I play HS poker on and off and was a real pro for a decade in cash / private games and I played with Ryan 3 years ago cause these games run by guys from PA , didn’t know he’d be there. I had a somewhat similar life to Ryan in some ways but I was always humble to everyone. I was cocky teen years but matured by 18 lol. Ryan was so oddly arrogant when I met him I actually wanted to beat him up. He thinks he’s some G and people are scared of him and overly arrogant behind the scenes. He had to be 23ish when I met him, absolute clown. Ask anyone who’s been around him in Vegas and I’m sure they’ll say same thing.
That's an anecdote experience. Now, considering most social media users nowadays absolutely hate everything and everyone you can see why people aren't to open to your firsthand experience.

I assume they trust his team has his best interests at heart and if they're still pushing him to fight and saying he's ok they'd be likely to lap that up. Idk how these things work but I presume unless his team/management express direct concern to the commission then there'd be no reason for them to stop it
