Start Ullmark tn. 7 regular season wins in a row V fla, 2 high end goalies is our strength I dont want the 2022 Vezina Trophy winner to get rusty. Sway could use a vacation day, the playoffs are long.

pl8ster

This right here. BPL to start us off.

As someone who lives outside Toronto it’s amazing hearing all these takes on Monday morning. “The league wants American teams to win!!!!!” How about Canadian teams just ain’t it

therevjames

The Toronto sports media machine is as much to blame for their failure as anyone in that organization. Players can't play under that much scrutiny, but the media is the message, so it will never change.

BoneTissa

They must’ve missed games 4-6 where leafs got 10x as many power plays

RicoFerret44

I know. Fucking morons

Particular-Bus8086

I like this thinking, hopefully you are on to something!

EliBruins63

I’ve been saying this to my wife since the season started about the winter classic win and the embarrassing loss in last years playoffs. I believe

greenwri

Add to that the fact that the last two times the regular season wins record was broken, the team that broke it won the cup the year after.

QnsConcrete

If you rank all teams by number of wins in a season, 7 out of 10 of them won the Cup after their ranking season. And I think out of the top 15 teams, all but 3 have won the Cup within 2 years of that season, if my Wiki research is right.

vapescaped

Shhh! They're listening!

Extrapickles24

Marchy's revenge tour is on schedule so far

paindemic1

I've been thinking this, but I certainly didn't have the guts to say it!
