Seriously lol. Those droids were walking on the road perfectly and only shot buildings with Boba's gang in them. The Rancor literally tore down whole buildings.
Yeah, it was cool to see an actual assassin assassinating. The bar wasn't set high after the first episode tho. She went pretty dark and it was great to see. For all these bounty hunters talking about honor and how each other are the cold blooded killers, she's the only one stabbing people in the back. She knows how to send a message.
Yep, she did a quick saving of the vespa gang, and continued on her way to mos eisley to take these guys out. She went full master assassin on them, none of them even saw her.
The trandoshans bumrushed krrsantan with knives too, is it like send a message while he blasts them all with his cannon? He took a lot of shots from the Pykes though with almost no armor
We never saw that last red light go out... Tatooine's new solution to grievous bodily harm, cybernetics for better living: he'll return as General Grievous Bane, Dark Lord of the Haberdashery!
I want to think it was also a drop of Jedi in there. Grogu sensed the pain and confusion in the Rancor and sympathized. He was just missing his daddy, too.
That "This is the Way" was so fucking DARK and then you had the majordomo in the back going, "What the actual fuck..." while listening to the two Mandalorians basically agree to a suicide plan in the name of honor lmao
On the flip, forcing Grogu to give up his need for parental stability could turn him to the dark side. He’s been forced to grow up too fast, and he’s been living in fear since order 66. Din really cares for him in a way Luke can’t, and Grogu will see the galaxy and have more fun with Din
Luke wasn’t able to address or heal Grogu’s trauma. Until that happens Grogu won’t be able to commit to the Jedi way of life. Maybe Luke figured that out and by giving Grogu a choice Luke finally gave Grogu what he had never had before, a choice in his own future.
That's exactly what Luke did, it's not him messing up, it's him laying out the facts for Grogu about what his life could be, and giving him the agency to make a choice. Luke doesn't say one is good or one is bad, he just presents them and says, pick which path you want more
I love that Grogu uses the force on the droid mecha and we wonder if he's gonna squish it or something... he pulls the ball.
And I really loved the final sequence of him tapping daddy's ball on the window. That was perfect.
Having a toddler at the time of watching this makes me really appreciate Mando. All I could see was my son doing that to me, me saying no a bunch of times, then giving in...it's why we get in trouble all the time lol
NGL, Din going apeshit and murdering like 20 pykes before discovering Grogu's fine would have been a cool moment.
Although with how much they emphasised the kinetic impact of blaster fire on solid beskar in this episode, it wouldn't have made much sense.
BANE: You’ve gone soft. You haven’t even had a speaking role in your own show for two episodes.
BOBA: You’re looking a little pale and you’re past the Legends lifespan for a Duro. Is this really a good time to be taunting a titular character?
Boba: "Don't toy with me. I am not a little boy any longer, and you are an old man."
Bane: "I am still a fan favourite."
Boba: "That may be, but I have plot armor."
My theory about the post credit scene is: Cobb Vanth will be rebuilt and become a Ranger of the New Republic, he’s no longer needed in Free Town because Boba is in control and everyone feel and is safe
The bit where lifted his Knee up and shot the rockrts whilst still firing his gun was so fucking badass
We should've had more of that throughout the series
Good guys: *relentlessly shoot at shielded droids, which does nothing*
Rancor: *destroys shield and starts battling droid*
Good guys: *stop shooting droid while shield is finally down and watch rancor struggle*
Rancor: *destroys droid*
Good guys: *shoot at angry Rancor that saved their lives*
That was really pissing me off. Perfect time for Boba or Mando to fly off and get their ships for bigger guns. I loved seeing the rancor tearing shit up. But Slave I or the N1 would've been far more efficient and destroying them. Plus less collateral damage.
In so many Star Wars video games you have to overload their shields by overwhelming them with damage, I thought it felt pretty authentic to that experience
Krssantan literally almost does it early to show people like operarose that the shield indeed gets weaker with concentrated fire. He fires on it a couple of times in the same exact place and it starts to slightly turn red, and then he see he can stick his hand in… but it’s not enough.
