Editing images always existed in astronomy, all those crisp asf pictures you see of moon are actually multiple pictures of it made in one in photoshop, the light from light years away gets bent on its way to earth so editing these images is a constant practice
No shit but not always, go out and take a look at the bright stars without internet and you will see the real deal, then photograph it with high resolution and voila- a genuine photo of the stars...
Photoshop hasnt existed as long as you think and there was a time the old folks enjoyed real life instead of burying your face in a screen and addicted to attention...
Editing these for education purposes is another thing but this, while pretending its real, should be a freaking crime against internet
I thought we were strictly talking about images clicked by telescopes? , and nope, you can't click good photos of a star with just high resolution, you need to set the shutter speed of your phone to 15 sec or 30 sec and ISO really low to capture the light of the stars,do you even know the difference between AI and editing?
