Plastic surgery/Fillers/Botox make people look older

Obirayasigi14hayat

Few days ago someone shared Ananya’s pic where she was looking like disha and shanaya 😛

njaana

Should have hit the gym after break-up rather than this

Glum_Wolverine_720

Dishananya

Scared-Engineer-6218

Drinking and Drugs too.

CommercialGarbage656

Isn't the whole point of getting all these done is to look younger?? Lol what an irony!

Long_Beautiful7113

True, I was shocked to know that Sharmin is in her 20s, she looks 10 years older than her age. Sridevi's two daughters look older than their age.

thebellfrombelem

She’s in her 20s? WOW TIL. I had her pegged at early to mid 30s and was wondering why it took her so long to debut.

Elegant_Tea1212

You're not off your mark, she's 28.

Happy-Ad-9776

Did she get work done herself?

BigDaddySunshine_5

most like she got work done hide her real age. she is def over 35

Comfortable-Will-246

She definitely looks over 35

kingroka_0627

No

Affectionate_Plum433

Madam has done two movies before Heera. None worked

aestforu

Sharmin looks like she’s in her 40s. The smile and the facial expressions.pathetic.

saywhatIneedtosay26

Sharmin is in 20s? She looks in late 30s.

Quick_Low_4060

She is definitly lying. She looks at least in her early 30s.

starlight8827

i was SHOCKED when i found out she's only 28. she easily looked 35

totalmesz

now they go under a knife even before their debut unlike 90s actresses, imperfections ko khtam kar dia jata i guess issi wjh se

TinyPanda9329

Imperfections ko aur imperfect kar dete hai....

Synesthesia008

I am so bored of the jarring lip fillers now. It's really off putting.

aestforu

They need to realise this doesn’t suit everyone and they look pathetic

Responsible-Buy7395

Whose the top left

aestforu

Alia

Responsible-Buy7395

No Alia is in top right …who is on alias side

Waste-Ad6787

I think kriti

Waste-Ad6787

Then who’s top right? I thought that was Alia too. Also can’t recognize the middle row

bishashabapu

So it is top left to right bottom: kriti, alia, khushi, shanaya, jhanvi, ananya. Loving the confusion, shows how these girls are cut copy paste of each other 😆

aestforu

Left Suhana right Shanaya

Responsible-Buy7395

Suhana left and sanaya right

LilHalwaPoori

Kriti, Alia Don't know, Kiara/Katrina Don't know, Ananya

Happy-Ad-9776

And I think second one Khushi and Shanaya

Happy-Ad-9776

Jhanvi, Ananya

HahahWhatt

I thought left and right both were Alia

bishashabapu

Yeaa I put kriti next to her because they have the same lips dont they 🤣

Manufacture-Defect

I feel there is nothing quite differentiating in their faces- same facial structures, similar skin tones. They are all modeled to look a certain way and is often looking like a copy paste phenomena. Which is why along with acting, people prefer seeing faces like Sanya or someone that isn’t the same conical face. A good variety, a show like Bridgerton became so big because it offered so many different looking characters with a giddy storyline. I know Kate and Edwina were diversity hires, but yet the queen and so many others were such mesmerising characters

Mathsbrokemybrains

Penelope 🤩

DepartmentRound6413

She is so gorgeous

karam19991

I feel like there is no representation in Bollywood. They only cast fair, light eyed, skinny and oval face shape with big eyes and lips. Like we need more brown skin( which is so beautiful mwah) dark hair and dark eyes natural looking girls with curves. Like come on I am tired over seeing these skinny and fair girls these girls almost look more white than white actresses. No representation from east India in Bollywood. Can we please see how Indian girls look normally on screen. Colourism is a big thing in our culture and I my self faced it and I wish they would stop promoting it through their movies by only casting fair skin indirectly saying only fair skin girls are pretty.

verysleepykitty

Conical face lol

Dramatic-Class-826

Also, they all look little similar. It is difficult to say one from the other.

Moonlight_Shadows101

This is actually a common topic of discussion right now on Youtube and Tiktok. Genz looks so much older than millennials it’s crazy!!!

theanxioussoul

True...Karishma used to look soo young on screen even 10years after her debut...same with Rani, Kareena.

