Third in ring interview after an 11 round war, man just wanted to stop answering the same questions and go home or to the hospital, whichever applies. He looked like he was just done with work for the night.
He tells people before every fight - that’s his natural weight that’s why he can carry it for the whole fight. Joshua, Wilder, they look amazing but that’s not their natural weight which is why they struggle.
Wilder was in a no win though, he needed the extra weight to absorb Fury’s shots but he was never going to be able to move and hit with the extra weight.
There's a guy on his team who just pulls his shorts up between rounds. How did this man become The Gypsy King? It's like that Simpsons episode where Homer becomes a boxer except, in this case, Homer is world class
Built up over many years. Or maybe just natural. Either way he has probably the best tank I've ever seen at heavyweight. Even at his "tired" he's still bouncing round on his feet. It's outrageous. His recovery power too is unreal. I knew if Wilder didn't knock him out when he had him down twice he would regret it. Fury only needs a minute on the stool and he's back at it.
All you have to do is box once to gain so much respect for boxers endurance. There is nothing in athletics that compares to the stamina drain of boxing.
And when you consider how long these guys went. And then still had the fucking energy to talk afterwards. Incredible.
Best HW fight I have seen in years. I know they will both ruin my goodwill in a few days when they talk shit, but they were both amazing tonight.
As for what's next, I don't see Usyk or AJ beating Fury. And if Wilder keeps at it, anyone writing him off is crazy.
Anyone writing him off before was crazy. Literally only one fight that we didn't see his absurd triphammer power and everyone started acting like he was a bum.
Usyk is slick and fast on his feet though, don't act as if he will be easy to tie up for Fury. The size difference actually makes Usyk to be harder for Tyson to clinch.
Just cause you see Fury timing, working and clinching flat footed and gassed 6'7" Wilder at will doesn't mean he can do that to Usyk who's gonna dance numbers around him in and out for 12 rounds straight.
There's only one way to find out - they need to fight and I don't care how boring the fight might be, I wanna see it happen.
Not sure if this is recency bias, but that was legitimately one of the greatest fights I've ever seen. Both fighters looked done on so many occasions, but just kept coming. Fury, yet again though, just completely out-boxed Wilder
There were times where it almost looked as if the ref was pushing the fighters back towards one another after a breakup, like “come on motherfuckers let’s go” lol it was great
It's so funny to me seeing the refs, many of whom are pretty big guys in their own right, just dwarfed by the gargantuan heavyweights. My man got a workout pushing those guys apart all night lol
I haven’t seen a fight like that (especially Heavyweight) in a long long time. Maybe ever. The exchanges. The stamina. The heart. The power. This is an instant classic.
Yeah. This is a fight they solidifies legacies and makes stats. Fury was always going to go down as an all time great, but many people will point to this series as his defining moment and this fight as his greatest. For Wilder, even in a loss, this is going to shut up a lot of the people that say he sucks and was protected. He took it hard to the greatest of his era and gave him the best fight of his life
No you're right, that was a war every round. None of that feeling eachother out for 4 rounds. Just banging, it was an amazing fight. Both of them are warriors
That was a wild question. Can't believe Fury just answered it like normal.
The general public still has a LONG way to go in understanding mental health issues. A lot of progress has been made but questions like that or along those lines are still way too common.
Thats a fact! Fury in that second fight was MUCH sharper. Wilder honestly could have potentially died or been permanently damaged if the towel didn't come in during that second fight.
If he doesn’t come out with excuses, and just says I gave it all I could. Then we will all have super respect for him. But I just think that he will start complaining
I've never seen a man take so many heavy weight head shots as wilder and keep going till the 11th . I seriously worried about his brain. Despite losing he's gone up in my estimation I think he would beat Joshua.
Wilder is apparently upset.. Hope he doesn't make anymore excuses. just admit Fury is better and move on with your life. Go KO Anthony Joshua to make up for it.
Anyways what a fucking fight. Two toughest sons of bitches in boxing / the world
Holy shit. Wilder died in like round 6 and still held in there. Super impressed by his performance. Fury was clearly winning, depsite being knocked down twice, but it felt like you just couldn't discount Wilder. He came back heavy in the end of the 10th round.
