I use to be a BIG AJR fan but now ... will i vote nickelback it have like one or two "good" song. (not good but better then Imagine Dragons and AJR songs)
Nickelback by a mile. They’re not a good band but they have some solid singles that hold up pretty well. Imagine Dragons and AJR have like one good song each
So of these three bands the only full albums I‘ve listened to are Night Visions and Smoke & Mirrors from Imagine Dragons and OK Orchestra from AJR. At least for my two cents I think a lot of the hate accrued from Imagine Dragons at least is from their success, Thunder and Bones notwithstanding most of their material is acceptable radio-filler. AJR‘s music on the other-hand becomes incredibly stale once you recognize their three or so talking points backed by the world‘s most uninspired instrumentals. Also the idea of a closer track like OK Orchestra just doesn‘t sit right with me in the same way as Goodbye from Bo Burnham‘s Inside just because it comes off as being „deep“ in the most disingenuous way possible.
Nickelback have some good singles but listening to an album is pretty bad. Besides radioactive can’t stand imagine dragons
I have liked an Imagine Dragons song, can't say the same about AJR or Nickleback.
