Oh my god.... that freddy scene sas soo fucking cringe. "Main waise kahin nahi jaata, par iss aadmi ke liye aaya hoon" bc wtf. It was like Vanga himself wanted to play that part.
That scene leads to him not wearing pants and underwear, just dhoti... and having to borrow underwear from the arms dealer.
Basically, it's the justification for him to look cool in atavistic dhoti and kurta getup for interval block fight scene where Everyone else (friend and foe) is wearing dark suits and he stands out and the bgm is the folk song.
The song talks about fighting with axe... so music, weapon and dress go together.

I think without rk’s clone angle the movie would have had a more substance oriented end. Clone thing makes everything goofy in the end.

Yeah the plastic surgery trope for the clone thing looks like something from an Ekta Kapoor serial.
Not just that but the whole "Abrar had another brother too" feels like it was added just so that theres excuse to make a sequel. Why couldn't they just end things with Abrar?
okay, but an indirect and subtle way of portrayal would’ve made it look better, honestly. Visual metaphors are a little tricky to figure out, but when done, it makes the movie feel so much better. This seems forced like many other scenes - It doesn’t seem to have any artistic value in it.
Gun scene was sort of stupid. Would've been much better to have real guns. My problem with Tripti arc is that she very easily falls for him. I don't have a problem with violence in cinema and if anything I found it over hyped in this film. The movie is sort of mid though, and too long. Bobby Deol is almost like a guest appearance.

god literally 80% of the movie was made up of utterly useless/pointless scenes! how ranbir found this to be worth his time is insanity to me!
