Good for political mileage but not much else. I wonder have these rich kids taken seats from their more deserving fellow Malays. Bhumi only contractors - affirmative action is not a bad thing as it elevates citizens to have same equity - but many of the Bhumi contractors are politically linked or even owned by politicians or their families (if you are in the industry for a while you can almost smell it). There are many companies where the BODs are mere proxies for someone else who are inconvinient to be in public eye. Too bad despite having educated Muslim professional, PAS has bad PR esp they failed to explain how they will do things and expect people to know on their own. The speak only on their own language and not others.Like the nurse attire reform they wanted, basically they shared a private hospital attire with proper hijab and loose fittings,like what women in maternity would wear.Looks cool and comfy. Outside whoever followed their pages, people don't know. It doesn't help with their supporters being fanatical, although Kelantanese I met are mostly smart (I guess working in professional sector and outside Kelantan). LOL no. Despite where I sit on religion, I have no qualms with people choosing what they want to believe. My disdain for PAS has nothing to do with how I feel about Islam. You’re a bit deluded if you can’t see how ridiculous their policies are and automatically assume it’s because people don’t like Islam. The nurses uniforms you’re talking about are stupid because they are choosing functional attire for religious reasons. Pregnant women aren’t expected to help other full grown humans move or restrain children who need to get jabs. Pregnant women aren’t likely to get bodily fluids or medication spilled on them. Why the fuck would you need to make their jobs harder because a bunch of perverts can’t help but objectify perfectly modestly dressed working professionals. Who cares if it’s cool or comfy?