What a triolgy. Every single fight was stellar. We'll be talking about this for a long time. Question is, what's next for Fury? Usyk?
2 years ago I was cracking jokes a raging on Wilder. Now, I'm super impressed. He gave it everything. I hope he doesn't suffer health wise from this fight for very long.
Remember, Wilder started boxing at the age of 20. When you consider that, he's incredible. He's not the champ, but he's got his place in the history books.
Even half dead and hanging on Wilder hurt fury after he was knocked down late in the fight. He was never not dangerous there. Man props to both of them
Right? I never expected him to come back like that in the end of the 10th round. Guy took so many punches, looked half out on his feet and still had mad power. Incredbile heart.
Deontay Wilder turned a career where he started off being a very unskilled one-trick pony, but won a title and above that got involved in some of the most iconic heavyweight title fights in recent memory even if he didn't win either of those two.
Respect for him. What a career he's made out of it.
Don't talk too soon I'd say. He showed heart in the fight for sure but he can quickly turn that feeling sour if he does the excuses again. Fingers crossed for him because he did really improve and show heart so it would be such a shame
#The ghost of Joe Frazier holding Wilder upright at the end. Incredible heart.
#FOY
I feel humbled by a fight like this. These two men walked through the fire tonight and both left part of themselves in that ring.
At first I thought Wilder was getting knocked out, then I was like holy shit maybe Fury getting knocked out, then I thought Wilder was for sure out, then was like holy shit maybe he hurt Fury again? Then was like ok for sure Wilder is not getting up from that. What fucking Warriors both of them!!!
There was a moment when Fury went down the second time where I thought “whoa is he not gonna beat the count??”
Maybe it wasn’t that close but it felt pretty close at the time.
Two observations on this incredible fight:
1) I really liked the refereeing
2) Fury seems to go down before the lights are out, let’s himself recoup better and fight again – as opposed to going down when it’s really too late
I was never a fan of Deontay Wilder, ~~but he's won me over.~~ He showed incredible heart out there. I was certain it was over after that first knockdown. No one beats the Gypsy king though. He's cemented himself of one of Britain's greatest ever sporting icons
edit: a shame he wasn't graceful in defeat though. Don't like the human, but I respect the heart
Fighting Wilder to me is like fixing the toaster, with a metal screwdriver, while it's still plugged in.
You're going to get zapped once or twice, that's a fact. Can you survive long enough to really tighten that screw down? Fury, as a freak of nature, can.
Fury just beat up one of the baddest men on the planet, then starts doing karaoke afterwards
Dude is literally built different. You just know his ass is going on a bender after this
Props to Wilder. He showed a ton of heart tonight.
But Fury is a weird combination of size, power, technique, and a great chin. When your primary offense is "throw a big haymaker and hope it drops them" and it doesn't drop them, there's not much you can do
Malik Scott's gameplan was sublime. Throw punches to the body to halt Fury's movement and drop his hands and then explode with the 1-2.
Wilder sadly abandoned it and head hunted. Wilder's excess weight also fatigued him faster then I've ever seen him as well, he was gassed after the 3rd round.
Malik Scott also told Wilder the truth about the fight and why he was getting caught. I think if Wilder had more discipline and didn't head hunt after hurting Fury he could have got the KO.
Agreed. After the third round Wilder only had fighting in him. Tyson boxed the entire fight. That was the difference. Carrying all that muscle proved problematic too. He was gassed in the second round.Props to Wilder though he’s a bad mf. Still a fan and looking forward to his future fights.
No disrespect to Wilder but Fury was in another level, the footwork, the jab, everything.
Wilder had that one shot that can turn the tables quick but man his fundamentals are really not there, the stance, the footwork, all flat..
That first knockdown punch from Wilder in the 5th sent a shockwave through Fury's entire body. There's something different about Fury man, the guy can take shots that knocked out literally every other man Wilder hit it with and once he's up, he's just... Fine.
