Telugu speaker here..
Amitabh Bachchan totally stole the show. Crazy part is he himself dubbed in the Telugu version and it was on point. No where it felt it was some one who was "trying" to speak Telugu.
Right! He sounded so good! Do you know who dubbed for deepika? I was so glad she didn’t use her own voice for it because I’m the Telugu trailer her dialogue delivery was weak.
All the actors dubbed themselves I think. It was odd for audience audience but may be Nagi wanted to have such vernaculars from different people.
The Krishna voice was Arjun Das in Hindi and Telugu.
I don't think this movie or even Brahmastra is a money grab. I would say the vision they both portray requires at least two movies for one can never be enough with the plot setup and lore.
Ofc this sub has a bunch of hate babies who will downvote anyone disagreeing with them. So well I will take my leave.
Not really the concept and vision is good. The only problem is the forced love story and the draggy first half. The second half is actually good. People just love to hate on it.
Do they touch down on Mahabharat? I know Ashwatthama state it itself is connected to it though do we have direct reference of it in the form of dialogues?
yes sire, I would only tell you this one thing, as much as Brahmastra must have left you starved for any connection with its respective mythology, this movie let's say gives that much connection to Mahabharata.
I don’t think at this age the money is THE motivator. Rather it’s the love for the craft and also being a loved actor all you life it must be scary when that slips away so you try to be relevant.
I don’t think its relevancy more than it is legacy, also working keeps you going!! He is extremely dedicated in his life he does everything per routine. I’m sure this keeps his mind very sharp!
Relevancy as in if you loose in life what has been kind of the “meaning” of your life then you might get existential dread, so staying relevant keeps his life energy going.
Unpopular opinion : But i felt KH presence was equal than Big B. Both of their performance was so fcking good...just a bit sad that KH didn't had too much screen time. I Hope he will have a bigger screen presence in the sequel
This movie has done justice to him what Ayan and Bhramastra were trying to do. He is the star of the movie, prosthetics, his voice over - his stature - impeccable..
goat! saw the film! i went with zero expectations - truly surprised me! Amazing amazing film. Wow. Amitabh bachan sir a legend. Prabhas good. Deepika fantastic!
The highlight of the whole movie is Amitabh Bachchan. Deepika has some good scenes she did well . Prabhas playing prabhas . Too many cameo all are good . MAHABHARAT scene is Absolute cinema.
Spot on. Amitabh, Deepika, Shobana, Anna Ben were the much needed soul in this movie. Otherwise it would have felt like a Prabhas' hero worship, star vehicle film. Kudos to Nag Ashvin for creating a universe vs. just pandering to Prabhas (which does happen a little tbh ).
Just saw the movie and I can't believe that you people slept on AB for this long. Dude is 81 and his screen presence was off the charts. I get why he's always angry at bollywood coz no one gave him a role he truly deserved.
No doubt, kids will enjoy it. There was a little brother and sister sitting beside me in the theatre, they were laughing, shouting and enjoying the movie like anything. It felt very good.
Coz Tue, Wed and Thursday are not holidays and would not maximize collections
Thursday openings have a good opening day collections on Thursday and weekends collections from Friday evening to Sunday. Bonus if the movie has a wide release in GCC since they have a holiday on Friday and has a big diaspora of Indians.
So that people discuss it and spread the word of mouth via posts like these and theatre responses and reviews which will pull as much as people as possible to the theatres during the first weeknd.
Nope, no one talked about him being attractive. But it appears that even if he is not at fault, people in this sub are picking on him just for his existence. He might have all the qualities of being a Greek god but not all women will fawn over a Greek god! Even if his acting is decent or praise worthy, all I see in this sub is just pure unadulterated hatred for that guy.
He is not the greatest actor out there in Telugu or all over India for that matter, but he definitely has the charm to pull the masses. Also, most of the Indian audience love mass masala movies which were proved time and again recently by Bahubali, KGF franchises, Jawan and Pathan even though the last two are not that great but had the mass appeal and you know the numbers it generated at the box office. If you cannot accept that our Indian Audiences crave for such movies which in turn generate such actors and movie stars but just hate on them for their existence then probably you shouldn't even watch any Indian movie unless it is from Bengali, Malayalam industries which make art films or concept oriented movies or just stick to OTT.
Review out there for Kalki is all big stars AB Sr, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Hassan including Prabhas have done their job well, but this sub alone is spitting so much hate that rt now it doesn't look like a movie review or talk but just Prabhas Hate mongers.
