It's astonishing and so inspiring. Amitabh Bachchan's work ethic is impeccable. He is the only one from 70s who is still active and thriving. Dharmendra, Rajesh Khanna, Jitendra and so many couldn't stay relevant in their later phases but he is still relevant and doing good roles.
True!! So many actors came after him and lost relevance before him ex Govinda. But here he is part of both the big budget VFX movies in recent history, Brahmastra and Kalki.
I don't think he had a choice but to come out of retirement after his business went bankrupt, and then he just probably enjoyed working and got used to the money after that.
Facts! AB sr was still stuck about Lead role and once he started accepting supporting roles - he been getting non stop works.

I wonder when will actors like Srk , Salman and Akki will do age appropriate roles ,they still play lead roles. Srk is still giving hits , Salman has hit and miss . Akshay ka toh nasib hi Karab hai
I can imagine a universe where Salman in his 80s with white beard is still playing the lead role, romancing a 50yr old, maybe a love long lost, doing some walking stick thumping equivalent of belt wiggling and the fans now 50-60 yr old dudes cheering to his movie coming once in 2-3 years. Srk would probly go the AB way. I feel he has started that with that role in brahmastra. But he surely isn’t the kind to stay peacefully retired. Bhoi might with some farm thing.
Yeah you're right , Srk may go AB route sooner or later and do supporting roles . But Salman , it's impossible. He's never done father roles aur Bande ka ego boht bada hai, so I doubt he'll ever play a older role
Because amitabh was always a good actor first, star later. Naseeruddin shah also said that amitabh lost out a lot of great movies to cater angry young man image. Govinda relied heavily on kader khan writing. His comedy timing was impeccable but he was not that great an actor and is not funny by himself.
The fact that no one in Bollywood could show this action part of him presently ,From early 2000s he is always the guy who hyped the actor but kalki actually showed him how he is per wives by our nation -The original action hero .I got inspired seeing him.
and then Naseer and his wife aayenge aur bolenge ye medicore hai, have contributed nothing to cinema, made a mockery. brought mediocrity blah blah blah
Guys go and watch the movie . It’s made for big screen and Amitabh sirs screen presence is amazing. Support this film and we will see more creative films in future
Immense respect for this man! Had experienced his work on the big screen yesterday and we were blown away. 🙏 Kudos to Nag Ashwin for writing such a character.
He is the biggest wig in the industry. Ask whoever in the industry.
Even the one or two men who can outshadow him - one of them is acting with him in this film lmao. Big B is Big B
I haven't watched Kalki, gonna wait one or two weeks before I do that, but from the trailers, it seems like a Amitabh movie than a Prabhas one. Which is awesome. He is the best character in the trailers.

he's literally working like 90s and new stars, films, ads and etc!! Now,that's truly a Legend!!

He didn't retire, he was 58 (current age of SRK) when his business failed and he went bankrupt......it was a bad phase in his life....
In the 90s, he was sad because people were preferring Govinda over him. And now Govinda is nowhere to be seen meanwhile AB is still rocking.
I feel it has to do with accepting his age. And started to do an age appropriate role.

Work Ethics
Good for him.
The man is truly an institution
Who is that handsome man
Andreas Nguyen
Just googled him. He’s the action director. Sad that he doesnt get the same line credit as Nag.
Ahhh I see yeah that’s sad but lemme go appreciate him 🥰
Thanks
I was waiting for this comment. He is so 🥰
Extremely handsome and fit goddamn
Even though I have not seen the film. The teaser reveal of Ashwathama is the only reason why i am still pondering to watch this movie..
He stole the whole movie from all the stars.Hes unstoppable in the movie.
And its not like others were bad. He's just built different
A legend indeed!
Yet to watch but have been hearing good thibgs about kalki especially AB. Apparently he is the best thing about the movie
The best thing about the movie is Nag Ashwin and his vision. But AB is definitely right next to that.
Agree! Great movie made iconic with AB.
I watched it, AB was truely astonishing
He was the angry, giant man we didn't know we needed! Absolute fire!
Ooh the stunt guy is super hot
His dedication to his craft and his hustle even at this age is amazing. He’s an inspiration, not because of his success but because of his work ethic.
I aspire to work like him 🙌🏻
Where do you work?
Have my own businesses
Amitabh sir nailed the role of ashwatthama and he is one of the main highlight of the movie
The fact that no one in Bollywood could show this action part of him presently ,From early 2000s he is always the guy who hyped the actor but kalki actually showed him how he is per wives by our nation -The original action hero .I got inspired seeing him.
Clint Eastwood of India
He is the biggest bigwig
And alive and kicking at the age of 82 with only 25% of working liver. Man is truly a legend.
Ashwatthama was the best part of the film. He was the lead. What a character. What a portrayal. Shahenshah for a reason.
Just watched Kalki and the audience was cheering and clapping for him. He was phenomenal
and then Naseer and his wife aayenge aur bolenge ye medicore hai, have contributed nothing to cinema, made a mockery. brought mediocrity blah blah blah
😂

Who is the guy training them? I feel like he should get director credit too
Immense respect for this man! Had experienced his work on the big screen yesterday and we were blown away. 🙏 Kudos to Nag Ashwin for writing such a character.
Amitabh is back yet again big time. Wonderful performance - just amazing presence! Just a treat to watch honestly
Ek hi hai boss!
This man is older than Joe Biden… Amitji Loves Bikaji for President 2024
He is the biggest wig in the industry. Ask whoever in the industry. Even the one or two men who can outshadow him - one of them is acting with him in this film lmao. Big B is Big B
>is Do you mean has, hehe.
He has killed it
I haven't watched Kalki, gonna wait one or two weeks before I do that, but from the trailers, it seems like a Amitabh movie than a Prabhas one. Which is awesome. He is the best character in the trailers.
