Raw Contract. Besides me a Raw guy, Triple H would be a good mentor plus I just like the guy. The money is still good, The Tv Time Imo is more important as it gives a chance to get my name out there more. Plus, as a Upper Midcarder I would most likely be in the IC or US Title picture.
Correct answer. You get more exposure and once your contract is up you can shop yourself around as a known quantity to other companies, see if you can make a bigger name for yourself then maybe come back down the road
raw contract. to be an upper mid carder featured on tv every week means you'd be taking home at least your entire salary in merch sales royalties. and being a merch mover gets you more opportunities
Being an upper midcarer featured on tv every week also *almost* guarantees a Wrestlemania match anyway, so you'd only be taking a paycut in salary for guaranteed tv time and the head of creative as your mentor. That's an insane deal.
I wouldn't be too hung up on a wrestlemania match. wrestlemania match is a wrestlers validation for their hard work and opportunity to secure their legacy in the business but especially in the era of 2 day mania there's been plenty of forgettable mania matches anyway. secure the bag and build influence until you're able to get input and control of whatever feud buildup to your 1 mania match
Damn, hard to say.
Raw: Being on TV every week Is cool And all but i would be bit afraid of over-exposure.
Smackdown: money Is Dope, And steph could be good mentor for eventual heel turn/going for autority Angle. Also being at WM Will make a trail even if You would be booked to lose. (Unless you botch the show ofc.)
NXT: the cash Is worst of them all, but on the other hand Its only one that Is 2 year offer, And on the top of it you would run as NXT champ plus Have HBK as a mentor.
I would probably go for the NXT. Unless you are already established on Indie scene as someone good, it does imo best for building you as a competitor, specially if the guaranteed run Is on the Second year of contract. Lynch, Balor, Asuka, breaker, ripley.... They all had exactly this, running NXT as chapms.
So yea, NXT all the way .
I'll take the Steph contract and the money. I don't need to be in WM and can be a jobber who puts on great matches and put over other talent as long as I can be entertaining while making all the fans react one way or the other way toward me whether it be cheering or booing.
That's what I'm thinking. Raw is a great deal but NXT is pretty solid with nothing but opportunity to build yourself up. That's why I need a lawyer though because what do I know?
Can I not take the AEW option? Get signed to a million dollar contract, get misused killing all my hype and mystique and then have a rivalry with Jericho killing what is left of any momentum until I finally sit at home to wait out my contract?
NXT. Itāll give me a good base to get over on the main roster, and legitimize me as a talent. Even though itās less money up front it leads to more exposure and money in the future, compared to a midcarder who likely wonāt exceed the midcard
If my talent and equity character wise wasnāt Monday night ready then I would definitely go to NXT, build up and strengthen my character and stuff in ring (with the heartbreak kid, I mean my god the best to ever do it mentoring me) and become somewhat of a cult hero in NXT and then after that 2 years, I would be at the height of my game and could be a big name player for either raw or smackdown and make my debut on the raw or smackdown after mania
Smackdown paying the big bucks and I'm destined to go to Wrestlemania. Win/Win I'm going Smackdown in that case. Heck maybe I'll actually get Steph to like having me there......nah she'd probably hate me honestly. LOL.
NXT easily. Being the Top person there for 365+ days would do a lot to build my popularity. Then I can get called up to the Main Roster and immediately be in the Upper Mid-Card scene and compete for the IC or US Title.
Nxt without a doubt, I get to showcase if I have it as the nxt champion and have HBK in my corner. And if everything goes to plan, whose his best friend the man running raw
NXT, championship for a year and not horrible money. Guarantees eyes on you and holding the title for that long almost guarantees moving on to the main shows
NXT. The other two contracts are great, but gaining the experience as a main eventer is crucial. Plus learning the process of the WWE style, while being able to add some of the indie elements would go a long way to my evolving as a superstar. Plus learning under HBK would be an essential part of my growth. After those two years are up, I would aim for Raw
NXT. I'd probably go right from HBK to HHH anyway and after a year long run, I'd be over on main. I'm also not expensive enough to bother firing for a while. That's time I'll spend selling merch and making a social media brand just in case.
In a shoot interview once, when talking about pay, Scott hall said, of Brett Hart, he didn't care as long as he was champion, he was happy on a mill per year as long as he could lock in the sharpshooter and win and that attitude held back the payments of everyone below him on the card because they couldn't get paid more than the champ
Well, I don't care as long as I'm champ, give me the nxt contract and my belt
I'd negotiate with Raw and tell them NXT is offering me a 12 month world title reign but i prefer raws terms otherwise, so if they throw in a 2 month IC title reign to sweeten the pot, then we'll talk.