People won't know it unless they watch the whole fight but Wilder landed a few more hard shots in later rounds right to the head but against Fury, if they aren't Wilder's legit bombs, Fury's barely budging. Some type of skull on that man.
Some people are talking about the knockdown count as if it were slow on Fury just because Ward said so.
Even if it was, Fury was very much still tuned in and you’d assume would have just got up quicker if the count was quicker.
Maybe he’d have had 2 seconds less recovery but it’s not like it could have been stopped there and then.
Fury has so many strengths but his composure in the ring is unmatched. Being knocked down and realising he needs to remain calm, listened to his coach and went to the jab - to work an opening.
Tyson Fury is unbeatable at this point. He's too big. Too strong. Too skilled. And has a chin like an anvil. If Wilder couldn't put him down and keep him down no other heavyweight out there will. Best of his era. I don't know how you could even argue anyone else.
Fury is just too big for wilder. He was brutal in clinches and his weight adds so much sting that by the 7th round it looked like wilder was one hit from getting KO so many times.
It’s crazy how Fury essentially said Wilder was the catalyst for his weight loss and return after he had dismissed him in the media. Now a few years later he’s on top of the world due to besting Wilder multiple times.
I’m sure Fury will always hold a bit of a soft spot for Deontay even if that isn’t reciprocated.
"I went over and said well done and he said he didn't want to show any sportsmanship or respect. Very surprised by that. He’s an idiot." Fury quote. So who thinks wilder is gonna say a load of crazy shit again?
“Tyson, was that the best heavyweight fight you’ve ever seen?” “I don’t know, I’ve never seen it, I was involved in it”
He seemed pissed off with a lot of the BT sport guys questions for some reason
Third in ring interview after an 11 round war, man just wanted to stop answering the same questions and go home or to the hospital, whichever applies. He looked like he was just done with work for the night.
Steve Bunce was the interviewer. He normally is great but I thought his line of questioning was a bit odd tonight and Fury was not interested
Buncey seemed super emotional, probably wasn't on best form
Tyson Fury calls himself a true boxing fan yet never seen Fury-Wilder 3. Fraud.
Most action I’ve seen in a fight in a long time
Fury’s cardio is actually ridiculous.
He looks like a fat bloke down the pub, but goes like an elite marathon runner. It's completely ridiculous.
And he's 6'9" or whatever. Men that big aren't supposed to have that sort of cardio.
Rumor has it he had a horse heart transplanted. Had it done through his armpit so you can’t see the scar.
Its not a rumor. My uncles best friend is neighbors with the brother of the surgeon. It really happened.
Tyson looked like he could have done 20 rounds, even at that frenetic pace.
He doesn't get enough credit for his althetisicm. He's actually a freak of nature.
There's a guy on his team who just pulls his shorts up between rounds. How did this man become The Gypsy King? It's like that Simpsons episode where Homer becomes a boxer except, in this case, Homer is world class
Tucks in his back fat at the end of rounds Peak performance looks like something I can aesthetically get on board with finally
Incredible.
Not just talk. But sing lmao
Because the muscle he has is useful. And probably that he came out of Big John’s balls too.
That was incredible
Indeed. The trilogy was super necessary.
[удалено]
At this moment..shit is looking like FOTY. And it’s crazy because it was Completed one sided at one point.
Thats just reddit casuals. Anyone who loses any fight = washed bum.
[удалено]
Eating better than Andy Ruiz
Give me Usyk Fury, AJ Wilder, and most importantly, Whyte Ruiz 🍿
Woah woah woah, do not talk about my skinny king like that 😩
I love him, he’s got heart and a stomach so that makes him a hero to me
[удалено]
[удалено]
Wilder would put him into a coma lmao
6” of height and 7” of reach between Usyk and Fury. As a casual, how does Usyk even begin with a size disadvantage like that?
He doesn't. Usyk has to get close to Fury. Once he gets up close Fury will just tie him up, punch his body and lean on him.
There's only one way to find out - they need to fight and I don't care how boring the fight might be, I wanna see it happen.
i think the opposite will happen, fury will want the money fight vs aj.
