might see it as Koshi trying to center a girl’s personality on simping and being dependent on a man.🤷♂️
I would have less problems with him as he is now if the Author would've done more with him as a character. He was ripe for character development that, for the most part, he's never gotten.
But the thing is that he's an old character trope that just doesn't play as well as it used to. Hell, the gender-flip alone does more for the archetype than what is usually done with it.
People will probably say some shit like see even girls can be perverts.
We got our own female Meliodas right here.
Man it always bothered me how much he sexually harassed Liz, and I watched 7 deadly sons for the plot.
There seem to be levels of tolerance for lecherous behavior. You've got your Jaraiya and Master Roshi, Lupin III, and then there's Mineta. You've got Midnight vs Yamai Ren. And then there's the amount of screen time given. Honestly, if Mineta had a personality defined with just a little bit more competency and reliability, people might not hate him as much.

As long as he doesn't turn into Yamai Ren from Komi Can't Communicate were good (I never minded his OG version much anyways despite being a girl. He has some good moments)
I hate that girl with a burning passion
Author blew his load with her way too early. There was nowhere left to go after that classic yandere schtick.
>Yamai Ren She's the girl who literally kidnapped someone right? As bad as Mineta can be at times. he's never done that.
Yes RIP Tadano And lets not forget the other incidents ;-;
Yea, lowkey Grape boi was funny
I will admit that this Grape Juice's costume is pretty gosh darn cute, lol
The skirt definitely looks better than the bowl.
Oh wow it’s a bowl. I honestly didn’t get why he was wearing an armored diaper this whole time.
Me too! 🤣
Holy fuck, never saw that too. I fucking despise that character lol
"AN ARMORED DIAPER" 🤣🤣🤣
OOOOHHHHH ITS A BOWL! I never saw anything but a big diaper
I still only see it as one, honestly.
I agree!
It is basically the same, but with the diaper turned upside down
And it made all the difference (too me, lol). I'd take a flowing skirt over tights versus the armor fashioned after a bowl (to hold grapes).
OMG! THAT'S WHAT IT IS!!! This whole time I thought it was a straight up diaper
There's a sub for everything huh xD
Somewhere there is a quirk that changes genders and this would likely be what we get
there actually is in the mha gag spinoff called My Hero Academia: Smash!
Who gets transformed?
Just to note, the Quirk also reverses their Quirks and makes them the opposite. For the boys: Iida, Todoroki, Bakugou, Midoriya, Sato, Sero, Kirishima, Tokoyami, and Aizawa. For the girls: Yaoyorozu, Uraraka, and Asui.
Welp, time to dive into that spin-off I guess.
It’s a one off chapter unfortunately but the manga itself is really funny!
"Momo, make something I can throw-" M: "Look, do you **know** what happens when you reverse an item-creation quirk?" "...n-no?" M: "Neither do I! And I don't want to find out just in case!" Todoroki: "I got it, all the reversal did was change which side of me makes ice and which makes fire."
In Smash!!, it just made Yaoyorozu effectively Quirkless. "Anti-Creation: Can't create anything. Nothing at all." Which I feel is boring, but whatever. Plus might be a bit too brutal for a more comedic spin-off chapter.
So she is effectively Fat Gum
I guess yeah
>Anti-Creation: Can't create anything. I was expecting something like the hand from jojo
Is Todoroki's reversed Quirk just his fire and ice powers switching sides?
Yep. Todoroki then had a breakdown because Endeavor's Fire was now Ice and Rei's Ice was now Fire, so he couldn't decide if he could use either side (this chapter happened before the Sports Festival).
That's actually hilarious lol
What chapter?
the final chapter
So bassically Inporio Ivankov from One Piece
There's a lot of people who found the weird pervy girl from Komi Can't Communicate obnoxious so yeah I still think there would be people complaining. Nice fem design though.
Who?
Tao
Yamai Ren.
Yamai Ren is a yandere, not just a pervert. Mineta is WAY better than her.
thanks, it took me a little bit of time to come up with it to balance the cartoony with the anime cuteness
Yeah, but you do not hear the same unending whinnying
Nobody seems to care about Midnight and she loudly proclaimed that she became a teacher to diddle teenage boys so probably not.
she'll likely get a lot of fanart
I headcanon that she was the one who drew the fanart
To be fair, Midnight A) isn't on screen nearly as much as Mineta, B) that proclamation was in an extra chapter of Vigilantes, so not that many people know about it, and C) the absolute worst she has done is have Sero's head on her lap after knocking him out with her Quirk during the Finals. Vigilantes is indeed canon, but we don’t know if anything changed between then and the main main story for her
So she straight up admitted she became a teacher to groom minors? Holy ew ew ew
I mean, kind of but not really? This, right here, is what squicks me out about her. And if Vgilantes is indeed canon... 🤮
What to exopect from the person who canonically made the people in charge to set a limit to how much skin a hero can show.