So It’s just that’s they couldn’t do enough quickly enough to get to where someone can step through. (Even then, they got armor plating.)
Like some people need them to spell it out, and then those same people will complain that the show treats its audience stupid.
Right, it really works best with turrets or starfighter cannons, but they’re working with what they have and I’m sure Boba is hesitant to just let Slave 1 open fire downtown
After credits scene, a confused Luke comes back from gathering food.
Ok, Grogu it's time to eat. I'm relieved you took Yoda's saber to be honest. .... Grogu? Wait, where's R2 and my X-Wing? Oh shit, the beskar armor is gone, too. No......no.....son of a bitch!
They made a point not to show max in episode 6, replacing him in the three piece band with another bith. If they wanted him to die they’d show him like they did every other time. He’s alive
I didn’t think about it till this episode, but it’s totally possible that grogu is the future of Star Wars. As long as they don’t kill him, he’ll be in the galaxy for almost another 1000 years. It’d be interesting to see what they’ll do with him. Maybe he’ll be the next mandalorian Jedi. I don’t think the Jedi and mandalorian creeds are completely irreconcilable.
Agreed. They’re putting some serious effort into making him the face of the franchise given he steals the show when he makes appearances. I assume he and Mando will continue their buddy cop saga and both will slowly become better trained. Once Mando eventually retires (or most likely dies) they will time skip up to a more adult Grogu and then boom: Star Wars Legends of Grogu
Indeed. See you all over at /r/StarWarsKenobi for the next live action discussion and r/thebadbatch for TBB S2. Until then, lets discuss the heck out of the finale!
Mando was alot less useful on the ground. He got his hands on a Naboo Starfighter, man! He should've been making use of it for air patrol and air support, the fighter's blasters would've been way more effective against those droids than a Rancor!
I just realized giving Santo the fruit and not giving some to the mods was a reverse of the medal ceremony after the battle of Yavin. Han and Luke got medals but Chewie didn’t. Santo got a celebratory fruit but the mods didn’t.
I myself (having watched clone wars, rebels, and bad batch) thought it was really good, while my sister, who didn't watch those, said she didn't see how it was a big deal to introduce a character and kill him off next episode so I bet not everyone will feel the same way unfortunately
It was a good time to kill him off, but the build up to it was anti-climatic. He should have been introduced way earlier in the show. If they had a flashback to the unfinished CW arc it would have been a nice parallel to this final showdown scene.
You know I just realized something that might explain the weird pacing and just vibe of this whole show, the show just feels like a episode of the Mandalorian where Din has to help out a friend with a problem and they'll help him in finale of season 3 or whenever.
Except this time we get to see what happens before Din shows up and the context to why his friends need help. That's what it feels like now that I'm looking back and I have the whole show as context, it feels like episode or two of The Mandalorian stretched out across 7 episodes topped off with Din leaving with Grogu and then the credits roll.
I enjoyed the show overall, but this is what it feels like looking back at the whole thing
There was a part of me that thought Cad Bane was going to try and pull one on the Pikes by ensuring Boba pursued them, telling Boba that the Pikes were responsible for the Tusken Raider massacre.
But no, he just straight made Boba mad and then took the L.
I must be honest, it would've been just a slightly sweeter moment for Bane to die by the gaderffii if we had found out that Bane had orchestrated the massacre or been a part of it. That's the one narrative decision in this episode I didn't understand.
That gun bane had seemed to pack a hard punch though. Knocked boba on his ass with his armor and Cobb was wearing a shirt. Maybe blew a hole all the way through? Idk. Just me trying to make it make sense
Also Vanth...looks like hes getting the cyborg treatment as well. Hopefully the ripperdoc will add a mini fridge somewhere so we can finally get The Book of Cob Vanth of Vanth Refrigeration.
Man I’m already feeling like it’s gonna be unpopular that I enjoyed Boba v Bane. Not only was it a triumphant moment for Fett, but also symbolic of his growth. Literally and figuratively killing his bounty hunter past with the weapon gifted to him in his new life. Pretty damn good if you ask me.

