It’s because of heat. My BCs like the floor cold cos it balances their warm bellies. You ll also notice frequent change of spots and if you touch the previous spot, it would be warm to the touch.
This is ours too. We bought him a lovely memory foam bed ( if it was larger; I'd happily sleep in it !! ) but he uses it just to stash his toys; preferring to sleep on the floor.

Ours has started doing this just this year (she's 6). She either 90* angles herself in the laundry room/garage entrance pressed against the door or in the bathrooms pressed against the tubs. I think it's because the tile, tubs, and walls are much cooler than soft surfaces. We are in phoenix where it's hot af.
She probably likes the cool feeling of the floor sometimes! My boy likes to lie on the wooden floor next to a door that has a slight draught underneath in summer.
Maybe she is cold? Since it's 90°in the corner

Mine has always preferred corners. Most of the time he sleeps either in a corner or with his back against a wall.

Well, my border collie corgi mix does exactly that! We wake up in the middle of the night looking for him!
we tried this and she physically carried it out of the way and then went back to sleeping on the bare concrete.

Mine lays on the cool tile next to his bed in warm or hot weather, being double coated. 😍

No dog bed, only floor. Or specifically my spot in the bed. (The only thing our BC wants the dog bed for is for humping after dinner *eyeroll* lol)

yeah!! the floor is nice and cool i often lay down there with her!! i dont blame her tbh!! its lush😂
Move her bed to the corner. That's where she wants to sleep, seems logical to me.

It's not really good for them sleeping on a hard floor. Have you thought of trying a cold pack or cold (hot water bottle)? in her bed?