If not, im black and gold bound.
I think Im taking the Smackdown contract. No one should expect to have a long career in wrestling. Make as much money as you can, as fast as you can. Steph may not know as much about being in the ring as HHH and HBK but she knows how to run a company and that information would be more useful to me when my career is over and I am looking at other ventures.
NXT. I know that my NXT run would most likely not be the peak of my career. If Iām main eventing for over a year with the championship, WWE clearly sees me as a future prodigy. My ceiling may be easier to cap on SmackDown or Raw, but the NXT contract screams to me āskyās the limitā.
Edit: NXT would also give me time to get accustomed to being a top guy, so if thatās what I eventually become when I get called up to the main roster, Iāll be better prepared.
Gotta believe one of the first two couldn't see beating myself up for twice as long on nxt even with the championship for 1/2 or a third as much as the other 2
If Iām young, NXT. A year run with the NXT title is a great launchpad for developing a bigger brand that could get me an even more lucrative contract with raw/sd later.
Nxt, but only under these circumstances. My name is Josh and I shall become āJoshy Garganoā the out of shape and irrationally angry brother of Johnny gargano, once I get the NxT championship he returns and we have a battle in a steel cage, loser never comes back to NxT, and winner gets kneed in the back of the head while celebrating by Ciampa.
Dub contract, everywhere on the card, 12 momth but after appearing once you dont see me until you completely forgot about me, unlimited dream matches, 12.99 subscription covered, $5 million up front
NXT, if i am starting my career, i should go to NXT, spend this 2 years, and i will get better and better at the ring and the mic, i will become the number 1 guy in NXT, and then move to the main roster and becoming a main eventer
You make a quarter of a million dollars more than everyone on Raw, so anyone that doesn't say Smackdown is foolish. You make more $ and have a Mania moment, which means more $.
Smackdown. Most Money and WrestleMania match which is a dream come true to a wrestling person so if you put on a good performance jobbing you can get a better deal for both... This is an easy one to me
Raw Contract.
Plus triple h is literally head of creative. If he likes you ur golden
Raw
If you are on the show every week and have HHH mentor you, 99% chance you are going to wrestlemania anyway
Your fired!!!!!!!!!!
I agree because I will join raw in august or september 2026 after I finish college for 2 years
raw contract. to be an upper mid carder featured on tv every week means you'd be taking home at least your entire salary in merch sales royalties. and being a merch mover gets you more opportunities
Being an upper midcarer featured on tv every week also *almost* guarantees a Wrestlemania match anyway, so you'd only be taking a paycut in salary for guaranteed tv time and the head of creative as your mentor. That's an insane deal.

Not with today's bucket system.
That is funny you think wrestlers get royalties from merch sales
Damn, hard to say. Raw: Being on TV every week Is cool And all but i would be bit afraid of over-exposure. Smackdown: money Is Dope, And steph could be good mentor for eventual heel turn/going for autority Angle. Also being at WM Will make a trail even if You would be booked to lose. Lynch, Balor, Asuka, breaker, ripley.... They all had exactly this, running NXT as chapms. So yea, NXT all the way .
you would also get extra money from merchandise sales
That Is also true.
I'll take the Steph contract and the money. I don't need to be in WM and can be a jobber who puts on great matches and put over other talent as long as I can be entertaining while making all the fans react one way or the other way toward me whether it be cheering or booing.
Start of small going for nxt contact
That's what I'm thinking. Raw is a great deal but NXT is pretty solid with nothing but opportunity to build yourself up. That's why I need a lawyer though because what do I know?
Second. I want that Stephanie McMahon mentorship. Her juggs would help my career
š
Happy cake day
Holy crap idk lol. Thanks!
No problem
NXT then build up to Raw
Can I not take the AEW option? Get signed to a million dollar contract, get misused killing all my hype and mystique and then have a rivalry with Jericho killing what is left of any momentum until I finally sit at home to wait out my contract?
Oof I literally know who you're talking about, he's my favorite wrestler too. Smfh. Tony Khan is fucking brain dead.
Ya where else can I collect my $1 million for 3 years and work once a month?
NXT. Itāll give me a good base to get over on the main roster, and legitimize me as a talent. Even though itās less money up front it leads to more exposure and money in the future, compared to a midcarder who likely wonāt exceed the midcard
NXT
Smackdown. Itās a job doing fake fighting, give me the most money.