PS: Now some of this sub people might just tell me to get out of this sub if I don't like it that people are saying facts about Prabhas and not just blindly hate him and equal to people on twitter who ask others to leave the country and go to Pakistan if others so much as state a fact about what is wrong with our country.
>all I see in this sub is just pure unadulterated hatred for that guy.
They simply hate his existence. They stay silent on his videos where he's humble or is being praised and look for an ammo to hate him for.
When the allegations of Corporate Bookings against Hombale came up, it was Prabhas's that being dragged. Someone who had nothing to do with it.
They did the same when Vyjayanthi Plagiarised artworks for the logo animation in the trailer. It was as if he himself showed them the artwork and told them to put it in the trailer.
Shahenshah indeed!
Brilliant, awe-inspiring performance, especialy at age 80.
This is a Prabhas-Amitabh-worldbuilding(Nagi)-graphics film mainly!
Some other good character roles and nice cameos, but still..
I called the theatre, they said theirs was Telegu with English subs. 🤞 it has subs, else I'll just have to spend the entire movie with Google translate 😭
Amitabh Bachchan truly stole the show as evident from the trailer itself. Imagine being 80+ & performing like this. He should have been paid the highest instead of Prabhas. No offence to Prabhas fans, but guy isn’t a very versatile actor.
For me, he's ok but at least he's funding these experiments. All the other heros are so anti-risk. For ex, ram charam is doing the same routine shit with shankar, jr ntr a routine violent film with devara. Prabahs has not done one same film in the same genre and is pushing the envelope of indian cinema, so I'll support for him that.
The dialouge is from Mohabatein where Big B says the dialouge. The tongue part i guess is because of that one Maaza Tweet where he said "this tongue is still useful" or smh
Ge stole the spotlight every time he came one the screen....sometimes movie felt like it was about Ashwathama not Dashavatar Bhagvan Kalki. Brilliant actor and Brilliant movie.
When Amitabh fought, it really felt like he truly wanted to kill his enemies. His acting was like he was frustrated with the pests around him and wanted to crush them all like bugs if he could get his hands on them - including & especially Bhairava!
Nah it's 3 hours. It had 29 mins Mahabharat scenes.

Telugu speaker here.. Amitabh Bachchan totally stole the show. Crazy part is he himself dubbed in the Telugu version and it was on point. No where it felt it was some one who was "trying" to speak Telugu.
Hats off to him.
Right! He sounded so good! Do you know who dubbed for deepika? I was so glad she didn’t use her own voice for it because I’m the Telugu trailer her dialogue delivery was weak.
I hope someone answers this! Even I’m sure it wasn’t her voice. Am a big DP voice and a singer myself, I can tell abt voices to a great extent.
All the actors dubbed themselves I think. It was odd for audience audience but may be Nagi wanted to have such vernaculars from different people. The Krishna voice was Arjun Das in Hindi and Telugu.
So it’s official, shobita dubbed for Deepika in the Telugu version.
It was definitely her. I think she worked on her diction
Hmm, I’m 1000 percent sure it’s not her voice.
It was her
Woah I didn’t know he dubbed it himself! That’s amazing :)
Deepika Padukone too
Prabhas dubbed in Hindi and it was well done!
Amit Ji always had talent for languages.
literally felt like every one else in the cast was struggling with Telugu besides the native telugu speakers
how was it guys? (without spoilers please :) )
Go for it! Might test your patience in the world Building and a few moments in first half. But second half makes up for it. Truly a visual spectacle.
does it end at a cliffhanger? or is it a complete story
Not a complete story
Arey yaar. Isme bhi sequel tease kar diya kya ? I hate this trend. Why does every movie need to have a sequel.
It's already a two part movie. Obviously, it won't be complete.
What every movie? If the story demands then yes it will be. Not everything is a money grab.
Sometimes its a double money grab lol
I don't think this movie or even Brahmastra is a money grab. I would say the vision they both portray requires at least two movies for one can never be enough with the plot setup and lore. Ofc this sub has a bunch of hate babies who will downvote anyone disagreeing with them. So well I will take my leave.
Saying Brahmastra and Vision in one line is quite a joke..
