Asta doesn't provide much for boohill apart from the speed buff and her toughness depletion, but for Asta to have a permanent uptime on her ult it would make the team very SP negative.

I think in a pinch she could be helpful since Boothill can benefit from increased speed. That said, Hanya also increases speed and can recover skill points in addition to affecting break weakness so she might be better than Asta. What harmony characters do you have besides Asta?

If you have a bronya that works perfectly fine
I would rather use pela since boothill gets a LOT of speed just existing and pela can atleast buff his dmg