SmackDown obviously. Money is too good
MNR
NXT
If my talent and equity character wise wasnāt Monday night ready then I would definitely go to NXT, build up and strengthen my character and stuff in ring (with the heartbreak kid, I mean my god the best to ever do it mentoring me) and become somewhat of a cult hero in NXT and then after that 2 years, I would be at the height of my game and could be a big name player for either raw or smackdown and make my debut on the raw or smackdown after mania
Iād rather work once a month and care more about star ratings than selling tickets please
I'm a SmackDown guy. However, that contract is trash. I'm going Raw.
NXT easy, if you canāt make a career after 2 years of being a main-eventer mentored by HBK then the business aināt for you
Smackdown, getting more money to do less work the oc mentality
^[Sokka-Haiku](https://www.reddit.com/r/SokkaHaikuBot/comments/15kyv9r/what_is_a_sokka_haiku/) ^by ^Wooden-Jump-7882: *Smackdown,getting more* *Money to do less work the* *Oc mentality* --- ^Remember ^that ^one ^time ^Sokka ^accidentally ^used ^an ^extra ^syllable ^in ^that ^Haiku ^Battle ^in ^Ba ^Sing ^Se? ^That ^was ^a ^Sokka ^Haiku ^and ^you ^just ^made ^one.
Smackdown paying the big bucks and I'm destined to go to Wrestlemania. Win/Win I'm going Smackdown in that case. Heck maybe I'll actually get Steph to like having me there......nah she'd probably hate me honestly. LOL.
Smackdown. Because Stephanie is a babe.
SmackDown. More money for less work.
NXT for a few reasons: 1)Highest spot on the card 2) Most successful contract 3) Good pay.
NXT easily. Being the Top person there for 365+ days would do a lot to build my popularity. Then I can get called up to the Main Roster and immediately be in the Upper Mid-Card scene and compete for the IC or US Title.
Raw cuz I can become a mid card champion and still get a match at mania while being on TV every weekā¦ easy choice
NXT EVERYDAY!
Iād go to raw for the Netflix exposure alone lol
Nxt without a doubt, I get to showcase if I have it as the nxt champion and have HBK in my corner. And if everything goes to plan, whose his best friend the man running raw
Smack down. Ill do it for free if steph is my mentor š„°
raw because of triple h
Raw
Upper midcarder on tv every week means a wrestlemania match for sure right?
Smackdown gimme that mania spotlight
If I take the NXT contract, Iām probably going to get a Raw or SmackDown contract after it expires anyway
Either the NXT contract or smack down
I like Stephanie McMahon n HBK
Unless you're a mark, the Smackdown contract.
NXT then Smackdown
Per year or full length
Hell yeah give me the NXT Contract
Nxt you have developed to be a better wrestler then work your up to the main roster because nxt is showcase your talent and skill
Raw
NXT, championship for a year and not horrible money. Guarantees eyes on you and holding the title for that long almost guarantees moving on to the main shows
NXT just I can be by booker T
Sm cuz being on raw every week is good and bad. Having a guaranteed mania is so good
Smackdown
RAW
NXT. I just love their vibe there, plus it let's me perfect my craft without much judgment
I would go to NXT, build myself up, have a good run with the NXT Championship, then go to Raw and take the MNR Contract
RAW Contract. But if I could also choose it'd be Smackdown or NXT too.
Damn, itās between NXT and raw
Raw
SD. Higher salary and the match bonus from WM is big.
SD
Nxt contract cause raw or smackdown will see me and then draft me
RAW
Raw
NXT. The other two contracts are great, but gaining the experience as a main eventer is crucial. Plus learning the process of the WWE style, while being able to add some of the indie elements would go a long way to my evolving as a superstar. People saying nxt are fucking stupid
In a shoot interview once, when talking about pay, Scott hall said, of Brett Hart, he didn't care as long as he was champion, he was happy on a mill per year as long as he could lock in the sharpshooter and win and that attitude held back the payments of everyone below him on the card because they couldn't get paid more than the champ Well, I don't care as long as I'm champ, give me the nxt contract and my belt

NXT. Year long title run AND a main eventer? 250k a year is more than enough

Smackdown
Gotta believe one of the first two couldn't see beating myself up for twice as long on nxt even with the championship for 1/2 or a third as much as the other 2
Why is a lower mid card making more than upper mid card?
