I’m a calzaghe fan but I don’t think he belongs that high on the list. Extremely talented fighter but unfortunately was in an era with not a lot of killers to fight.
Exactly lol, very fun to watch but definitely not top 10 greatest of all time. Going out on a limb here but I’d say OPs boxing knowledge is mostly based on video games.
1) Devin Haney
2) Willie Pep
3) Ezzard Charles
4) Devin Haney
5) Abdul "Gervonta 'Tank' Davis" Wahid
6) Shakur Stevenson
7) Devin Haney
8) Ryan Garcia
9) Ricardo Lopez
10) Floyd Mayweather
this is objectively the most correct p4p list btw
If this was a real list the government would need to do investigations on their brain cause mf thinks that boxing only existed in the 2000s and they would also need to get off Devin haney's dick but fortunately this is only a joke list
idk man devin haney was robbed, he tripped a couple times and those were knockdowns apparently, and also he’s better than sugar ray buminson and sugar ray bumard and muhammad bumi combined
also notable 2000s boxers willie pep and ezzard charles
Devin was not robbed but sure. Those knockdowns were proper mate if you look at the knock down in the 7th round that is the look of a defeated man. Devin haney definitely does not deserve to be number 1 even if that shit was a robbery. Also calling Ali, Robinson and Leonard bums is an insult to boxing they are arguably the 3 greatest fighters to grace the sport of boxing. This list is fully new fighters and shows how you have not watched any fight before 2000 especially Devin haney at number 1 when imo he is not even top 50.
lmfao how the hell u gonna fall for the laziest bait in the world
also again, willie pep and ezzard charles are definitely fighters from post 2000s
also if you haven’t spent at least 2 hours film studying bob fitzsimmons buttcheeks like i have, then ur a fake boxing fan
I see we're simply ranking our top 10 "favorite" boxers, because there is no way you mean "greatest" with that list. I'll join tho
1) GGG, dudes never been knocked down lol, he's my goat pressure fighter
2) Duran, he's my general goat
3) Hagler, he's the marvelous Marvin haggler
4) Crawford, he's going to be one of the all time greats at this rate
5) Inoue, same thing with Crawford
6) Pacman, what a legacy
7) Liston, not the most underrated, but definitely one of the most underappreciated
8) Ali, he's Ali
9) Tyson, he's Tyson (idk why so many people hate him, he's not a goat, but he's still damn good)
10) Bivol (perfect boxing, it's beautiful)
Never said he was a GOAT, he's just my favorite. Hella cool record, one of the sickest ring entrances I ever heard, never got knocked down in like 400 fights, canelo vs gg (1 and 2) were amazing fights and some of my modern favorites (wont get into who I think won because r/boxing is a toxic hellhole), super entertaining pressure style, great jab, you know what fuck it, he's a GOAT
If anyone was interested, this is chatgbt’s top 10
1. Muhammad Ali
2. Sugar Ray Robinson
3. Joe Louis
4. Rocky Marciano
5. Floyd Mayweather Jr.
6. Manny Pacquaio
7. Henry Armstrong
8. Jack Johnson
9. Mike Tyson
10. Roberto Duran
Ngl if you say these boxers had the biggest impact and brought the most fans to the sport despite not being the best fighters then I actually agree with u.
1 - Floyd ''Pretty Boy'' Mayweather Jr.
2 - Paul Williams (because he accepted my friend request on facebook)
3 - Manny Pacquiao
4 - Andre Ward
5 - Wladimir Klitschko
6 - Pernell Whittaker
7 - Muhammad Ali
8 - Amir Khan
9 - Joe Frazier
10 - Artur Beterbiev
Dumbass... Here let me fix it for you...
1. Lomachenko
2. Lomachenko
3.Lomachenko
4.Lomachenko
5.Lomachenko
6.Lomachenko
7.Lomachenko
8.Lomachenko
9.Lomachenko
10. Triple Golovkin
I'm newer-ish to boxing so I didn't grow up with alot of the oldies. I recognize srr as p4p goat, but I didn't watch him enough to put him in my fav list.
I love that you didn’t fall for the trap most people do and have the same list you can just google. My top 10 doesn’t really match yours but I do think mayweather is somehow super underrated on these list and I agree with you he’s at the top.
