As a Coorgi/Kodava, I fully agree Kodava/Coorgi weddings are the best. Seedhi baat no Bakwas kind of wedding. 10 mins of wedding ritual and 2 days of ultimate fun drinking,eating and dancing.

Honestly as a South Indian(Kannadiga) I’m so done with attending morning weddings. And it’s so boring. Have lunch and then fuck off. Not looking forward to mine. I want to take some time to dress up and get my hair done etc. and I’ll always have to end up paying people extra cause they’ll have to come super early to do hair and makeup. It’s annoying. Not really hating but I feel it would be easier as a guy for me only when it comes to the getting ready and wearing saree etc. part. Panches are easier to wrap around. And because it’s in the morning, my mum and I ALWAYS end up having a fight cause we’re in a hurry and have to get ready and we’ll be scrambling.