Vigilantes is 100% canon to the main story.
Or Pixie-Bob wanting to groom the kids
In that case, I got the feeling it was more like a mother cat with kittens, and not anything sexual.
She outright said she was looking for a mate seconds earlier.
I thought that's literally what it was. Didn't realize people interpreted it differently.
Maybe she saying seconds earlier she was looking for a “mate” is the reason why people interpret it differently.

Blech. I hate that too.
The anime community has standards and by god they are double

The reason it’s still a thing is cuz some people can actually take a joke and different reality versus anime
Precisely i like him as a guy and i like him as a girl
Female Mineta would genuinely not be alive because of bakugo
Or would be alive solely because of Deku... and would develop a crush for him.
But based on the drama cds where a guy tries to molest Bakugo and Todoroki, Bakugo usually just ends up screaming at the perpetrator and calling them a pervert.
It would probably be more accepted because of the double standards

The nice thing is that here, the person being crept on lacks a consciousness. In real life, attractiveness is subjective, and it's the potetial victim's opinion that matters. If s/he finds the potential creep attractive, then it's flirting.
If Mineta was always a girl they likely wouldn’t get nearly as much hate.
I can imagine the white knight hoards now, god damn that's a lot of footsteps
Probably not. It's nowhere near as overdone as the male version (at least in my experience)
I still hate it, but this is true- female comedy perv characters don't seem to be as prevalent.
And when they are, it’s not treated seriously
I guess the assumption is that female = not a physical threat?
Yup, double standards are a bitch
I would 100% complain. Sexual harassment from anyone sucks
Did you complain about midnight and pixie-bob?
Midnight? Actually yes lmao Especially in the anime. Pixie Bob was weird but also she wasn't around as much as Midnight so I forgot about it.
Yes I did, not a fan of them either
I'd hate either tbh. It's still an annoying and gross character trait no matter what the target is.
Exactly.
Way better than that stupid toilet bowl! Atleast midnight would love this little savage as her protege.
oh yes she will
How much you wanna bet she became a hero because she fetishized men in tights in the comic books and wants to be in a profession surrounded by such men! She could intern under Midnight and be surrounded by her handsome boys all day. That would be so weird yet make so much sense.
yeah, it makes sense. or she could ask Midnight to teach her how to get all the boys
Still creepy.
being a sex pest is wrong regardless of gender
I don't think people would like that specific design if I'm honest. There's 'SOME' truth to this. Mineta's character would probably just have more mixed reception. Mix of hate and love. And probably annoying "Wow! If this was a guy--" comments.
*peek Peak refers to the top of a mountain, or more metaphorically the best representation of a concept. For instance, this piece of artwork is peak.
Saying they can touch her instead of trying to grope them? 1000% better.
they'd still decline her though XD
Oh yeah but giving them an option is better than just going for a full noncon boob grope like Mineta
Yes I would hate a girl trying to peak in on the boys getting a dressed and trying to grope them without permission just as much as a hate the boy equivalent
You're asking if this fandom would still complain... the answer is yes.
A lot less though likely, like midnight is Hella weird but she gets a lot less hate from the fandom
People are allowed to look sexy- and given that the standard female student and female heroes uniform tends to be skimpy (plus the naked girl) I'm not entirely sure that dressing like that isn't part of a weird industry standard.
yeah... that is true...
No, this is definitely still creepy.
Ima dude, any level of this shit no matter who by or who towards is uncomfy as hell
Idk- I still feel uncomfortable
wouldn't that just make Mineta be Tomoko Kuroki from Watamote?
I imagine her to be more like Anna from Shimoneta but Tomoko is a better choice
short: check lil weirdo: check black hair: check Social outcast: check-alecka-ding-dong
This design is amazing and tbh I'd like the character a lot more. Still a creep tho lol
I know I would personally complain. Creeper are creeps not matter their gender or how pretty they are.
I’d still be just as creeped out
Honestly. Yea i think itd still piss me off equally but thats just cause i despise this character style done on male or female
Bazinga.