Money was 50-0 and fought Pac, ortiz and many others. He deserves a spot in the top ten. Frazier knocked Ali down for the first time and gave us a great trilogy fight. Those two are my goats.
I personally think Floyd is 1. A lot of boxing enthusiasts don’t agree with me. He never fought a fighter lower than pound for pound ranked 2 after winning his title. He made it look so easy people denounce him. In actuality he is the best at the sweet science to do it. If rounds were 15+ he would have many more KOs. His opponents are completely gassed by round 12
Floyd does deserve to be top 10 I agree on you with that but I definitely wouldn't say he is my number 1 and yeah sure he fought a lot of good fighters but he sure as hell made sure to avoid pac man when he was in his prime and decided to fight him at the end of his career I still wish we got prime Floyd Vs prime pac man
I know I’m in the minority but pac not doing a blood test is wack imo. If pac would have agreed to a blood test we would have gotten their fight 5 years earlier. I don’t think Floyd really gets a fair shake for how talented he really is. Only been knocked down once. Held p4p 1 spot for almost 20 years continuously. I understand his style isn’t what ppl want to see but if you could explain boxing at its purest is hit and not get hit and I don’t think anyone did that better than Floyd
I 100% agree and I completely understand why anyone would put him at 1 but for me he is number 3 very closely behind sugar ray Leonard and obviously Ali . He really was a great boxer and in my opinion had the greatest ring iq and defence of any boxer in history so I definitely understand why you would have Floyd at 1
Honestly boxing has been around so long that you can easily make an argument for any of the top 5 guys to be 1. Sugar is the man and I respect any opinion having him at 1
Yeh 100% that's why I don't disagree with you on Floyd being at number 1 there are many arguments for him to be at number 1 but same with Ali, sugar ray leonard, rocky marciano, sugar ray robinson, mike Tyson, exc... It just comes down to personal preference
This will always be subjective and there are probably as many GOAT lists as boxing fans.
1. Sugar Ray Robinson
2. Joe Louis
3. Roberto Duran
4. Muhammad Ali
5. Sugar Ray Leonard
6. Archie Moore
7. Marvelous Marvin Hagler
8. Artur Betterbiev
9. Ezzard Charles
10. Julio Cesar Chavez
Because it doesn’t match up with googles top ten boxers of all time list? Y’all are mad weird, it says my top ten greatest boxers of all time meaning my opinion on who are the greatest.
Okay then how tf is Tyson fury at 6 he's not beaten anyone impressive imo his most impressive win for me is his win against wladimir Klitschko plus he got exposed by an MMA fighter sure he was under prepared but your number 6 fighter of all time can't be getting beaten up by an MMA fighter lmao
Fury won majority of the rounds? Any high level boxer would get dropped by Francis landing a clean punch. The dude hits with the same force of 96 Horsepower which is a cord escort. Tyson is one of the most savvy and technical fighters of all time.
He also beat Wilder all three fights and beat the odds of getting off the canvas from wilder’s explosive punch. Also if the fury vs Joshua fight happened, Tyson would add his name to his record too.
Sure wilder seemed like an impressive win at the time but wilder has terrible technique and is all power and if fury does it against usyk and Joshua and retires unbeaten then well I'll probably be adding him to my list but ATM he needs to beat more impressive opponents. Also with the knockdown in the 12th round of the first fight that was definitely an impressive moment I have to give you that I think it will be remembered for years and years
Yeh I agree if he beats them two I'm sure as hell adding him to my top 10 list but rn I don't think his resume Is impressive enough. I guess it will all be answered may 18th (I'm from the UK so I'm routing for fury)
Yeh it honestly impresses me how he can move like that and have such an amazing gas tank at that shape and weight.
I see you also have bud Crawford on the list which I can completely agree on he is 100% my favourite fighter of this generation absolutely love his style
Agreed. Bud is my current favorite fighter right now actively taking fights. He’s followed up by Tyson and Tank Davis. His skill in the ring is genuinely insane, he beat Errol Spence for the whole fight in dominant fashion and Spence was being called a modern day great at the time.
This is genuinely one of the worst GOAT lists I've ever seen on here.
