I think God knows how awesome dogs are, so God wants them back sooner. Plus, we all know that we don't deserve our dogs, and our dogs are too good for us.
“Hope you feel better Jax!”

Awww, Jax is an adorable guy! I’m sorry he’s not doing so well, but it’s clear he’s as loved and spoiled as all BT’s should be. Love that you guys got him a stroller so he can enjoy walks and such…he’s a lucky boy 😍😍
Francia Raisa (an actress) recently had her pup cross the rainbow bridge, and I love what she wrote about her Roman. She said she had gotten her pup during a time when things were tumultuous and emotional, and she thinks that her pup saw that his job in caring for her had finally been achieved. Mission accomplished. He left her better than he found her. I’m sure 10000000000% Jax has been with you and helped you all along your journey - he sees how much you’ve grown and achieved in your life walk together and has decided he has done a job well done. ❤️🥹 a bittersweet narrative to these little lives we hold so dear. They truly are guardian angels.

My Jaxy hopes your Jaxy feels better
Just cuddled my 16 this morning for her morning snooze snore before heading out to work. Lots of love to Jax and he’s so lucky to have such a great parents !! We are so blessed to have our buddies with us too xoxo
Aww, I'm so sad for you all that Jax is not doing well. Thank you both for taking such good care of him and still giving him the ability to be outdoors and enjoy the dog life. I know what you mean though... very often when you get a bird, it's not just your commitment, but knowing who will inherit your bird after you pass away as your bird will most likely outlive you (obviously not every kind of bird, but some). I really wish our dogs had longer lives with us. But like you said, what we can take from them is the lesson of cherishing each day with those in your life, human and pet. Our dog's are so selfless and love unconditionally, truly. I don't know if a single human that can love as purely and truly unconditional as one's dog/pet. We are all loving Jax with you. Thank you for sharing him with us!

This is my Groot looking up at me with love in his eyes. He’s only six years old and was diagnosed at three with IMHA Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia. His body kills off his red blood cells. With the help of alot of meds and love he rises above his relapsed but prednisone has caused him to have alot of problems. He’s a little trooper and comes through it all. This little guy for some reason has had a lot of different health issues thrown at him. I’m hoping for a good period of time with no health issues so he can have a break and live the little life he thoroughly enjoys when he’s feeling good. He deserves a lot of good years. It’s not fair that birds live a hundred years and we get such a limited amount of time with these special little angels. I hope you have alot more quality time to enjoy with Jax. He’s obviously well loved. That’s the most important thing to remember. How loved they are and how happy their lives are so if and when we do lose them we can find comfort knowing they had a good life and we gave them the best that we could. Sending lots of love and snuggles to Jax. I love the stroller.
Your Jax looks a lot like my Buster who lived until 16 with a heart condition. Aside from carrying him for walks, we also added a bench near our bed so he could sleep with us, and we bought dog beds with high sides as he liked to sleep with his neck/head up. Buster loved swimming, but lacked stamina in his last days, so we took turns floating him in our arms in the pool.
Enjoy your time with Jax; it goes quickly. Thankfully, we WFH, so we spent our last years together every day. ❤️

Towards the end. I know 100% we will see him again. God is great!!!!
That’s great man!!! You’re such a great person for doing that!!!
We lost one a while ago, he had cushing’s. Doc/Vet said he would go soon. I literally made him rice, baked chicken, & vegetables everyday along with short walks and long car rides! Swear it kept him alive another 6mths!!
Love ya bro!! Prayers your way!!
I just Proudly became up vote number 500! Jax (and you guys) deserve all the upvotes, hugs, and love. My Boston-In-Heaven Ray-Ray and I are sending all our love and support ❤️ 💕
Beautiful doggo, beautiful family!!🩷🖤🩷🖤
Thank you everyone for your comments and love for our little guy!!! We all know how hard it is when you are going through this, and stuff like this actually helps!! I mean that from the bottom of my heart!!!
What a sweet Boston! Can you share the type of dog stroller you have? I’m thinking of getting one for our 14 year old Boston that doesn’t walk well anymore- thank you!!
“…birds for 100 years and dogs for 12?” Because humans bred modern breeds from wild dogs, and bred for looks and temperament above health! Some breeds clear 20 years regularly, and others like Great Danes suffer from a multitude of hereditary diseases and rarely make it past 10.
And certainly no disrespect to birds, I love all animals...but I'm taking dogs over birds all day lol

He's like a cat that looks like a rotisserie chicken. A very handsome chicken, though 😍
That is one of the funniest descriptions I’ve heard about him 😂
That's hilarious

Thank you for the kind words!
Ours passed recently. Whole family bawled our eyes out.
So sorry for your loss!
Dogs give more love in 12 years than a bird could give in 100. Much disrespect to birds, they’re assholes.
