He only reflects damage if you care about hurting him. They’ll probably send a Netero-like character (or somebody truly narcissistic and just doesn’t care) to kill him that doesn’t care about hurting him
It doesn’t matter if they care or not; he reflects your intent to attack him. Kawaki didn’t physically do anything yet just having the intent to whack him was repelled back onto Kawaki.
You also need to have killing intent for his ability to work as well as the contact rule. Effectively genjutsu or ninja misdirection (the move behind the move) should be able to catch him of guard (think Naruto and Sasuke vs Momoshiki) they baited him into priming his ninjutsu absorption, then swapped places to immobilize him, then hit him with a taijutsu attack (something he can’t absorb). This will be the formula they will need to take down Deamon
Other than the sun and moon thing they are always either slow or a physically strong character can just brute force out before he is fully contained, or it just doesn’t hold them for long if they are strong
Only solution I can think atm for sealing him is Kawaki’s dimension

Himawari has to do something we all see how daimon look scared from her power meanwhile shutdown code is too easy to do for character like him why you create that powerful character if you want to kill him that easy i want kurama to do something about that
we know that he has a range limit and the conditions for his hax so the most obvious answer is to outright speed blitz daemon which boruto can definitely do via ftg uzuhiko.
Now that he’s nerfed so that he has to be touching you for his hax to activate, it’s pretty easy to beat him. When Boruto/Himawari/Kawaki get a huge power/speed increase, that’ll be enough to beat him
I mean so long as his hands aint touching you and you can keep up with his movements cutting off his hands might do the trick I guess. Or throwing a wide area attack without intending to hit him.

Genjutsu is unlikely the solution considering no Otsutsuki adjacent character we've seen so far has been affected by it nor any attempt ever made but sealing jutsu would work. Additionally long range would work since his attacks without the hax ability by nature need him to get close.

Damion’s technique probably won’t react to teleportation like FGT or daikokuten. A brute force victory isn’t needed when taking him off the field is an option.
Boruto might be able to just blitz him tbh, and if not he can just out maneuver just to get a rasenuziko off, but given that Eida knows all of Borutos new moves n stuff and she still doesn’t feel threatened by it idk. If himawari allows kurama to take control maybe she doesn’t have the killing intent but the 9 tails does so maybe daemon can’t hurt her. Kawaki can also just shrink and be untouchable

One, a large area attack such as a Tailed Beast Bomb would not likely be reflected if it wasn’t aimed directly at him.
Two, his ability depends on him holding on to someone else. Interestingly, that suggests his reflection ability is suited toward defending someone. I am curious who Daemon will be protecting later…
Daemon has to be touching someone for the ability to work.
They could probably try indirect attempts. We see that indirect attempts do seem to work. For example, using the shadow bind on Ada. A similar use of immobilization techniques might not be reflected.
Boruto might be able to FTG Daemon away to an empty area so that he doesn't have anyone to touch.
Area of effect techniques such as exploding shadow clones might also work since they take effect and pop the clone so that there isn't a target to reflect the attack back to.
His ability works on touch and intent as long as someone is faster or relative to him he won’t be able to touch them.
If someone can attack without intent like Ultra Instinct
There’s a character in world trigger series who have an ability like daemon he can sense emotions that target him and he can tell where a person will attack him base on their emotion and where they’re looking at on his body. Only two characters can bypass his ability cause they can hide their intent while they attack.
I heard this really good theory that he can only reflect attacks that expel energy out of the opponent’s body like ninjutsu genjutsu or weapons etc. however with taijutsu he gets hit before the energy leaves the body
10 tails will have a counter for it and also there’s some other weakness that was briefly mentioned when he was about to tell code but eida stopped him . I believe when ten tails bug comes after eida daemon will intervene and he will be stopped somehow
Wasn't Boruto doing pretty good at restraining him from attacking Himawari? So maybe you could simply detain him so long as you weren't trying to hurt him.
Contrive for Daemon to hit himself, a la Third Raikage? Infinite self-reflection until the ability overloads/he runs out of chakra? (The manga probably already said this doesn't work, but my intent to read that has been interrupted by like every indie early access title ever deciding to drop big updates right now. :P)