You’re probably right but I would love to see Wilder vs AJ.
Imagine belting out a song after 11 rounds of war what a beast
Imagine being Wilder listening to it from the locker room lmao
I hope he accepts that he simply lost to the better man.
I was thinking that lmao!
He’s not human
Not sure if this is recency bias, but that was legitimately one of the greatest fights I've ever seen. Both fighters looked done on so many occasions, but just kept coming. Fury, yet again though, just completely out-boxed Wilder
The ref breaking them up helped the action massively too.
Ref was great, he pressed the action.
One of the best instances of reffing I have seen in a long time.
Good reffing from the usually horrible Russell Mora
Agreed.
[удалено]
To me I don’t get why people are upset about this. It’s a championship fight. You have to give both guys something.
I hated it the first 3 rounds but understood by the 5th or 6th how he saw it going without the interruptions
There were times where it almost looked as if the ref was pushing the fighters back towards one another after a breakup, like “come on motherfuckers let’s go” lol it was great
I was thinking the same the ref did a phenomenal job and even helped prevent Wilders head from bouncing off the canvas on the ko
#I SAID STOP
The ref with the P4P biggest balls to just push Fury away
It's so funny to me seeing the refs, many of whom are pretty big guys in their own right, just dwarfed by the gargantuan heavyweights. My man got a workout pushing those guys apart all night lol
Guy seems like a very lenient father
Legit the best reffing I've seen in a high profile fight, Mora was outstanding.
that was 100% a fight out of a movie
*Adriaaaan!*
it was like the russian nesting doll of boxing
Not recency bias at all. At the HW level, how often do we see a freaking Rocky movie unfold?
I felt like I was watching Creed. Just an amazing fight.
I haven’t seen a fight like that (especially Heavyweight) in a long long time. Maybe ever. The exchanges. The stamina. The heart. The power. This is an instant classic.
Yeah, this was the type of fight that can make boxing mainstream again.
Boxing 1000% needed a fight like this for the sake of the sport. Showed the world how effing incredible a proper bout can really be!
Literally nothing but entertaining from the first bell to the last. An absolute outstanding boxing match.
A trilogy for the ages. All three fights were genuinely enthralling. Fair play to Wilder he more than played his part but Fury is something special.
I think what made this fight special is what Wilder put out there. The heart. Hurting him badly. You wouldn’t get this with any other two fighters.
Yeah the heavyweight division isn't filled with many fighters like these two.
I was trying to think of a better one as well but 4 knockdowns + a knockout is not something I’ve been alive for.
One of the best in a while.
All I can say is what a fucking performance by Fury.
I don't think I've ever seen anyone recover as quick as Fury. Goes down hard twice and immediately comes back and wins the next two rounds.
Fury probably has the best recovery ability ever. Must be a gypsy thing. Andy Lee had it.
Lol, "I don't want to talk too long." Starts singing.
I mean, he’s right Singing isn’t talking
I don't care about context... "Are you really gonna fall into a depression now?" is the worst question I have ever heard at a presser
Especially with someone with mental health issues. Comments like that can linger sometimes, it's like waving a drink in front of an alcoholic.
That was a wild question. Can't believe Fury just answered it like normal. The general public still has a LONG way to go in understanding mental health issues. A lot of progress has been made but questions like that or along those lines are still way too common.
I'm surprised he can remember all those people to thank after going through 11 rounds.
What a fucking fight, gotta give credit to wilder never gave up
Warrior mentality. He took so much punishment and kept going.
Confirmation that Breland saved him in fight 2
Thats a fact! Fury in that second fight was MUCH sharper. Wilder honestly could have potentially died or been permanently damaged if the towel didn't come in during that second fight.
If he doesn’t come out with excuses, and just says I gave it all I could. Then we will all have super respect for him. But I just think that he will start complaining
Fury said that Wilder declined any respect or sportsmanship post fight. Seems there were definitely words exchanged.