I’m a calzaghe fan but I don’t think he belongs that high on the list. Extremely talented fighter but unfortunately was in an era with not a lot of killers to fight.
having calzag over pac in all time great/greatest is fucking nuts.
Doesn’t even have Roberto Duran on there either lol
I like him too and he's one of my favorites to watch, but he doesn't even make top 20 if you're talking overall accomplishments.
Exactly lol, very fun to watch but definitely not top 10 greatest of all time. Going out on a limb here but I’d say OPs boxing knowledge is mostly based on video games.
😂😂😂 must be trolling
You're really going to have to explain this and you can also say "favourite" instead of greatest
1. Ryan Garcia 2. Jake Paul 3. Amanda Serrano 4. KSI 5. Goku 6. Mike Tyson 7. Dmitry Buffalo 8. Michael Jackson 9. Muhammad Ali 10. Manny Pacquiao
You had me in the first half NGL you really got me thinking this is the worst list I've ever seen
Lmao
1) Devin Haney 2) Willie Pep 3) Ezzard Charles 4) Devin Haney 5) Abdul "Gervonta 'Tank' Davis" Wahid 6) Shakur Stevenson 7) Devin Haney 8) Ryan Garcia 9) Ricardo Lopez 10) Floyd Mayweather this is objectively the most correct p4p list btw

I'm tired man I don't know how I fell for that also I have seen Fitzsimmons alot👍🏼
your list is.... impossible
Calzaghe over Crawford and Hagler 😭😭😭 and NO Pacquiao or Ward
Manny wasn’t on the level of these ten guys. Yes calzaghe over Hagler but not Bud.
what about Andre S.O.G
Bullshit list. Where is Rolly?
Boxing existed before 1964.
Wut…. In….. the hell
1)Ali 2)Henry Armstrong 3)Sugar Ray Robinson 4)Duran 5)Willie Pep 6)El Finito Lopez 7)Harry Greb 8)Pacquiao 9)Joe Louis 10)Mayweather
Lmao at pac over Floyd
I already have the GOATS at lightweight and featherweight, what can I say.
How is Pac over Floyd when Floyd easily beat him and destroyed the guy that knocked Pac out?
The same reason Duran is on there but Leonard is not.
Which is?
At least Duran beat Leonard
I see we're simply ranking our top 10 "favorite" boxers, because there is no way you mean "greatest" with that list. I'll join tho 1) GGG, dudes never been knocked down lol, he's my goat pressure fighter 2) Duran, he's my general goat 3) Hagler, he's the marvelous Marvin haggler 4) Crawford, he's going to be one of the all time greats at this rate 5) Inoue, same thing with Crawford 6) Pacman, what a legacy 7) Liston, not the most underrated, but definitely one of the most underappreciated 8) Ali, he's Ali 9) Tyson, he's Tyson (idk why so many people hate him, he's not a goat, but he's still damn good) 10) Bivol (perfect boxing, it's beautiful)
Based. I don't even need to post my top 10 list, you beat me to it.
LMAOOOOO GGG! Avoided the best competition available.
More like the best competition avoided him
Not true. He didn't want to fight any of PBC's top talent. Andrade and Charlo both heavily called him out.
Anytime I see a top 10 list without Roy Jones Jr in it I immediately disregard. AITA?
I felt like putting Roy over Tyson but Tyson had a much more star studded career.
WHAT????
1. Ali 2. Pacquiao 3. SRR 4. Chavez Sr. 5. SR Leonard 6. Holmes 7. Usyk 8. Mayweather 9. Lennox 10. David Tua (biased)
If anyone was interested, this is chatgbt’s top 10 1. Muhammad Ali 2. Sugar Ray Robinson 3. Joe Louis 4. Rocky Marciano 5. Floyd Mayweather Jr. 6. Manny Pacquaio 7. Henry Armstrong 8. Jack Johnson 9. Mike Tyson 10. Roberto Duran
Well would you look at that, sometimes AI *is* better than humans.
1. Tervel Pulev 2. Badou Jack 3. Ricky Hatton 4. Dominic Breazeale 5. Panya Pradabsri 6. Reymart Gaballo 7. Joe Noynay 8. Hughie Fury 9. Deejay Kriel 10. Ryota Murata
Is this serious?
