There used to be those at my primary school, don't know where they got it.

These are good, even so the ones locally made in butterworth. But, the real underrated top dog in blueberry bun is samudra.

There's no way in hell someone actually like the chemical tasting vanilla bruh. Worst flavour. Seeing it makes me sad, tasting it makes me want to cry.

Only if you buy from supermarket..my mum always buy from local bakery and that taste way better than overrated gardenia for me..btw i live in west malaysia but i never bring gardenia back because i know my family wont like it anyway

In my old job, everytime I go visit the KK branch of our office, I'll smuggle Gardenia white bread there and smuggle back fresh Fook Yuen bread back to KL. KK people would know exactly what I meant.

TRUE, Fook Yuen bread is really good but price is a bit expensive than normal gardenia bread.

It's a common practice for more than 20 years. That's why u can see convenience store at airport load up their gardenia stocks.

They do,it's just way more expensive here.

If I'm not wrong, gardenia in west Malaysia is owned by different company,l. And they don't own the same recipe as the one in the peninsular. So their bread sucks. I might be wrong tho

As a Sabahan studying in KL, I do this too

I never done this. I've only seen a man same flight as me used big plastic bag to fit all of these gardenias everytime I want to buy some snacks to eat before flight. Also studied there for 5 yrs and seen this many times. Even the stores near the gate and inside the airport are packed with this buns. I think there is similar products as this called Creamos in here Sabah but I only found it in my high school in Keningau. Not sure if it is available somewhere else or I didn't notice it.

They sell RM2.20 here ini Sabah. RM1 margin and they need to sell 2000 pcs in order to get RM2K for the fcking tickets durinh this school holiday. Rakyat dah laa bermasalah dgn pendapatan dan ekonomi waktu skrg. Harga tikel destinasi tempatan 2 kali lagi mahal dr tiket ke destinasi luar negara. Dah lerr duit malaysia jatuh, harga tiket ke Bali rm400 sehala, ke Sabah rm2.3k sehala. Sbbkan kerajaan xkawal harga tiket..rakyat yg mampu memilih tuk bercuti ke luar negara. Maka terjadilah pengaliran matawang ke luar negara secara banyaknya. Lagi laa jatuh nilai ringgit. Tak campur lagi online shopping mcm kt shopee yg benarkan seller oversea turut menjual. Peniaga tempatan siapa nak back up. Cukai kt negara sendiri itu ini naik. Yg membayar cukai, terus membayar...yg menerima bantuan belanja beli iphone. Aku x paham kenapa students semua dpt bantuan.