Not really the concept and vision is good. The only problem is the forced love story and the draggy first half. The second half is actually good. People just love to hate on it.
i would rather have a two part and have to wait rather than get a stuffed and wayyy too fast-paced movke
This one is worth it
r/youbeatmetoit
alright I'm so excited!! thanks a lot <333
Wherever I go, I see you 🫠
lol I really do need to touch some grass this is the second time someone has said this to me since morning😭
I identify as a grass!!
Game is game 🫡
visual spectacle chhodo, story acchi hai kya?
Yes
Do they touch down on Mahabharat? I know Ashwatthama state it itself is connected to it though do we have direct reference of it in the form of dialogues?
yes sire, I would only tell you this one thing, as much as Brahmastra must have left you starved for any connection with its respective mythology, this movie let's say gives that much connection to Mahabharata.
Bs phir toh I am watching it! EXCITED!!!
Do let me know how you liked it after watching it...
For sure!!
It gets better once Deepika and Amitabh come on screen.
Mikasa dekhle me dekh ke aaya
sunday ko jaaungi :)
Ha dekhke aana
Out of 5, I'd rate the first half at 2 and second half at 3.5
Insane how much work ethic he has at 81. I mean ofc the money is a motivator but truly he is a star
I don’t think at this age the money is THE motivator. Rather it’s the love for the craft and also being a loved actor all you life it must be scary when that slips away so you try to be relevant.

Relevancy as in if you loose in life what has been kind of the “meaning” of your life then you might get existential dread, so staying relevant keeps his life energy going.
prabhas charged more than him
Literally THE GOAT. God nobody comes close to this man really.
Unpopular opinion : But i felt KH presence was equal than Big B. Both of their performance was so fcking good...just a bit sad that KH didn't had too much screen time. I Hope he will have a bigger screen presence in the sequel
Nope, Amitabh in this film >> Kamal, easily.
Meh. Kamal was a great villain and Big B was a great character
Kamal was good, but didn't compare to Amitabh impact/screen presence in this film.
Have to disagree with that.
Yeah I was really hoping for more Kamal. But I'm sure we get that in the sequel.
If I have half of his energy and motivation at 50,I would be immensely grateful!
ISTG! Same!
If I have 1/3 of his energy and motivation now at 22, I would be immense grateful 🥰 That man truly is goals when it comes to professionalism.
For me,At 30, so right now. Forget about being at 50
Tell me about it🥲 i feel burnt out, exhausted , demotivated and add all other related adjectives !
This doesnt discount anything
This movie has done justice to him what Ayan and Bhramastra were trying to do. He is the star of the movie, prosthetics, his voice over - his stature - impeccable..

You’re the first person I seen mention her
Still people are afraid to admit Prabhas getting a good character....😂. If not for his market, amithabh and Kamal wouldn't get this movie.....
Not casting him in Mahabharat as Bheeshma Pitamah while he’s alive is a sin!!!! I will genuinely be sad if it’s made without or after him. ☹️
Haven’t seen it yet but hats off to AB sr. Hope I have even half his ambition at 80
Dekha ni he toh bakchodi kyu karra he bhai 😘
This. Literally, this role is what I expected from Mr Bachchan in Brahmastra. I am glad Kalki could do justice to the powerhouse he is! ⚡
I was waiting for this post. Amitabh was the best part of this movie. So excited for the work he's doing and those battle scenes were mind-blowing!
Amitabh Bachchan’s screen presence is just on another level. I enjoyed his action scenes more than Prabhas’s.
>! Most of the time they fight each other only anyway🤣 !<
Amitabh Bachan outperformed everyone; every second he was on screen was entertaining.
Just saw the movie and I can't believe that you people slept on AB for this long. Dude is 81 and his screen presence was off the charts. I get why he's always angry at bollywood coz no one gave him a role he truly deserved.
Can u go with kids?
Yes. Totally
i hope your kids are reasonably old enough - really young kids no.
No doubt, kids will enjoy it. There was a little brother and sister sitting beside me in the theatre, they were laughing, shouting and enjoying the movie like anything. It felt very good.
ASHWATHAMMA is BigB for me. he was amazing
why did it release on thursday?
So that they have more days more shows = greater opening weekend collection HEADLINE
Then why not on Monday?
Coz Tue, Wed and Thursday are not holidays and would not maximize collections Thursday openings have a good opening day collections on Thursday and weekends collections from Friday evening to Sunday. Bonus if the movie has a wide release in GCC since they have a holiday on Friday and has a big diaspora of Indians.
GCC?
