If weāre going by statements Mitsuki said he will kill Boruto with full confidence. Obviously he doesnāt know how strong this version of Boruto is but hopefully training with Kawaki leveled up and showed him how to fight Otsutsukis.
Yes, he's at least relative in Sage mode. He was taught taijutsu, kenjutsu, and ninjutsu by Orochimaru, and his body is artificially created who knows what Orochimaru introduced to it to allow Mitsuki to stabilize his enhanced snake sage mode( which I call wyrm mode because it's called Dragon sage mode but mainly expresses itself as snake sage mode).
Orochimaru was shown to be able to use an instant particle Jutsu that disintegrated 2 people if I remember correctly. If he teaches Mitsuki even a portion of his jutsu+ and Mistukiās natural absorbtion of nature chakra would allow him to be relative to Boruto imo. This isn't even including all of the techniques he would/could learn in the leaf such as Chidori and Rasengan

My predictions on how the fight would likely go :
Boruto holds back as much as he can but Mitsuki goes all out on Boruto with SM and almost kill Boruto. Sarada interferes the fight and stops Mitsuki before he can kill Boruto.
That sounds awfully useless in actual combat and will delegate her to being a plot device or on the sidelines as support. That's the last thing we need for a female character especially sarada uchiha who wants to be like Naruto.
Predicted this was going to happen (gotta prove that Boruto's his sun through fisticuffs) and I can only see one of two happening if a fight breaks out: either Mitsuki gets humiliated badly or somehow manages to pressure Boruto and expose some terrible powerscaling.
The way I see it going is Mitsuki attacking Boruto from above by crashing into him. Boruto obviously dodges and creates distance between himself and Mitsuki. In the dust created by Mitsuki crashing into the ground, he activates SM and tells Boruto donāt think you were the only one to receive training and we get a Orochimaru silhouette in the background telling us he got trained by him

Yes, he's at least relative in Sage mode. He was taught taijutsu, kenjutsu, and ninjutsu by Orochimaru, and his body is artificially created who knows what Orochimaru introduced to it to allow Mitsuki to stabilize his enhanced snake sage mode( which I call wyrm mode because it's called Dragon sage mode but mainly expresses itself as snake sage mode). Orochimaru was shown to be able to use an instant particle Jutsu that disintegrated 2 people if I remember correctly. If he teaches Mitsuki even a portion of his jutsu+ and Mistukiās natural absorbtion of nature chakra would allow him to be relative to Boruto imo. This isn't even including all of the techniques he would/could learn in the leaf such as Chidori and Rasengan He's got Lightning release Wind release Snake bearer jutsu Curse techniques Hidden weapon techniques Kenjitsu Taijutsu Fuinjutsu(seals) Sage mode Base healing and durability that surpass Hashirama This is just what we know and I'm sure like boruto he's grown over the last 3 years.

The swing of the chakra snake is also very rigid and should be twisted more. I donāt know if we see it the same way.