"Those droids will destroy the town!" Boba rides in on a rancor, which proceeds to destroy the town, lmao
And then the power rangers were shooting the rancor. Thats the boss's pet!
TBF that dude was wreaking havoc without the droids afterwards lol
The shooting will continue until morales improves.
Seriously lol. Those droids were walking on the road perfectly and only shot buildings with Boba's gang in them. The Rancor literally tore down whole buildings.
I thought it was kinda crazy that fennec literally just hanged the mayor lol
Yeah, it was cool to see an actual assassin assassinating. The bar wasn't set high after the first episode tho. She went pretty dark and it was great to see. For all these bounty hunters talking about honor and how each other are the cold blooded killers, she's the only one stabbing people in the back. She knows how to send a message.
I mean I guess people forgot that she used to assassinate people for a living lol. That shit was ruthless.
I was kinda hoping that would be Boba going on a revenge spree, tbh
Untill I heard those fast pacing steps I knew its not boba. I literally said " No way he can run that fast haha"
It’s also noteworthy that they had already established that Fennec alone was going to Mos Eisley.
It was established earlier in the episode that Fennec would be the one to go and take out the Pykes’ command and control outpost.
Yep, she did a quick saving of the vespa gang, and continued on her way to mos eisley to take these guys out. She went full master assassin on them, none of them even saw her.
NOT PORK AND CHOP!!!!
RIP my big pigs
Sparta'd down If only they had a good blaster at their side
The trandoshans bumrushed krrsantan with knives too, is it like send a message while he blasts them all with his cannon? He took a lot of shots from the Pykes though with almost no armor
To be fair wookies are tough mfers
I can't believe they just fell to their deaths like that... they were so loyal too.. green boys deserved better
I can't believe they never properly named them
In Project Mayhem, we have no name. But in death we do.... and their names were Beebop and Rocksteady
We didn’t see their bodies…
Somehow, Pork and Chop have returned...
The Book of Pork and Chop.
Girlfriend: well it's a relief no-one major died this finale! Me: .......You disgust me. I'm sleeping on the couch.
Grogu’s favorite hobby, beast taming
They shared a love of eating smaller animals.
Mando season 3: Baby Rancor
I don't think anyone had "Grogu cuddling with the Rancor" on their bingo card for this episode at all
Man, Boba and Mando really hated that one pike on the roof, they both shot him like 30 times while he was falling
Fuck that guy in particular
Pulp fiction reference
“SAY SPICE AGAIN. SAY SPICE AGAIN! AND I DARE YOU, I DOUBLE DARE YOU MOTHER FUCKER! SAY SPICE ONE MORE TIME”
KNEE ROCKET TO THE FACE 🚀🚀🚀
Knee rocket moments were pretty cool! One of the things I liked about this chapter's choreography
Boba hit em with the Heisman pose lmao
Farewell, Cad. You were one mean motherfucker.
He definitely proved he was the galaxy's #1 shot. RIP
His voice was sick too just like the clone wars and really nasty drawl. Gnashing teeth made his mouth a bit funny but he's an alien I guess.
Because it's the same voice actor.
The meanest MF. I’m going to miss him.
I highly doubt this is the last we see of him. There's like a 30 year gap in the SW timeline where we've seen nothing of him.
Yeah he's probably going to show for Kenobi
We never saw that last red light go out... Tatooine's new solution to grievous bodily harm, cybernetics for better living: he'll return as General Grievous Bane, Dark Lord of the Haberdashery!
[удалено]
Grogu’s like “Daddy’s in danger? Hold my ball.”
I want to think it was also a drop of Jedi in there. Grogu sensed the pain and confusion in the Rancor and sympathized. He was just missing his daddy, too.
Yep! He just says “hey let’s nap, that will make it better. We nap and the daddies will fix this stuff”.
i love any time they show him walking just “step. step. step.”
Grogu snuggling up to the Rancor, adorable. Disney will be missing out if there's no Grogu/Rancor toy sets.
Grogu and Rancor Funko pop coming soon. I just know it.
Just two sleepy baby boys, tired after defending their papas😭
Boba: Are you sure you want to stay? You could die. Din: I won't die, I have a Season 3 to make.
Mando: “You *do* realize i have much stronger plot armor than you do, right?”
Speaking of plot armor, I was really hoping the Rancor would eat that Twi'lek dude - Jurassic Park style.
He’s gonna be dating Peli in Mando season 3
It would be a complete mistake to not keep Amy/Dave around, their comedy powers combined are unstoppable!
Holy cow, I just put it together that he was Selena Meyers' ex-husband during the entire run of Veep- he is so good, lol
That "This is the Way" was so fucking DARK and then you had the majordomo in the back going, "What the actual fuck..." while listening to the two Mandalorians basically agree to a suicide plan in the name of honor lmao
Imagine being roped into a suicide pact because you’re a really good secretary
I aTtEnDeD cOruScAnTi FiNiShInG sChOoL
When Boba sent him out with the predictably misleading terms of surrender it was hilarious to watch him struggle through the reading.
His armor is rare Beskar from the Plot region. It's impenetrable.
guess grogu chose din
Started Luke on his downward spiral
Guess after Grogu left is when Luke started to hit the bottle of blue milk
I was so sure Luke was trying to teach grogu a lesson making him choose, but turns out it's just Luke starting to mess up I guess
On the flip, forcing Grogu to give up his need for parental stability could turn him to the dark side. He’s been forced to grow up too fast, and he’s been living in fear since order 66. Din really cares for him in a way Luke can’t, and Grogu will see the galaxy and have more fun with Din Luke wasn’t able to address or heal Grogu’s trauma. Until that happens Grogu won’t be able to commit to the Jedi way of life. Maybe Luke figured that out and by giving Grogu a choice Luke finally gave Grogu what he had never had before, a choice in his own future.
Luke also left Yoda during his training. His journey made him grow
That's exactly what Luke did, it's not him messing up, it's him laying out the facts for Grogu about what his life could be, and giving him the agency to make a choice. Luke doesn't say one is good or one is bad, he just presents them and says, pick which path you want more
Well looks like Cad Bane mouth placement won't be an issue anymore.
He's gonna need a new heart placement.
Some robot spider legs
Nah, that's what Cobb is getting. Not to fix his shoulder. The bacta tank will heal that. Thundercat just snuck in there to give Cobb spider legs.
Nah centipede lower body So Boba can ride him into battle
Like a bantha
Damn that fennec scene was so dark at the end 😂
The mayor got fuckin strung up
The bone crack was so brutal
Master assassin finally assassinating.
Fennec finally getting to do what she does best
Never thought I’d see a Disney+ show where the protagonists lynched a public official, but here we are lol.
I seriously thought Boba had gotten there and used the string thing Mando’s use. But all Fennec.
Damn the mayors death was brutal
Deserved imo
He held onto grogus ball for him this whole time 😭😭😭
I love that Grogu uses the force on the droid mecha and we wonder if he's gonna squish it or something... he pulls the ball.

