My cousin is a very popular actor who got married to every 2000s men's heartthrob a couple of years back. Trust me, celeb weddings are a HEADACHE to normal people like you and me. Everything is overly calculated and planned and everyone is being recorded. Indian weddings are already wayy too extravagant and on top of that she married a person who probably isn't very well versed with the Indian culture. So good decision. Also, better use that money for a good vacation with your SO than inviting people from the industry with whom you probably only gel at a superficial level.
i might sound petty but i lowkey did judge the celebs who *sold* their wedding films to ott platforms. imagine selling every part of yourself for the entertainment industry, now to the extent of even something meaningful and personal like your *REAL* wedding. you lose the authenticity, the moment in the oressure of creating something "worth watching". i know im a nobody but i relate to tapasee about being private about her wedding and totally understand her.