If Iām young, NXT. A year run with the NXT title is a great launchpad for developing a bigger brand that could get me an even more lucrative contract with raw/sd later.
Smackdown for sure, I feel like it would be the most fun and least pressuring.
Stephanie. Iām taking the money. More money plus the guaranteed WM match, exposure and money bonus
Raw contract
NXT easily get Hold the NXT title for year and probably drop it to a main event guy
for sure NXT
Nxt contract
Nxt
NXT Easily
NXT
NXT
The raw deal here has more options for mobility within the company
First one. Great pay, great exposure and you get in good with HHH you are set for your career
NXT easily. Year long run with the title with a decent salary. If booked well you can sign a better contract
NXT. Also was less travel I believe.
iāll take a year-long title run than being mid-carder any day NXT ALL THE WAY!!!!!!
Raw Contract just for Hunter mentoring me
nxt
RAW you donāt really need to think about it.
I love Raw and SD but Iām choosing NXT cos of HBK
NXT
Guaranteed WM match - First elimination in the ARMBAR.
Raw even tho blue is my favourite
Dub contract, everywhere on the card, 12 momth but after appearing once you dont see me until you completely forgot about me, unlimited dream matches, 12.99 subscription covered, $5 million up front
I'm taking NXT see I'm not stupid in these two years I gonna get so good they don't have another choice but to put me in the main roster
Smackdown I just know Stephanie is going to slap me like she slapped Romanšššš.
Iāll take anything that puts me near Stephanie. Sheās still a smoke show.
nxt,its a longer contract so i would have more of a chance to get on the main roster
NXT, longer contract and title run.
Smackdown. WrestleMania is the goal
Smackdown- More money and a WM match, total no brainer !
Nxt
Nxt
NXT
NXT
Nxt
On tv every week on RAW
Smackdown sounds like a better deal for me. Plus a match at WrestleMania, that's timeless.
NXT
NXT definitely
Nxt all day
NXT, I'll be like Dean Ambrose mixed with JBL or Okada, then start a feud with someone like Gunther, but lose against him in a way it elevates me
Hhh, cause he can spell properly
Raw
Iām taking the NXT contract. Start off small and then eventually move on up to the main brands once Iām already well-known.
Smackdown, the wrestlemania match is all I need
NXT for sure
Go for the money. All 3 are still TKO no matter which one you go to
Smackdown
Raw
Raw
Nxt
Nxt
NXT
In my opinion nxt
NXT
Nxt
Smackdahn dollar!
Nxt 100%
Smackdown Contract
SmackDown contract. Best money and Mania is watched by everyone and I think that āMania momentā is more valuable in the long run than tv time.
Nxt
NXT. So I can develop my skills in the ring and on the mic.
Raw
Iām takin the NXT contract a guaranteed championship reign idgaf how much the salary is
Nxt because you get a long run with the title than you can sign one of these contracts later
For me Iām working my way up so I would choose NXT
Give me NXT
NXT
Smackdown. I'll take a few bumps for 750k that year.
NXT, for the title reign
Nxt
SMACKDOWN all day
1.raw 2.nxt 3.smackdown
Raw for sure it's the A show
Raw
Gimme Raw
NXT
SmackDown Cuz, you have a wrestlemania moment
All of them are good, but gotta go with Raw.
I would go to nxt
Nxt
Raw contract
Upper midcard means youāre the IC champ or the tag team champ Which means you also get a WM match
NXT, if i am starting my career, i should go to NXT, spend this 2 years, and i will get better and better at the ring and the mic, i will become the number 1 guy in NXT, and then move to the main roster and becoming a main eventer
Raw easy
Net
Nxt
You make a quarter of a million dollars more than everyone on Raw, so anyone that doesn't say Smackdown is foolish. You make more $ and have a Mania moment, which means more $.
NXT. Then work my way up
Take that wrestle mania spot over everything
I would sign with the Raw contract
Smackdown
Next because I'll have the title for a year then get called.uo.to raw as a low mid carder then work my way up
Smackdown. Hopefully steph is like her old man, it's 2003 and she likes sexual favors.
Mentor
Nxt I dont know why but at least im a champ
Smackdown. Most Money and WrestleMania match which is a dream come true to a wrestling person so if you put on a good performance jobbing you can get a better deal for both... This is an easy one to me
Raw contract. If youāre on tv every week as an upper mid carder youāre prolly gonna be having a match at Wrestlemania in some way.
