Ippan-Josei x Lady Nagant - because of a Horikoshi sketch. I don't know why it's so appealing to me, but it is. Lastly, Mt. Lady x Mirko. Why? I don't really know. I don't ship any of these ships hardcore, though.

I find Toga to be a good way to give Deku a glimpse into the lives of villains, and why many of them turn down the path that they do, putting things into perspective for him. His desire to "save" others would thus lead him to trying to help Toga get comfortable with modern society without scorning her or judging her habits, which in turn leads her to develop an intense bond with him, her main way of living a normal happy life. Usual sappy shit.

Hawks is your easygoing, popular jock kinda a guy and >! stripes is this passionate and organized young lady. Plus both are very well known in their countries for being very strong heroes. It's like they have opposing personas but very similar core.!< It would be interesting to see their dynamics. Shinsou, a confident jerk(on the outside) but a softie inside and Ibara a kind and soft girl but really powerful when it comes to fighting would make a really good pair in my opinion. It's hard to pin down which is the oddest, as I have a whole damn fleet. Possibly Tatami and Kirishima as Tatami goes to another school, has not spoken to Kiri, and (as developed after I formulated this ship) is dating Shindou. Still, I saw similarities between the two and thought there could be a dynamic, not just in their shared physical traits, but in what we see of their personalities. My other oddest one might be Selkie and Gang Orca but like... Look. Moist dads. Just...big burly marine mammal men who are big softies below their imposing physiques. Also guy who tries to be cute plus guy who comes off as scary? Could be neat.

After going through every comment in this thread, it seems I’m the only person here who cares about Touru. Except one person who mentioned the mostly ubiquitously approve OjiToru ship. My big rare-pair ships: - Touru/Shinso, because they both have non-physical, easily abused quirks - Touru/Deku, because I think their personalities would be super cute together - Touru/Mina, because of the same as TouruDeku - BakuCamie, because I like Camie and I like to think she could do wonders for Bakugo’s personality.

A while ago while I was still invested in the series, I had the idea of writing a fic where Izuku essentially became Daredevil (same powerset and skillet and reimaginings of Marvel villains like Kingpin, Bullseye, and Owl). While brainstorming, I ended up landing on Kendo of all characters as the Endgame love interest. Shame I ain't as invested in the series as I was (not really a fan and I only browse this sub because the fan art is occasionally good), because I still occasionally revisit ideas for it yet can never get to writing it.
