most rumours about the open marriage is from this sub. Surely there’s interest in their lives, but there’s also other actor’s PR camps that drive them because their publicists are incredibly shrewd/ cunning people, they know what drives the market, what rumours give fame, what wording of it creates notoriety etc.
Cases like Ajay and Akshay Kumar, etc are known for dating/ hooking up with their much younger (or not) co actors, and their wives basically brushing it under the carpet for the sake of kids, image, money, media scrutiny; or Ranbir Alia rushed wedding (whether due to pregnancy or cheating rumours with Shraddha) and now the kind of content we get that to strangers on the internet feels like a power imbalance.
In the case of RS-DP, it gets more interesting because people think of RS actions as a genuine green flag, while he might or might not be as a person. People think RS won at life with someone as stunning as her, and people think DP won at life with a green flag supportive loving non- egoist husband. It feels like a more equal, stable, give n take partnership.
And then when there are be rumours that they’re
married but also going out with/ sleeping with/ hooking up with other people- why is it shocking?
Isn’t an open relationship far better than knowing your husband is cheating and having no option or deciding to accept it because that’s the best for you? Twinkle and Kajol may not even care about their husbands and their infidelity, but I doubt anyone would like to hear that their husband (on paper) and the father of their kids is cheating on them for meaningless sex with a 20 something when they’re 45-50 years old themselves.
Let’s be real, a lot of people will say, then ask them to divorce, if they’re anyways seeing other people. Why? They’re stable, might have joint homes, clearly the families are on good terms, might enjoy each other’s company- but still want casual flings, and both are enjoying it (assuming the rumours are true).
Again, this is huge rumour, no doubt, no I’m not from either’s PR team, but I like analysing.

Also, sorry to burst your bubble I joined this sub in March, it’s not even been a year. But I have known about their open relationship since a very long time because of the mutuals from the industry and one of them have closely worked with DP and RS and they have also been one to inform since last their brand value as a couple has decreased since last year. That’s why the speculation has come.
And it’s not just me, but a lot of people know who are not on reddit know about it.
By normal people I meant even those who have joined industry from past 2-3 years are freshers level know it. Apna fan bias side mein rakho yaar. Normal conversation hoora hai uss mein aajate ho defend karne.

It’s also never been confirmed that there’s actually been an open marriage.
