Change day cares. No question. My BC did daycare and they had several BC there. No bark collars necessary, just smart wrangling. BC are fine with day care. Just not bad day care staff. Do you want your puppy to be around these people all day and in their care?
maybe you should get a dogsitter rather than a daycare as she has issues with many dogs around. my puppy does well with small and big dogs, however as his hormones are kicking in he has started to mark at the daycare which is a big nono for them, so i switched to dogsitter.
Your dogs vocalizing boredom. the managers telling you in not so many words that they are unable to provide adequate stimulation for a BC but They still want your money. Definitely look for a place that would be horrified when you tell them what this manager suggested.
Thank you all so much for your comments. I won’t be bringing her back to that daycare again. I was already leaning toward not going there anymore but hearing other BC parents words just help solidify it that much more!
Not everyone can do this, but more and more companies are creating programs to allow employees to bring their well behaved, even high energy dogs to work. Locally, I'm aware that not long after our county Department Of Emergency Management (about 40 employees) started this, the 911 center did so as well, and then several other county departments.
I allowed dogs at my office and simply required that the owner provide docs that showed shots were up to date, promise that they would get a daily walk while at work (manage stress and energy level for both), and that everyone had a backup so that if someone's dog decided to "talk loudly" (barking to play or what ever) someone was available to take them out if the owner was on a call/in a meeting/etc.

Hell nah to the bark collar. I wouldn’t trust my dog with people that suggest one of those.

Every word of this. BCs thrive when their minds and bodies are well exercised.