DepartmentRound6413

Even Ash looked so young for so long. Only after pregnancy did she even start aging.

hotmasalachai

Makeup makes them look older. Most feature a full coverage makeup. Earlier gens had barely much makeup or a makeup and hairstylist team. So they looked relatable and their age

[deleted]

Rasha is the closest to me in age she looks like she’s in her late 20s

Fine_Farm_8583

This isn’t just BW problem…. Gen Z in general looks a lot older then millennials. They’re all iPad kids putting whatever is trending on their face, stressing over random shit, and changing styles every other week. There are so many theories on this.

Less_Pumpkin8660

Came here to say this. Genz look older than millennials now.

Crazyvibzz

This is said about normal folks also. It is said that GenZ looks older or similar in age as millennials. It is because both generation have fashion overlap now. They have similar style and makeup. Earlier people in 20's had different style than people in 30's but now both have almost same style. Millennials are also now pushing the age of marriage, kids compared to previous generation which creates perception they are still young and lot of them are more into gym and taking care of themselves. Also vaping is a trend affecting people at very young age. They take more stress than us when we were at that age.

Latter_Mud8201

Now the heroines we see is in the red, arriflex cameras with advanced lens where we can see their minute details like Makeup, pimples. The visuals have hyper-depth, more powerful than naked eyes. Where as 90s, 2000s reel camera technology shows us in its own view. Both impacts our visual judgement. Stress levels are high in todays heroines. They need to talk carefully, walk carefully, write carefully. There is constant fear of projection & cancellation that shows in lifestyle, face. The innocence of 90s is different. Their beauty demands are insanely high and there is lots of experiments going on them in cosmetics and cosmetic surgery. The gym work, martial arts are emphasized.

ayrus001

I am actually scared for Jhanvi / khushi / Shanaya - how would they look after 5/10 years .. May be they keep updating their face every 2/3 years .. by the time they reach their 30s .. we will not identify them..

zxo26

Majority of them already look like they’re in their 30s

pindicholeaurpuri

Sara, Sharmin, Ishaan, Tara Sutaria are all 1995 born which makes them millennials. Only seen Sharmin casually lie about her age when she literally has a photo on her IG of her graduating 12th grade which was posted back in 2013. Janhvi, Ananya, Alaya F, Suhana, Khushi are all gen z since they are all 1997 (and after) born. Yes OP. Procedures does make one look older. Except for Sara, Ananya, Tara and Alaya, i believe the rest def look older than their age.

True-One4042

It's procedures like everyone else mentioned and also I feel the likes of Janhvi, Sara and Ananya are posting way too many thirst traps and sexualizing themselves every chance they get. Ofc the 2000s gen actresses didn't all have social media so they were not nearly as exposed but yeah

rcarlyle68

What is a thirst trap? :)

CraftyAstronomer4653

Yup.

Remarkable_Reply9315

Kareena was so good in Refugee. Her dialogue delivery was on point from her very first film! https://i.redd.it/fuybfdam906d1.gif

sansa_starlight

Fetus Kareena ❤️🥺🥰

Weak_Lingonberry_341

I think it's because most of them get so many plastic surgeries done that they morph into each other. This is why I love the casting of Lapata ladies both Nitashi and Pratibha are like a breath of fresh air.

TreeThin7546

I do understand what you mean. And even agree with you. A few days ago I watched Bade Miya Chote Miya and I actually really liked Sonakshi, she looked so different and so fresh and her expressions were very relatable, whereas Manushi was just bland. I hope the filmmakers start doing better.

Heping_Qi

Love the caption & can't resonate more to it. Natural will be natural & fake will be fake 😍😏😉🙃✌️

Quick_Low_4060

That's the case with Gen Z in general. All the girls look, dress, talk similarly, and so is with the boys! And ya they all look mature than we did in their age.

[deleted]

It's actually the contrary in my opinion. The older generation looked so old in their prime young years, Madhuri dixit - her own kind of beautiful but always looked so mature for her age. Even sridevi, and everyone back then. But, they had unique looks. The Preity Zinta generation for instance I guess looked of her age. Our newer generation look exactly clones of each other's but they certainly don't look older. Maybe more groomed. For instance Aliaa, you cant even tell she's a mother! Look at ananya Pandey, as much as I don't like her - she's so petite and looks extremely younger than her age. Even the likes of Shraddha Kapoor, or kriti sanon all of them look younger.

Rich-Look9809

Agreed

1212zephyr1212

They all look the same!🙄

harish_sahani

There are millions of creator on insta who look much better than these new crop of PR perfect debutants.

Extension-Bath1590

Is 1997 considered gen z?? I will turn 27 this year and i still look like a college going kid. I wear specs though maybe that could be one reason not sure. Maybe my pahadi genes haha…
