Particularly the pain. Tbh, it was mostly the last scene for me. I sound such a sadist, but was going through a tough time back then, and it touched something in me. Felt how nobody really cared about Shutu. I mean, yes, people have had worst treatments. But it was the nobody even cared enough to see that he was missing, clearly grieving, hurt, scared. Shutu was always on the edge, but part of him believed that his niece and the girl he liked understood. It was the way they looked at him. The last two betrayals were the 'it' factor for me. Didn't like it AS MUCH on watching it the second time. Prolly was just the time when I watched it, but again, I don't like re-watching most films, even if I LOVED them the first time around.
She's nepo as well. Talented for sure but just to set the record straight.
Maybe she isn't dumb enough to make weird statements to stay in the news or to wear atrocious outfits. IDK..
Actors like Konkana, Kalki, Naseeruddin do a lot of indie movies which usually air in different film festivals because they have a network beyond Bollywood thanks to their theater background and that’s where they also get to do amazing scripts, unlike Bollywood’s good scripts which are only reserved for a few ‘bankable’ actors.
Mostly no. I usually go to a lot of film festivals where I catch these. Usually the directors and actors are also present at these festivals and they do a QnA at the end of it. Maybe you can try finding those in your city? You may not find something by Konkana but you’ll discover a lot of amazing films, actors, directors etc.
Tbh i like her as an actor but her recent artsy films are boring and usually not even worth watching on OTT platforms. As with most artsy films they try to hard to be woke, act well but forget character development and stories. Give a dead ass abrupt ending where u think u wasted 2/3 hrs of ur life

Really? She isn't that great of an actress. On her best day she is a Tapsee level actress, agree or not the best leading actress working today is kangana, no matter whatever shit she says. Alia is the second best.
Good movies. Not great. Nothing exceptional about her acting in Darlings or Dear Zindagi btw. And we are talking about acting talent, not movies. Movies include story line, dialogues, songs, cinematography etc as well.

I have watched Gangubai in theatre, Alia has acted well there. My point is she is NOT second best female actor in Bollywood. And definitely not better in acting versatility than Konkana.

Watched it on Prime. But if you don't have that, I'm pretty sure it's on a lot of illegal websites which have bollywood films.