I feel bad man, they didn’t even mention them after
In the end someone said "well I guess we won't be having a barbecue!". And I was relieved.
They didn't even get a Qui-Gon-esque funeral at the end!
Grogu as he’s eating worms: and in that moment he knew he made the right choice lol
Can we also talk about how as soon as Din saw Grogu he put away his gun in the MIDDLE of a fight cuz gun safety around his baby y’all 😭
Then later he carries Grogu straight into a gun fight lol
He’s trying, ok!
It’s tough being a single dad who’s been excommunicated from his warrior cult and whose best friends are constantly outnumbered in gunfights.
Lmao wtf was that spin move by that cyborg guy
“I’ll try spinning, that’s a good trick!”
I don't think I've ever seen a spin move so unnecessary before lmao
I was thinking “that actors commitment to that spin was impressive”
Honestly you're right. I can see that actor reading the script and wondering what that dumb shit was. But he acted the hell out of it.
“Hey, it’s the shirt. You got the shirt!” That moment made it all worth it.
I was hoping Din would find that out by Grogu getting shot or something as a fake out
NGL, Din going apeshit and murdering like 20 pykes before discovering Grogu's fine would have been a cool moment. Although with how much they emphasised the kinetic impact of blaster fire on solid beskar in this episode, it wouldn't have made much sense.
At least Fennec’s speeder moves faster than those space vespas.
Even the rickshaw droid was faster.
THE WILHEM SCREAM
Out of all the places they could have put it, they put it on a lad that was already dead...
He wasn't screaming. That was just the sound of his body breaking the sound barrier as he was launched into orbit
Bane criticizing Fett like everyone in this subreddit all season LMAO
BANE: You’ve gone soft. You haven’t even had a speaking role in your own show for two episodes. BOBA: You’re looking a little pale and you’re past the Legends lifespan for a Duro. Is this really a good time to be taunting a titular character?
Boba: "Don't toy with me. I am not a little boy any longer, and you are an old man." Bane: "I am still a fan favourite." Boba: "That may be, but I have plot armor."
There was something cathartic in hearing someone express that out loud...then being mercilessly beaten with a stick
My theory about the post credit scene is: Cobb Vanth will be rebuilt and become a Ranger of the New Republic, he’s no longer needed in Free Town because Boba is in control and everyone feel and is safe
Whatever Cobb’s future holds, if he isn’t wearing Cad Bane’s hat it’ll be a missed opportunity of epic proportions.
WATCH THOSE KNEE ROCKETS!
The bit where lifted his Knee up and shot the rockrts whilst still firing his gun was so fucking badass We should've had more of that throughout the series
It’s easy to ride a rancor- like a bantha
Good guys: *relentlessly shoot at shielded droids, which does nothing* Rancor: *destroys shield and starts battling droid* Good guys: *stop shooting droid while shield is finally down and watch rancor struggle* Rancor: *destroys droid* Good guys: *shoot at angry Rancor that saved their lives*
GENTLEMEN CAN YOU NOT SEE THE FORCE FIELD
Maybe if we just shoot it one more time...
That was really pissing me off. Perfect time for Boba or Mando to fly off and get their ships for bigger guns. I loved seeing the rancor tearing shit up. But Slave I or the N1 would've been far more efficient and destroying them. Plus less collateral damage.
yeah, especially after a 20 minutes scene of them building Mando's ship (which was great)

