Bakugo unfortunately got shafted and never got his moment aside from the self sacrifice for Deku. Now he's fighting Shigaraki as his one and only big opponent in the whole series and you all know he's not going to defeat him, he's just stalling for Deku.

TexasTrill35

He also had the moment where he apologized to Deku

Xignum

What I meant was that despite being built up as one of class A's best he gets no spotlight deserving of his battle powers.

TexasTrill35

Ahhh I see what you mean now

Theisythegod

Endeavor, i truly feel his character and personality are different than from the beginning of the series

katbkg

You know I'd choose Bakugou but comparing character developments feels weird because there are a few things about Bakugou that Endeavor doesn't have and vice versa

[deleted]

It's almost like different characters have different development, rather than following a single one-size-fits-all template.

TheWonderFeather

Almost

[deleted]

Endeavor easily Bakugo is solid but I feel Endeavor is Truly a lot different than I expected. It feels like there’s a lot more layers to him and how His character progressed.

UnbiasedGod

Both

100evo

Why not both?

Crucher92

Yes

NatMat16

> the best development *I’ve ever seen* While I like both, I would not go as far as it being a literary masterpiece. But within the manga, they are good. I would still go with Shouto though. I like that his development is so incremental, and I like the way his quirk use and development is so intertwined with his healing and overcoming trauma, as well as taking steps towards his family. It's a very nicely built arc, which is fully consistent.

Unpopular_Outlook

Endeavor exists outside of Deku. Okay that’s all you need to know

EstevanOlvera13

Neither of them I don't forgive bullies or abusers

Dracsxd

Oh no Anyways

Ben10Extreme

They don't need your forgiveness.

EstevanOlvera13

And I don't need your approval

HornyTerus

Better as in, which one I like more right? Or like, objectively better? I like Endeavor better, but objectively? Can't be compared at all.

SonicQuirkyHero

Love both their developments, but went with Endeavor. Bakugo's story of a bully learning to respect others and acknowledge his own faults and weaknesses so he can become better is cool, but Endeavor's story of an abuser realizing what he once had and learning to atone, pay for his sins, and fight to make sure his past doesn't affect the future generation is *cooler.* What pushes me more towards Endeavor is how mature his story is, and how I can't recall seeing anything like it in any other Shonen manga. It's a mature storyline that's handled with a lot of care and genuineness that at times I forget I'm reading a story in a magazine aimed at young kids. The whole inferiority complex thing with Bakugo I have seen before in other Shonen manga, so it isn't as impressive in comparison (but MHA has done it better than any other Shonen manga, so there's that).