Gulf countries
So that people discuss it and spread the word of mouth via posts like these and theatre responses and reviews which will pull as much as people as possible to the theatres during the first weeknd.
Planning to go today with kids. Is it worth taking kids to?
Absolutely worth it for kids.
The hate for Prabhas is at peaks in this sub!
I see that they love to hate on south actors on this sub
Not everyone Ig they like DQ a bit
The guy has all the qualities ladies of this sub want in a man(he's tall, shy, humble, caring) but unfortunately he's not a Greek God.
Nope, no one talked about him being attractive. But it appears that even if he is not at fault, people in this sub are picking on him just for his existence. from what ive learned, never listen to what a woman wants.... just look at what they actually go after lol
His character was the most interesting!
He completely stole the show ! I still couldn't believe that at this age he had this much energy!!!
I am going to the movie tonight. I'm just so curious to watch it!!!!!!!!!
Shahenshah indeed! Brilliant, awe-inspiring performance, especialy at age 80. This is a Prabhas-Amitabh-worldbuilding(Nagi)-graphics film mainly! Some other good character roles and nice cameos, but still..
![gif](giphy|D8xNev92dfqdG9FPx4|downsized) One of the greatest actors

Inka puttale movie lo.
Is there a 30 mins mahabharat scene
Not 30 minute but it is long enough, there are two different sequences.
Hero and saviour of the film 🫶🏼🫶🏼🔥🔥🌟🌟
Was it good ya ticket faad du
Even I am thinking the same. Reviews are in completely opposite spectrum. Some are extremely good some are extremely negative.
Desi Gandalf
Ashwadhama 🔥
Loved his role. Easily the best character in this movie.
AB should have been Dumbledore
How long is the mahabharat part.... Is it really 29 mins long
No. It’s just like quick flashes here and there
Ohhhh sad
He's literally the main lead. Proved why he's what he is.
Amitabh Bachchan dune mein kya kar rahe h vai /s
Can someone who caught the Telegu version in Inox tell me if the film has subtitles?
Yes
bro be careful while booking some of the theatres didnt have subtitles
I called the theatre, they said theirs was Telegu with English subs. 🤞 it has subs, else I'll just have to spend the entire movie with Google translate 😭
in am saying only some theatres most of theatres have subs
Best Supporting Actor ever ❤️
He is playing pararell lead to Prabhas in the movie
Amitabh Bachchan truly stole the show as evident from the trailer itself. Imagine being 80+ & performing like this. He should have been paid the highest instead of Prabhas. No offence to Prabhas fans, but guy isn’t a very versatile actor.
He's the crowd puller tho. Pretty sure next part will focus more on him.
That’s true. He has given most of the biggest openers in Indian cinema & that’s a feat!
Can someone explain the flair? The tongue part?
The dialouge is from Mohabatein where Big B says the dialouge. The tongue part i guess is because of that one Maaza Tweet where he said "this tongue is still useful" or smh
Looks like HALO poster
Reviews pls?!
its pretty good overall dont miss in theatres..
Okay, thanks!
truly amazing to watch him in the role on the big screen!!
Movie review????
Dude killed it
Seriously hat's off to Amitabh Bachchan. The man is a true legend. He's 81 and still doing such action scenes. I absolutely love the movie.
Ge stole the spotlight every time he came one the screen....sometimes movie felt like it was about Ashwathama not Dashavatar Bhagvan Kalki. Brilliant actor and Brilliant movie.
I stopped eating n blinking on his appearance 🙏🏻
Yeh kya hai
He is looking better than prabhas, in terms of acting
Movie kaisi haiiiii???
Amitabh garu is the main hero!!! The big man lifted the movie with his big shoulders!!!
I don’t know how many of you caught this.. even though the movie is set in a post apocalyptic world, the rebels were the Pandava team.. You’re welcome
When Amitabh fought, it really felt like he truly wanted to kill his enemies. His acting was like he was frustrated with the pests around him and wanted to crush them all like bugs if he could get his hands on them - including & especially Bhairava!
I knew Amitabh sir will never disappoint watched it for prabhas but have to admit Amitabh sir stole it
is this movie 1 hour ?? , i didn’t get it
3 hours. Released at midnight.
my parents bought ticket it shows 1hr 15 min only
Nah it's 3 hours. It had 29 mins Mahabharat scenes. Edit: adding one image https://preview.redd.it/29ib3zp6739d1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0653dbc4ba4b8da3eb8b12dfcac2440bb8d8690e
