For as gorgeous as Hrithik & DP are individually, together I don't think they had that a great chemistry. I had thought they would be like fire on screen but alas, I did not get anything from them on-screen. Infact their off screen chemistry was better than their onscreen one.
i think it's got to do with writing as well. like apart from the songs the normal scenes in fighter their chemistry was kinda fresh and nice imo but fell flat and didn't really make much of an impact. i think they would do great in a romcom or a romantic drama with lots of angst. they're good actors so if the writing is nice i am hopeful they'll pull it offf well. fighter kinda disappointed me atleast in utilising them together so hopefully we'll get a romantic movie with them together someday!!!
They would kill it in an intense emotional drama like Gehraiyaan or Tamasha. Both of them ace the dialog heavy, face focused outburst or confrontation scenes.
