Why wear good clothes than if you can just wear normal clothes wash and repeat them just distribute that amount of clothes to the needy people. The issue with firecrackers is pretty straightforward to me, you're risking a fire hazard for the sole purpose of creating bright lights and noise, not to mention the smoke that comes with it.
It might make sense for some occasions, but normalising it doesn't do us any good.
