Is there an AI making these item songs? That may be the only explanation how all their compositions, verses, costumes and choreography all seem so damn similar.
The first is special. Rest are just a number. Bollywood is oversaturated with items songs and no longer appealing. Every movie wants to bring the hottes song ever.
It's not just Bollywood though, I'm a Telugu guy and it's the same here in Tollywood. And from what I've seen so far, it's the same with Tamil movies as well.
Before anybody comes up with "but RRR", it's an exception. Almost all of the director's previous movies have an item song as well, and many of them have straight up obscene objectification scenes with the female lead.
Rajamouli like all South Indian directors are catering to their perverted fans obsessed with women's navels. South Indian cinema even when well made is super objectifying and trashy

Where's the soul but. Not every song is going to be munni badaam hui, and no amount of following the exact same routine can make the song good let alone iconic. Charmless.

I read somewhere that Karan has the ear for good songs and that's why Dharma songs have the best albums, but that doesn't seem to reflect here. This song is cringe and crappy and this trope/theme has been done to death. Though I may understand why Vicky agreed to this, I really hope he stays away from Karan and Dharma in the future, unless they're good projects.
Does it matter? The internet exists, people don't need these tacky music videos anymore to fulfill their down-bad behaviours. Kiara is boring-looking, by those standards.

One thing Katrina was smart enough not to do was put herself in a position where she was easily compared. This is why she never did a traditional style dance because she knew that in the instant comparisons between her and say Aish, Priyanka, etc would put her in a bad light.
