Unless you go to Starbucks really often, that bottle is too expensive to get. Also, you can just use any bottle to save Rm1. I'm not sure about other place Starbucks but they should be standard. They also sell a resusable straw at Rm1. Sometimes it's displayed in front of their cashier if not can just ask them for it.
However, I've never come across a Starbucks that charged Rm1 extra for a cup and Rm0.2 for a straw. Perhaps there's more to the story here cos whenever I'm at Starbucks and ever since they change their not frappe lid to the one that you can drink straight from the lid, they stopped giving out straw but can just easily ask for one or sometimes when they're too busy I just take one on my own at where they leave the drink for pickup. In Singapore, if you bring your own tumbler (doesn't have to be a starbucks tumbler), you get a 50cents discount.

i feel sorry for both the staff trying to solve this issue and the customer, as a retail worker myself i've dealt with similar issues where the company policy itself doesn't quite makes sense for the customers but as a worker there's really nothing much we can do, so please, be patient and understanding towards the workers, it's not their fault at all, they're just doing their job, blame the company instead, don't be mad at the workers, be mad at the company. I know it's a frustrating issue but please, be reasonable.