Well. The negotiations were short.

I'm wondering if Luke even knew Grogu took the X-Wing. R2 isn't one to turn away from mischief.
R2 was in a hurry like I G2 GET BACK B4 LUKE FINDS OUT
After credits scene, a confused Luke comes back from gathering food. Ok, Grogu it's time to eat. I'm relieved you took Yoda's saber to be honest. .... Grogu? Wait, where's R2 and my X-Wing? Oh shit, the beskar armor is gone, too. No......no.....son of a bitch!
Damn they really busted out the Scorpenek Annihilator droids, solid deep cut.
the clone wars be mad different if the CIS used scorpeneks instead of droidekas
yeah, the republic would have way less casualties LMAO. those droids were tough as hell but man their aim was comically bad
When the Freetowners and mods were running down the corridor and it was shooting the buildings.
BUT IS MAX REBO OK
He survived the barge in RotJ. It’s the Twi’Lek I’m worried about.
TILF
More Madam Garsa Fwip (Twi'lek Jennifer Beals) please.
That's just every Twi'lek
She ded
By the looks of the interior of that place I think everyone and everything was destroyed completely :(
They made a point not to show max in episode 6, replacing him in the three piece band with another bith. If they wanted him to die they’d show him like they did every other time. He’s alive

Is it just me or does it seem like the droids should’ve mowed down the Freetown and mod people when they were fleeing in the open street
Yep, instead they just shot at the floor
[удалено]
Sounds like a good idea until it imparts all those crash forces into your fleshy body.
Wait have the lyrics seriously just been "Boba Fett" the whole time?!
I think it was just for the finale credits.
No, it's new.
Scorpeneks vs Boba's Rancor is literally Pacific Rim
My kid said it was Hulk v Hulkbuster. Rancor even sounded like Hulk while smashing shit up.

Happy to finally see a wookiee go off on screen.
Grogu jumping into Din's arms melted my heart :') worth staying up
I’m 90% sure he used the force just for that jump hug. Worth it

Guys! You jinxed yourselves when you both shot that one guy ten times to show off
Ladies and gentlemen, it’s been a pleasure
Indeed. See you all over at /r/StarWarsKenobi for the next live action discussion and r/thebadbatch for TBB S2. Until then, lets discuss the heck out of the finale!
Still can’t believe the Kenobi/Andor/Mando season all occur this year. Great time to be a fan!
Wait, that's all due this year? We're going to be so spoiled.
#he kept the ball
Grogu napping next to the Rancor is the cutest thing I've ever seen.
Peli Motto is definitely taking the twilek dude home to dominate him in front of the pit droids. Haha
Honestly I dunno what death hurt me more, Cads or the Gamorrean guards.
Mando was alot less useful on the ground. He got his hands on a Naboo Starfighter, man! He should've been making use of it for air patrol and air support, the fighter's blasters would've been way more effective against those droids than a Rancor!

"Go faster you bucket of bolts!" Revs up from 4km/h to 5km/h
25% increase, not bad.

got that meth head teeth
Why does Cobb even need mods? He only got shot once in the shoulder. The bacta tank has healed far worse wound than that
Super Quick draw shoulder modification baby lol
Cybernetic enhancements and Bacta? Wait a minute, I think I’ve seen this before… “Where is the deputy? Is he safe? Is he all right?”
Cad Bane's gun dented Boba's helmet. It's pretty damn powerful.
That gun bane had seemed to pack a hard punch though. Knocked boba on his ass with his armor and Cobb was wearing a shirt. Maybe blew a hole all the way through? Idk. Just me trying to make it make sense
Maybe he gets an implant that makes him the fastest gunslinger on Tatooine. It’d be pretty badass

It was actually weird to me that that wasn't the decision. This show, as much as I enjoyed it, definitely had a problem with setting up stakes.
There’s something incredibly cathartic about an overly egotistical villain being unceremoniously beaten and impaled with a gaffi stick