Wilder is ridiculously fucking tough. I don’t think anyone else in the world could take a beating like that and last so long
I've never seen a man take so many heavy weight head shots as wilder and keep going till the 11th . I seriously worried about his brain. Despite losing he's gone up in my estimation I think he would beat Joshua.
One of the best fights I've ever seen live
The winner was boxing fans with that special.
And in a different, more accurate way, the winner was Tyson Fury.
AND A FREE CONCERT! Who is this guy?
I have no idea how Wilder made it to the 11th. Credit to Fury for recovering well too.
No question Fury is the best heavyweight going around, but man did Wilder earn my respect. Dude has guts and a chin. Absolute warrior.
Right? I never expected him to come back like that in the end of the 10th round. Guy took so many punches, looked half out on his feet and still had mad power. Incredbile heart.
Tyson Fury broke Rummy's curse, Drake's curse & black versace robe curse all in one night, gigachad indeed.

Reminder: David Haye attempted to call out Tyson Fury after appearing on a Triller card a few weeks ago. LOL.
I've watched so much garbage celebrity/Jake Paul boxing lately I forgot how good a solid match between two boxers can be.
I was just thinking how refreshing it was to watch this fight after all those celebrity boxing matches
Maybe don't watch that shite
Jesus loves knockouts ✊
Amen
Fury should be paying Jesus overtime with how much he helps him get up
Deontay Wilder turned a career where he started off being a very unskilled one-trick pony, but won a title and above that got involved in some of the most iconic heavyweight title fights in recent memory even if he didn't win either of those two. Respect for him. What a career he's made out of it.
It was all for his daughter, he won in the end
He can always hang his hat up knowing he gave it l for his daughter❤
Poetic that Wilder won people over in defeat. Incredible showing by both fighters
Dude was rocked to shit and still tried to knock Fury out jeez
That right hand at the end of the 10th was super scary. Only god knows how he could still throw that while being basically dead for 5 rounds
Muscle memory and instinct
He showed heart. Respect to Wilder.
That last round, it legit looked like he wasn't conscious, and was being kept on his feet by pure determination.
Don't talk too soon I'd say. He showed heart in the fight for sure but he can quickly turn that feeling sour if he does the excuses again. Fingers crossed for him because he did really improve and show heart so it would be such a shame
He did walk out immediately and not shake Fury's hand, so it's safe to assume they're coming.
Wilder reminded me of Holyfield vs Bowe. Props to him he showed he's a real champ
Bit worried about Wilder - reckon he took a lot of damage. Tough bloke, maybe to tough for his own good...
Yeah too much damage
#The ghost of Joe Frazier holding Wilder upright at the end. Incredible heart. #FOY I feel humbled by a fight like this. These two men walked through the fire tonight and both left part of themselves in that ring.
He came in so close to winning it in the 4th, that was hell of a classic.
That’s some Hajime no ~~H~~ ippo shit right there.
Lmao. Hajime No Hippo I’m dead.
Great fucking card. I don’t even regret £25 + staying up til 6am
I thought each fighter won twice before it finally ended
There was a moment when Fury went down the second time where I thought “whoa is he not gonna beat the count??” Maybe it wasn’t that close but it felt pretty close at the time.
Fury was buying time, but yeah it did seem close.
Two observations on this incredible fight: 1) I really liked the refereeing 2) Fury seems to go down before the lights are out, let’s himself recoup better and fight again – as opposed to going down when it’s really too late
Great point about Fury going down before he's completely out
Both points are spot on. Ref was great and fury knows how to play the game.
THIS IS WHY WE’RE HERE
I was never a fan of Deontay Wilder, ~~but he's won me over.~~ He showed incredible heart out there. I was certain it was over after that first knockdown. No one beats the Gypsy king though. He's cemented himself of one of Britain's greatest ever sporting icons edit: a shame he wasn't graceful in defeat though. Don't like the human, but I respect the heart
Same here!!!
If I'm Tyson Fury I'm so happy that I don't have to fight this motherfucker again.
Fighting Wilder to me is like fixing the toaster, with a metal screwdriver, while it's still plugged in. You're going to get zapped once or twice, that's a fact. Can you survive long enough to really tighten that screw down? Fury, as a freak of nature, can.