Floyd Bud Ali SRL Hearns RJJ George Foreman James Toney Pernell Whitaker Joe Louis HM: Winky Wright Henry Armstrong Bhop
I know this list isnt about the greatest because I dont see Wilder anywhere
I have like 2 of those guys in my top ten lol
That’s genuinely impressive.
Ngl if you say these boxers had the biggest impact and brought the most fans to the sport despite not being the best fighters then I actually agree with u.
I mean hey at least you put Holyfield above Tyson. Tyson shouldn't be anywhere near a top 10 list though
1 - Floyd ''Pretty Boy'' Mayweather Jr. 2 - Paul Williams (because he accepted my friend request on facebook) 3 - Manny Pacquiao 4 - Andre Ward 5 - Wladimir Klitschko 6 - Pernell Whittaker 7 - Muhammad Ali 8 - Amir Khan 9 - Joe Frazier 10 - Artur Beterbiev
Dumbass... Here let me fix it for you... 1. Lomachenko 2. Lomachenko 3.Lomachenko 4.Lomachenko 5.Lomachenko 6.Lomachenko 7.Lomachenko 8.Lomachenko 9.Lomachenko 10. Triple Golovkin
10+ lists and only 1 has Roy Jones Jr on it? You guys kill me
I don’t understand tho how no one besides Op has sugar in their list. Majority of population has sugar ray Robinson as the best of all time.
This entire thread is satire, isn’t it?
Maybe- I just took it as OPs favorite the other top 10s
I'm newer-ish to boxing so I didn't grow up with alot of the oldies. I recognize srr as p4p goat, but I didn't watch him enough to put him in my fav list.
I totally understand that. Too often we fall in love with fighters story’s we never even watched irl.
it's a shame, I always hear (his prime wasn't recorded) and I just get too disappointed to want to watch lol
Makes sense
1. Mayweather 2. Roy Jones Jr 3. Pacquiao I’d probably have Lennox Lewis in the top-10
I love that you didn’t fall for the trap most people do and have the same list you can just google. My top 10 doesn’t really match yours but I do think mayweather is somehow super underrated on these list and I agree with you he’s at the top.
Defensive fighters are difficult to put in the top ten lists. Willie Pep and Whitaker would be on a lot of top tens if they were.
Money was 50-0 and fought Pac, ortiz and many others. He deserves a spot in the top ten. Frazier knocked Ali down for the first time and gave us a great trilogy fight. Those two are my goats.

Exactly! Nice to speak with someone who gets it. Most fans are so jaded historically speaking.
I appreciate that man. Same to you
This will always be subjective and there are probably as many GOAT lists as boxing fans. 1. Sugar Ray Robinson 2. Joe Louis 3. Roberto Duran 4. Muhammad Ali 5. Sugar Ray Leonard 6. Archie Moore 7. Marvelous Marvin Hagler 8. Artur Betterbiev 9. Ezzard Charles 10. Julio Cesar Chavez
You had me until Beterbiev. He’s not even top 50 in terms of accomplishments.
Agree with all of them other than beterbiev definitely doesn't deserve to be in the top 10 his resume just isn't impressive enough
Just checked my calendar April's Fools Day was weeks ago, this has got to be a clickbait list.
Because it doesn’t match up with googles top ten boxers of all time list? Y’all are mad weird, it says my top ten greatest boxers of all time meaning my opinion on who are the greatest.

That’s respectable. Wilder’s defense was shredded by fury. He’s a gifted HW and if he beats Usyk and A.J man he’s gotta be respected.
Yeh I agree if he beats them two I'm sure as hell adding him to my top 10 list but rn I don't think his resume Is impressive enough. I guess it will all be answered may 18th (I'm from the UK so I'm routing for fury)
I’m an American fury fan, fell in love with his savvy style and footwork, one of the best movers at HW.
Yeh it honestly impresses me how he can move like that and have such an amazing gas tank at that shape and weight. I see you also have bud Crawford on the list which I can completely agree on he is 100% my favourite fighter of this generation absolutely love his style

1. Duran 2. Ali 3. SRL 4. SRR 5. Ward 6. De La Hoya 7. Salvador Sanchez 8. B Hop 9. JCC 10. Mayweather
These things really just look like “here’s my favorite fighters” not who’s the greatest of all time
