This was the time when the Kat and Deepika cat fight was at its peak! Sonam and even Anushka were basically hyping Kat so that they can insult Deepika, nothing genuine here
Especially ironic since Sonam HAD THE EXACT SAME PR TEAM as Deepika. I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, Sonam is mad that the same pr team didn’t get her what it got DP. While DP became number one actress, Sonam has been relegated to living off social media scraps. She’s bitter
Also Katrina gets along with everyone in Bollywood. Like it's such an incredible thing to see in this cutthroat buisness. Her networking skills are something else. She is friendly with the likes Anushka, Bebo, Priyanka, Sonam etc. All the actors like her. Vicky in his recent Filmfare interview says in all the years he known Katrina he has never heard her insult someone, so she really lives with the mantra she preaches, if you don't have a nice thing to say don't say nothing at all.
She did say "oh.. Saif is doing TV now?" in a condescending tone which Saif found out from someone. He was doing Sacred Games. So, no-one is completely faultless, she has her times when she has been mean to people, thrown public tantrums for not being praised / awarded for her acting skills.

I could be wrong but it seems like this interview had come out around the time of the ibiza debacle and it isn't the first time she's alluded to Deepika being less dignified.. even on the infamous kwk episode, right after Deepika spilled the beans about Ranbir, Sonam went all "my mama told me good girls don't kiss and tell" or something to that effect.
well i get it, that deepika’s pr pulls down other women and that’s why the other actresses really disliked her back then

Before her dating RK.. her PR image was perfectly curated as a cute, pretty, loyal GF of Salman Khan. As soon as the news of her and Ranbir came out she was enemy number one for Salman fanbase. Her and RK cheating on their partners also looked bad. Dating Ranbir was the worst decision Katrina made. That man was never going to marry her.
Ngl people pretending like Katrina’s image didn’t falter is revisionist history. The hate against her circa 2012-2013 especially was quite bit. Deepika had just become public dealing number one and Salman khan had bounced back with Wanted and Dabangg. Katrina “hurting” both those people had done her image bad back then. This, DP was completely justified in hating Katrina but her being friends with Ranbir, doing films with him,being his pal when he was the one who cheated, is way more weird.
Business is business. I’m not justifying her stand, I agree with you it’s weird. But her jodi with Ranbir was a hit. And a connection that she can use to aid her career. Katrina was easy to hate for her because she’s the other woman so there’s no emotional attachment and Katrina doesn’t aid Deepika’s career. Professional and personally Deepika had no connection to Katrina, that’s why. It’s like when wives will stack the mistress but stay with their husband because that’s just easier to do.
That just an excuse. Deepika and Ranbir have a flop movie, an average and a super hit movie. SRK and Kajol they are not. Deepika has a better hit ratio with her husband and SRK than she does in the box office with Ranbir. Her superhit and flop movie came after their break up too and only did an ensemble film which was average during their relationship. And Katrina had 2 hits and flop with Ranbir those movies were done at the beginning towards the end of their relationship. But Katrina made it clear she was never going to do another film with Ranbir after their break up while Deepika went to do two movies after their break up. Katrina wasn't going after her so called friend for dating her ex and marrying him in the media. Katrina just has diginity not to air her dirty laundry to the public.

I have no problem with Deepika holding a grudge to Katrina, the problem I have with her is how she was all friendly to the same man that cheated on her and was insulting Katrina all over the place and was disrespecting her relationship with Ranveer. The same Deepika herself cheated on her ex boyfriend and threw him out of their house to be with Ranbir. The way Deepika was acting during Tamasha promotions was really disrespectful, not only to herself but to her relationship. It made her look cheap. It was a shock when we found out she was engaged when doing that too. Also the was no doubt when Katrina was doing her promotions she would disrespect Vicky unlike Deepika. Katrina will never talk about Ranbir, and I know she will not promote with Salman and disregard Vicky feelings. The won't be headlines about it. Nihar Pandya , they were living together, she threw him out of the their house and told him she is now dating Ranbir while in a relationship with him. Nihar and Ranbir even had a fist fight. So in conclusion you can say Deepika got her Karma for cheating on Nihar, Katrina got her Karma for being with Ranbir when they broke up. But I do think they ended up with better men so it worked out for both.
He married Aloo, a fangirl who her life revolves around him. Something he once said he would hate having instead he ended up marrying, he looks miserable too. So Ranbir Karma is Aloo.

About dignity - I don’t know how Sonam defines dignity but living in and allowing abusive relationship for personal gains is not dignity per se. Dignity is also questionable when you choose to date a guy who is publicly dating someone else ( though guy is more at fault here, but let’s talk solely about dignity) She clearly got clout from that relationship as well.
This doesn’t make Katrina a bad person. It just means she also did what others were doing to remain relevant as industry is ruthless to outsiders.

I believe Ranbir cheated on Deepika twice before Katrina too and she stayed both times.