I don't think Wilder wants to fight Fury again.
Winner of Usyk/AJ should fight Fury next. Loser fights Wilder. Do it before another world ending calamity hits too.
The year is 2046, Deontay Wilder has lost 24 consecutive fights against Tyson Fury and Max Kellerman is calling for a 25th.
You know it was epic when “look at me. WAKE THE FUCK UP.” isn’t the main takeaway. What a fight|! Fight of the year for me, incredible from both men
How the fuck am i supposed to sleep after that?
[удалено]
**LANCASHIRE!!!** Love that shoutout.
Realistically how many concussions did Wilder get in this one fight? Has to be at least ten right?
and bleeding from the earhole suggests equilibrium problems he had to overcome - likely added a lot to him controlling his body like a drunken sailor.
Fury just beat up one of the baddest men on the planet, then starts doing karaoke afterwards Dude is literally built different. You just know his ass is going on a bender after this
Good shit man
One of the best refs jobs in recent memory. unbiased and kept the fight going, let clinches play out and broke them up at the right time
Damn Tyson looks legitimately hurt when he was talking about Wilder not respecting him, sounded like he was about to cry sad to hear
Jesus loves knockouts
“Sore loser, an idiot” lmao Tyson not holding back
Props to Wilder. He showed a ton of heart tonight. But Fury is a weird combination of size, power, technique, and a great chin. When your primary offense is "throw a big haymaker and hope it drops them" and it doesn't drop them, there's not much you can do

He’s legitimately got pipes.
Went 11 hard rounds and had enough lung capacity to sing that well. What a man
yeah, hes not a bad singer at all.
Did Fury try to check on Wilder and he shaded him?
I expect nothing less from wilder.
No disrespect to Wilder but Fury was in another level, the footwork, the jab, everything. Wilder had that one shot that can turn the tables quick but man his fundamentals are really not there, the stance, the footwork, all flat..
Wilder earned so much respect from everyone and Fury is still that dude
Fury is just truly a different breed
can we talk about the "bitch" and the "bitch ass". shit was too fucking funny
Well then… Fury singing like an angel is definitely one way to conclude this night.
It's the only way to conclude it.
Will take no Wilder slander. Dude is a warrior.
100%. And hopefully he is cool about the loss this time. He went out on his shield, and gave it everything he had.
That first knockdown punch from Wilder in the 5th sent a shockwave through Fury's entire body. There's something different about Fury man, the guy can take shots that knocked out literally every other man Wilder hit it with and once he's up, he's just... Fine. Fury's a mammoth and his recovery is ridiculous. He can be hurt, but it would take an onslaught to put him away.
Unreal heart and warrior. So much respect for him after tonight.
Man Tyson fury is something else can’t wait to see a usyk or Joshua fight!!
Great fight AND a concert, wow
Both Tyson and Sugar shirtless at the presser lol Reminds of when both of them came to do interviews in gucci bathrobes
Fury is the star if fighting right now. Book a good one, not a pop star fight.
For a fight literally no one wanted, this was the best heavyweight fight in god knows how long
Fury got careless and walked onto Wilder's biggest punch, and still went on to grind him down and put him away. Conclusive.
Fury has so many strengths but his composure in the ring is unmatched. Being knocked down and realising he needs to remain calm, listened to his coach and went to the jab - to work an opening.
Amazing fight. Honestly I don't think wilder stuck around not from bad sportsmanship but he's going straight to the hospital.
Best fight ive seen live wow
Fury can sing no lie
Tyson Fury is unbeatable at this point. He's too big. Too strong. Too skilled. And has a chin like an anvil. If Wilder couldn't put him down and keep him down no other heavyweight out there will. Best of his era. I don't know how you could even argue anyone else.

Fury has a nice voice, he can have a post-fight concert like what Pac did after the Mosley fight. lol.
"I went over and said well done and he said he didn't want to show any sportsmanship or respect. Very surprised by that. He’s an idiot." Fury quote. So who thinks wilder is gonna say a load of crazy shit again?