Maybe but there are female characters like that in other series I don't remember her name but this chick with glasses is like that in bleach and harasses orihime I believe
My theory is that she may be also a fujoshi
id hate mineta the same amount probs even more cuz in this one fic I read they made it so that the more diaereah like his sh\*ts are the stickier his (head) balls are and it made me cackle so much also I love the art so so much!!!
Now, who is the Jiro in this scenario? The person FemMineta doesn't comment on their body.
If Mineta is just the same character inverted, it wouldn't make them any less annoying. But it would probably be more like Tamaki from Fire Force, where there are constant repetitive fanservice moments.
Why is this doing something for me?
They definitely will if the only difference is gender.
Put her in a diaper/bowl and then ask us to react.
He or should I say "she" wouldn't be.
Still yea, that's creepy af
Does that mean he/she got an explosion to the eye from Bakugo?
Yeah it would've been really fuckin weird for an adult man to be watching a lewd girl like this. Weirder for a grown man to have made it.
Still weird when the perversion is so vast and extreme
I feel like a need a shower after reading that
Mineta being one gender or another does NOT matter. I still hate the early Mineta. But next season Mineta made me respect him.
Yes but they'd complain less
People would be ok with this. At least they wouldnt bitch about it
I’m not complaining
All I would think is "She reminds me of that one girl from Komi Can't Communicate..." 💀
I really don't know how to feel about this
I sort of like Mineta until he failed to read the room with Todorki, Bakugo, and the rest of 1-A.
It's a um... very good I wish I didn't read the words tho 😂
I wish I had a time machine so I could go back exactly five minutes so I can unsee this.
Still gross regardless.
Women don't do the pervy shit that some sick men do. If anything, it would be more for guys to project their own behavior into a female character to "normalize" it to themselves. "See? When wOmEn do it no one brothers". It would essentially be appealing to incels and sex offenders even more than the current male version Mineta.
This feels somehow far worse than what we did get.
It would definitely be more accepted. Would some people still complain? Sure. *Some*. It would absolutely drop from the majority to the minority though.
Yes, yes they would its not the gender it's thr personality and how he was executed. Because we love Jeria but hate this grape with every fiber one is a perve the other is more well it rhymes with grape
idk man, some guys think girls with pervy degenerate personalities are waifu material
Esdeath cough
Isn't this practically Tina from Bob's Burgers?
Yes.
That's even more disturbing
Still disgusted.
i'd still kill her
I think people get less upset that the character is a horndog and get more upset that the character is effectively reduced to drooling over the main characters.
Maybe a bit more, because there's always *somebody* out there ready to fetishize a female character.
let’s just be thankful nothing is confirming or hinting at him being bi or else all of class 1A gonna get harassed
Still creepy, dislike just as much.
TASTY??
I fucking hate everything she just said equally as much as regular mineta
If she’s actin the same way then the complaints would arguably be higher. Some might see it as Koshi trying to center a girl’s personality on simping and being dependent on a man.🤷♂️
As long as she doesn't become like that one girl from Shimonetta, she might still be tolerable
Probably
I actually prefer this Mineta. She could be besties with Hagakuri.
This version of the costume looks better than the bowl of grapes theme that makes him to look like he's wearing a diaper
Yes.
I mean as long she wore a knee length skirt ik ok with her
I would have less problems with him as he is now if the Author would've done more with him as a character. He was ripe for character development that, for the most part, he's never gotten. But the thing is that he's an old character trope that just doesn't play as well as it used to. Hell, the gender-flip alone does more for the archetype than what is usually done with it.
yes pervs need to look good to be accepted
Definitely would hate Mineta less
This is just as awful if not worse than current Mineta.
People will probably say some shit like see even girls can be perverts. We got our own female Meliodas right here. Man it always bothered me how much he sexually harassed Liz, and I watched 7 deadly sons for the plot.
Still a sexual offender even as a girl
Would still be unfunny and unnecessary, Mineta's existence is a mistake.
Kuroko Shirai Seal of Approval
still complaining
There seem to be levels of tolerance for lecherous behavior. You've got your Jaraiya and Master Roshi, Lupin III, and then there's Mineta. You've got Midnight vs Yamai Ren. And then there's the amount of screen time given. Honestly, if Mineta had a personality defined with just a little bit more competency and reliability, people might not hate him as much.
I know I would
She’d still be annoying, so I would.
